If I could give 0 stars, I would. I took my 4 year old son into the office to see Maria Nunez. She treated an extremely common (I found this out after our visit through my own research and speaking with another dermatologist,) childhood condition (molloscum) with a very aggressive approach, and did not give me any other options before doing so. This condition, in fact, is typically left to clear up on its own. Instead, Maria Nunez and her assistant burned my son with acid and did not explain any of the after effects to me before doing so. They did not even explain to me that it was acid and would cause blistering and bleeding. After waiting 3 hours for my son's prescription creams to be ready, I finally called the office, and was told that Maria was extremely overbooked and didn't have a chance to sign off on the medicines yet. I find this to be unacceptable. When I go to a doctor's office, I expect to be given all of the options and information in order to make an educated decision regarding treatment. This was just not the case at this facility and I will not be returning. I would never want this to happen to another parent. read more

The woman that my teen and I saw took 5 minutes between the both of us & didn't answer any questions regarding concerns, and even stated that a staph infection couldn't be contracted by poor hygiene/hand washing. (I was flabbergasted especially to have a medical professional contradict something logical a parent said to their child.) The $400 "drainage" of the few pimples I had on my face were nothing more than a "digging" in with a tool and leaving several scratches/small little scars on my face. One look at my teen's (acne) face and ALL she did was offer a prescription. (No show of interest in the human being, or mention of diet, hygiene, etc.) Furthermore, they've failed several times to Bill my insurance correctly. I utilized their services last year. Now I've been trying for 2 weeks to get through by phone just for an appointment. They keep saying someone will call back but no one does. Are they still in business or just poorly managed? Anyway it was easy to move onto another place -so many dermatologists in this county. If you do happen to get an appointment here, bring cash for your copay. They charge a fee for using a credit card. Yes, a fee. A cheap low class way to make extra change. I can understand if this was a small mom-pop shop trying to survive but seriously? This is a professional practice that gets a lot of money from INS. You really want to nickel and dime? Seems desperate. What's next, charging for using the bathroom, the waiting area or parking. Maybe we can tip the doctors. read more

The only good thing I can say about this office is that they are always and very consistently friendly and nice. DISHONEST: Beyond this, this office straight up lied to me. They told me that tretinoin is rarely covered by insurance so they make and sell their own tretinoin cream for $50 a pop. Selling me your own product would be fine except for the fact that tretinoin IS actually covered by insurance, including Medicaid. I know this now because my new dermatologist has successfully prescribed .025, .05, and .1% strength creams for me, ALL covered by insurance! CONSISTENT LATENESS: I began here by seeing Lori Friedman, who - while EXTREMELY nice, understanding, and has a superb bedside manner - was always, and I mean ALWAYS late for our appointments, even when I was the first appointment of the day. No apology, no excuse offered. I don't appreciate that, especially not when I was always early for our appointments and when I am taking time from work to do so. I thought this problem was specific to her, until I began seeing others there. SAME PROBLEM. In all the times I have had appointments here, and that's a pretty good number of times, I have never once had an appointment start on time, or even close to on time. Their physicians and PAs always leave you waiting at least 15-20 minutes. It's so unprofessional but also inconsiderate. I - like many others - work, and am taking time out of my work day to come in. The only two times I have been seen close to on time were the two appointments I had during COVID when I was seen by two doctors covering from different offices. NOT ADHERING TO COVID PRECAUTIONS: But...during COVID, when EVERYONE is mandated to wear gloves and masks outside, and where in a medical office you wouldn't think you would have to say this, on the two occasions I have had appointments here, BOTH times, not a single person at the front desk had on gloves, and 2 out of 3 receptionists weren't even wearing masks!! This is including one who clearly just came from outside, picking up fast food! I was blown away at their carelessness, and frankly, I didnt feel safe going there after that. PRESCRIPTION ERRORS: Lastly, they don't pay attention to my prescriptions. Countless times, they call in my prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy. read more

I had an entirely positive experience here today. The girls at the front desk were all friendly and professional. Yes, they are chatty with each other and we can occasionally hear their gossip but it's not their fault they aren't given a proper office. They seemed to treat everyone well, both on the phone and in person, and that's all that matters to me. Even though I felt foolish for being there for what I felt was a very minor reason, both Dr. Flashner and the Assistant who was present today (Nicola) both treated me seriously and with respect. Dr. Flashner is definitely no-nonsense, which may come across as brusque to some, but she seems very knowledgeable and explained everything well. Nicola was pleasant, patient, and a kind presence. I go back in a few weeks for a followup and I hope for a repeat positive experience. I'm actually glad to have found this place and if they continue to be kind and hospitable, I may see what cosmetic options they offer. read more

I had an appointment with doctor Eve. She was so nice and informative. All staff, front desk and nurses were polite and helpful. The doctor took her time checking my concerns and talking to me about them. I also was given some free samples of product to try on my skin. The most UNPROFESSIONAL doctors practice I have ever been to! First, they have a call center that you need to speak with before getting someone on the phone. Then, the actual office WILL REFUSE to speak to you on the phone or give you an attitude or yell "WE'LL CALL YOU BACK!" (which they will call you back at times you tell them you cannot speak) The actual doctors there are so rude and will yell at you about your skin and your problems. They will push off your concerns and gaslight you into thinking that you are the problem. They will not make an effort to get your test results. Furthermore, they will then make it nearly impossible for you to receive your test results, as they are always closed. They will offer to FAX information to you (its 2022, no one uses a fax machine). They will interrogate you when you ask to get your results to go to another practice or doctor. They are the nastiest, rudest, WORST practice and I regret ever going. read more

My wife had gone to this facility to have allergy testing done in October. They told her that she would have the results back soon. In about a week they called her to tell her they had the results and she would get them in an email. When she checked the email there was an issue with the website and she was unable to get her results. She was then told a few days later that it was resolved but when she checked she still could not get the results. After going back and forth with the office on the phone for weeks then months she went to the office to get a hard copy of the results but they gave her were not what she had been told. She asked to speak with a manager and waited with our 10 month old daughter for over an hour in the office before walking out. It is February and she still does not have the results of the testing. This is completely unprofessional and my wife has been more than patient and understanding with these people. I would recommend going anywhere else. read more
