I have made an appointment with a general surgeon to have the epidermoid cyst removed. After your I&D there was no reduction in size and it is like I did not see you at all. Please send the results of the culture as soon as you get them. Sir, your bedside manner is non-existent. You lack compassion and you don't LISTEN to patient feedback. You administered 1% Xylocaine with Epinephrine. You did not wait even a minute before making an incision. The pain was severe. You minimized my complaint, telling me I was feeling "pressure" and not pain. Sir, I have had more procedures with local anesthesia than I can count. That includes oral surgery for a root extraction, bone graft and gum closure 4 weeks ago. Also Mohs S-plasty on June 18, 2024. I felt pressure but never pain. What I felt in your office was PAIN! Do not EVER dismiss a patient's feelings or feedback. I will have my other skin care needs attended to by a dermatologist in Florida when I get there. My advice to you, based on my experience and based on the comments left by other patients is to reassess what you do for a living, why you do it and if you cannot become more engaged, more empathetic and more communicative, stop practicing. Apparently you forgot why you went into medicine ... and it shows.

Walk-in Dermatology in Plainview made it super easy to make an appointment online. There is also the option to walk in if you need be seen immediately. You can call head if you want to check the wait time. I made an appointment online which was easy to follow the steps to request the appointment. Checking in was took a little bit of time since I was a new patient. You have to check in at the desk first and then you will be directed to use one of the many tablet kiosks to enter in the intake information. I saw Dr. Evelyn Greco at this location. She diagnosed my skin issue right away and prescribed me a creme that helped resolve my skin issues. She also gave great advice to deal with flare ups and recommended products to use everyday to help prevent flare ups. She also gave me some samples of lotion to take home. Had a great experience here and would return if I need to in the future.

When I mentioned the blue light on my next visit he said remind me why we aren't doing that to you ?because you NEVER MENTIONED IT AS AN OPTION. I called last week and told the female who answered that my face was oozing, bleeding in spots, she said that is supposed to happen. I said on the directions is says not to put on an open wound , is why I'm calling. She replied and I quote " maybe you should just avoid those areas" I went there the other day and my face is all infected. No idea why some says MAYBE you should do something instead of asking a DOCTOR. Also they got blood all over an expensive Levis shirt, I said why wouldn't you ask me to take it off and give me a gown to wear? When filling the prescription for the chemo cream I was told the cost would be $300 , when it was ready I was told it was $80 . I asked how it got cheaper. She said they prescribed a larger tube that the pharmacy didn't have in stock. They gave me a smaller tube and assured me it would be enough. After applying twice a day for 3 weeks I have 3/4 of the smaller tube left. No clue why they prescribed such a large tube, so I would waste hundreds of dollars ????? Sorry to say I'm unhappy with this practice.
