I went on a recommendation. First time at a Chiropractor. My consult was very rushed. My MRI and Xray's I brought were not looked at before treatment. I should have insisted but I thought he seemed confident. I was left in more pain and pain where i didnt have it prior along with neck popping and cracking. Needless to say I didn't do a follow up. I was told I would feel results in a few days. When contacted I explained this and was told I could come in and see Dr. B himself for a consult at no charge. I did reluctantly. I explained my condition, what happened and how I was left after the visit. He performed treatment to no avail. I have never ever had what's happening before and now am back in PT. They are not sure how to correct what was done. I'm in more pain than ever. read more

Nice people, but this is not a place that I would recommend to anyone dealing with muscle related issues resulting from a car accident. Dr. Block has a great personality, very friendly and upbeat (which is much appreciated during 8am appointments). Dr. Donner is also great, she is a little less talkative about personal life and more about the actual issue you are being seen about. I prefer her adjustments over his because she had me take deep breaths during back adjustments and layed me down during neck adjustments which helped relieved my anxiety when my neck is being "cracked". The massage therapists are hit or miss. I had a great experience with Kim and Kristen(?) they listened when I wanted more pressure applied, had a better rapport and actually paid attention to the notes given to them by the doctor. The Negative: 1.The front desk needs to be more clear about appointment times. Ex: I was told my therapy was at 8:30 (for 30 min), I arrived at 8:30, and they would send me for an adjustment first then to my massage therapy. The massage would start around 8:45 and they would only give me 10-15 minutes b/c I was "late". They need to inform people to arrive early for adjustment 1st so you can get full use of the time. 2. The Doctors: I asked them for updates on when my treatment (adjustments/massage therapy would end). Instead of telling me I had x# of treatments left, they abruptly told me I had 1 visit left and sent me on my way. Not only does that give me no time to find alternative options (orthopedic specialist, etc) it happened at a time when I am still dealing with issues. They ARE NOT capable of handling muscle related issues and should have stopped treatment weeks prior since they said that I needed more specialized treatment. This screams GREED and is unfair to me as a patient. Simply put, if you want a good massage therapist, see Kim or Kristen, if you want a sporadic adjustment (once every few months), come here, but if you have accident related issues (that they claim to specialize in), I would avoid this place. read more

My daughter is a young gymnast practicing over 20 hours a week. Although she is in great health and has had very minimum injuries in the past, she started seeing Dr Callahan for wellness. hoping to minimize future injuries, and become more familiar with herself. As many gymnast she has a very high pain tolerance and not a complainer, which makes it difficult as a parent to even know when she has any pain or not feeling herself. Dr Callahan is excellent at explaining each part of the adjustment process in a way that a 10 yr old can understand and making her feel very comfortable. Dr. Block - the chiropractor to the stars!!! Or as I like to call him, The Chiropractor Formerly Known As Prince (if you're reading this, Dr. Block, sorry, but you really do look like him). The first thing you'll notice when you go into his office is the myriad of photos of him with famous rock bands (Nickelback, Puddle of Mudd, etc). He's a rock n roll chiropractor! Heheh... He's great at what he does, his massage therapists are consistently good (Andrea is the best, avoid Nicki if you don't like a talker/light pressure), the receptionist is super friendly, and I never have to wait for an appointment. I have been going to Dr Block for about 10 years now. Way back when, I was reticent about chiropractic care, and boy am I ever a convert. I went due to an accident, so I had about 18 sessions regularly, and I can't imagine how I'd have been without them. Since then, I go in often either when the mood strikes me, or more often because I have done something foolhardy and need the help!!! Adjustments are always right on par, and the therapy sessions can't be beat. That's all good and well for the performance side of things. This place is AWESOME!!! I've seen both Dr. Block and Dr. Donner for some very serious lower back problems I've been dealing with for years, and they both have helped me feel so much better in a matter of only a few adjustments. Kind of like a before and after of a finely tuned car. They are also very good about getting you in when you have a crazy schedule and need a last minute appointment. Their massage therapists are also spectacular! I'd recommend Jawan because he did very well and listened when I asked him to specifically focus on my lumbar area because that's where I had surgery. Had my first visit with Dr Block while experiencing acute low back pain which kept me from riding for several days. When I stood after being adjusted I already felt relief! A month ago I went to Dr. Block for the first time. I've had back problems on and off for years (I'm in my mid-70's), and I thought that at some point I would go to a chiropractor. Then I got a severe neck and shoulder pain that would not go away; I knew I had to see a chiropractor. Our daughter had gone to Dr. Block some years ago and, by exercising regularly, has remained pain free. That was reference enough for me. After two sessions of chiropractic adjustment and massage, the neck and shoulder pain was gone. It recurs from time to time, but simple neck exercises relieve the pain. I intend to continue treatment until the recurrences cease, but I am enjoying a pain free life. There was even a bonus. I fell on ice a year and a half ago. Nothing broke, but there was severe thigh bruising. It got better, but as it did it seemed (and I walked) as if one leg were shorter than the other. When I mentioned it to Dr. Block, he said one leg might be shorter, but it was probably a hip trauma from the fall that would heal from the adjustments and massages. He was right! My gait is even! I no longer have a slight limp! I would only add that the office staff is friendly, personable, very efficient, and long tenured - a sign to me of a good place to work. There is a large group of massage therapists who, I assume, are all excellent - at least judging from the massages I received from Jackie. And there is a staff member who takes care of all the insurance work! That's service. read more
