I brought my daughter to this office for treatment of her acne and unfortunately had a disappointing experience during the clinical visit. We were seen by Fiona, and when I asked several medically relevant questions regarding my daughter's treatment plan and medication dosage, the interaction quickly became uncomfortable. My questions were meant to better understand the care plan for my child, but the provider appeared annoyed and ultimately told me that I was "antagonizing" her. As a parent trying to make informed decisions about my daughter's healthcare, I found this response discouraging and unprofessional. Patients and parents should feel comfortable asking questions about medications, dosages, and treatment options without feeling dismissed or criticized. Clear communication is an important part of quality care, and unfortunately that was not our experience during the appointment. I do want to note that the front desk staff were excellent. They were professional, attentive, and helpful both when we arrived and while checking out. Their courtesy and efficiency were appreciated. I've had 2 procedures here and I was pleased with both. The quality of care I received was excellent. The doctor and nurse were very attentive. I was relaxed because they were. I did not have to wait when I arrived. Parking is plentiful. Everyone was professional and friendly. I have already recommended them twice to family members who had similar experiences. read more

Be careful they will charge you and bill for services you did not receive. I went for dermal fillers which is not covered by insurance so I paid in full. While being assessed for the derma fillers I asked the question of continuing to use an expired medication (Tri-Luma) which is a fading cream. The medication is not covered by insurance i paid $275.00 with a discount from Good Rx. The medication was not prescribed at Atlantic. I was told it is ok to continue using it. I received the dermal fillers a week later and was pleased with the outcome. Thought I had found a forever place to receive the service again. I was not happy receiving a $117.00 bill for asking a question. I will never go back to Atlantic Dermatologic. Their billing practices are predatory and unethical. read more

I've gone here for several years and the wait to get into the room is always ridiculously long. Usually 45mins to an hour. I think they can bill insurance if they take two things off your body (suspicious moles) bc I've never gone there and NOT had 2 things removed. Never more and never less. New appointment scheduled with the PA to see my daughter because the drs were too busy. Arrived 10 minutes before appointment to complete necessary paperwork and was informed that social security # was required. I informed the staff I do not give out social security #s because of identity theft and social security #s are no longer required for billing. The practice refused to see my daughter. They are amazing! The wait is as expected- a few minutes, but I called 30 min prior to my appointment to see if they were running on time. They told me they had a couple emergency situations and if possible to come a few minutes late just this time. Worked great. I am so thankful that they take time with their patients and never treat us like a "factory". Some doctors offices come in for 60 seconds and leave their assistant to do most of the visit. I have been seeing the physician associate, Fiona, for years. She is fantastic! Very thorough and empathetic. There was only one time that I had to wait approximately 30 minutes but then I realized there was some sort of emergency situation going on. The front desk has always been nice to me and accommodating- even when I call for a last minute appointment. I have recommended them to family and friends and will continue to do so! read more

Don't waste your time and money here. I had a question about a medication Dr. Simon prescribed for me that my insurance wouldn't approve unless the Dr. deemed it medically necessary. Instead, he changed the prescription to a harsher medication that would irritate my sensitive skin because his answer was: "I don't do prior authorizations to the insurance companies", which if he did would have approved it. Well, guess what, I don't go to Drs. that do not give a damn about their patients comfort level. Bye bye !!!! read more

Love Dr Simon he is always on the money with his diagnosis. I just wish he took the new insurance I have but he takes my daughters insurance so here we are. Sometimes the wait is long but I feel he is worth the wait. His staff is great also, very sweet and helpful !!! read more

I was a new patient, got to the office 10 minutes early and then sat for an hour. Once it was an hour past my appt time, I got up and left. I left work early and raced to get there and then I had to go pick up my kids. It's ridiculous to me that a new patient would have to wait over an hour to be seen and that people actually go along with this. My time is valuable as well. Won't be going back. A doctor's appt of this nature shouldn't take half the day. read more

Sometimes I get nervous before seeing a doctor, but Kaleigh always makes me feel comfortable. She is also very knowledgeable when it comes to cosmetic procedures. Highly recommend her!! read more

Kaleigh, the PA saw me, after many times of telling me she wanted to "see the cyst again in two weeks, and if its not better ill refer you to the surgeon" she finally did, unfortunately she diagnosed it wrong and the plastic surgeon was unable to remove, referring me yet another surgeon. the last time i was there, i listened to her and an appt 1 week before my scheduled surgery so they could double check it, making me sure it was going to be excised. she was not there, i saw Dr Kahn, who told me it was good to be cut out and the plastic surgeon would do. waste of time, this has been going on for close to a year, was a fight to get the surgeons info, and when she finally did, it was wrong. DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE. I WASTED A LOT OF MONEY OF CO PAYMENTS FOR BAD INFORMATION AND WASTED TIME. there is a reason you call some dermatologists and they give you an appt two months in advance and atlantic can squeeze you in that week. read more
