I have been very fond of DR Fegan as he has been my doctor for 20 years. He has always been dedicated to his patients. I have recommended many people to him. My disappointment is I have my annual check up in June 2026. I called to change the date as it was my grandsons graduation. Well I have to wait till May 2027 for my next appointment. You walk in and it is devoid of customer service. You leave like you don't think they knew who you were. There's always something missed or not followed up on. Constant billing issues. Either no callback, didn't note the information or tell anyone else. The place is clean. that is all it has going for itself. many years and have to say each experience sucked worse than the last. Waiting a month for lenses they said would be 2 weeks and cannot tell me how much or when they will be in. Save yourself the time and energy and try someone else. read more

I was over-billed. I was told by the office staff a procedure was covered by my insurance, and I would have NO OUT OF POCKET cost. I got billed for the procedure and the office manager Christine told me that it is my problem and there was nobody that I could appeal this poor treatment to. They have made no attempt to correct the problem, expressed a lack of caring, and rarely even returned my calls. Office and billing folks are terrible here. read more

Fantastic facility! I recently changed jobs, the new insurance plan cause me to find a new Eye Dr. I've been going to the same place for years and only get the best glasses so I'm used to terrific care. I had to find a new Eye Dr and Atlantic Eye was in my insurance plan. I came in and found a beautiful office and excellent people. The exam was thorough and absolutely great. I chose new glasses again finding the optician was really good. Even some of the ladies from the reception area came out to help me find a stylish pair of glasses. Making appointments couldn't be easier using their website. The wait in the office was minimal and service is too notch. I couldn't be more please with Atlantic Eye. I had​ an appointment for cataract surgery. I was told that the multifocal lens would not be covered by insurance. So I paid nearly $5,000 for the better lens out of my pocket , instead of the monofocal lens that would be paid for by insurance. It turns out that the multifocal lens is entirely covered by Insurance except for a copay, and now I am having trouble getting reimbursement for what they charge me, when they had already been fully paid by my insurance company . read more

I went in for a routine annual eye exam. I was greeted and taken on time. The staff was polite and kept me informed of the-next-step The doctor was thorough, took the time to explain my medical issues and what the plan was going forward. I also got glasses made. I require an unusual prescription, and they were able to get it done in less than the promised two weeks. This is my 3rd year with this practice, and I intend to continue as a permanent patient. read more

Longtime patient, I am continually surprised at the level of care I receive by virtually everyone at Atlantic Eye--Dr. Fegan is an exemplary physician who has helped me treat my glaucoma over the years, giving me time to consider each option he proposes. He actually listens. My latest experience with the optical department was very satisfying as well. Many current eyewear styles to choose from and with the careful and not at all pressured assistance of Damon I got a pretty close to perfect pair of prescription sunglasses. Difficult to get an appointment. At least a 3 month wait, even with referral for appt from my doctor!

After being a patient for eight years, I am no longer going to go to Atlantic Eye Physicians. Every time I go, the hectic feeling there just gets worse. Here's a summary of what to expect if you are a patient there. 1. Lateness - You will not be seen on time even if you manage to get an early morning appointment. This has been true for the last several times I have gone, and it is also been true for my family who have gone. Today I wasn't seen by the doctor until I was there for two hours, and there was no apology about the lateness. This should not be the case my appointment is at 9:30 AM, and I have an even had that much time to get backed up yet. It's a very busy office, in a bad way. 2. Staff turnover - There are new staff every time I go. I feel they don't appreciate my business, even though I had been going for years. There is often a tone in their voice when they answer the phone or just do regular routine business with me. 3. Doctors - The doctors may have inherently been good doctors at one point, but they seem rushed and frazzled now. They allow me to ask questions, but I get the impression that they are just rushing to go to the next appointment after me. Although I've been going for years, they don't remember my patient history. They don't listen when I tell them about important matters and symptoms. They really just want to make money on surgeries and don't care about routine exams. 4. Prescription renewals and billing - If you call with a billing or a prescription question, you end up reaching a voicemail. You cannot get someone on the phone, even when you try to get them to call you back. 5. HIPAA violations / privacy concerns - They will blatantly disregard patient privacy. They will call you at a wrong, old phone number and share patient information with whomever answers the phone. When you tell them that they need to dial the correct phone number and that it is a HIPAA violation, they think that you're over reacting instead of being careful to protect patient privacy. It is not recommended that you use any location of this practice. read more

Been seeing Dr Hall for 2+ years and have a high degree of confidence in his treatment. Sadly for me, I have made an appointment with another practice. This decision was driven entirely by the disappointing interaction w/the staff. I made several calls to the office over the course of the past week leaving requests for call backs. I got a very spotty response w/most calls going unanswered. One or two of the staff members were reasonably pleasant and helpful, but largely I found them quite rude and ineffective. I asked to speak w/the office manager hoping to communicate w/a professional w/some skill in customer communications. I found her sullen w/an I don't care attitude. When I spoke w/the staff at my new eye center, it was a delightful day and night contrast. The staff at Atlantic Eye needs some training. read more

While I was very pleased with Dr. Tsai, the ability to get an appointment or talk to anyone in any one of the office staff is next to impossible. After cataract surgery performed by Dr. Patel, I developed macula edema which took months of treatments with a retina specialist. Once completed, I tried to get an appointment with Atlantic Eye to get examined for a new prescription for glasses. I called several times, and a message referred me to their website to request an appointment. The online appointment scheduler has a bug in it and doesn't work. I texted every office multiple times requesting a call back which never happened. They finally texted me with an appointment for 2 months later, which I rejected. I told them I was going to go to another practice and still no response. I absolutely recommend that this practice not be used if you want any compassionate service. read more

Pay attention to the other negative reviews because this practice should be avoided to the point that it inspired me to write my first Yelp review. I have a diagnosed pre-condition that makes me Covid susceptible. I explained this staff and asked if I could wait in my car until the appointment and was told no. I then observed the staff walk around the office without masks, particularly the blonde female eyeglass vendor who was more interested in conducting details with a house closing over the phone than practicing safety practices for their patients. After inquiring about staff safety procedures, I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time and came in contact with a half-dozen additional patients who came in after me and were seen before me. I could no longer put myself in that level of risk and left without seeing the doctor. AVOID! read more

My routine exam started great with Sarah in the Wall office. It went down from there as I was supposed to be enrolled in an contact purchasing program. No one could register me. I was only given 5 day sample and needed more but their phone tree has no human interaction. 4 texts, 4 messages left 2 emails to the info email, then an email sent from my portal Two days later I get someone who tells me they were doing me a solid by calling me. The place is a dumpster fire. The Dr seemed good, but the rest, nah. Not going back and would never put my family through that. No one cares to do their job. Dr Fegan removed my cataracts and I paid extra for monovision as this worked great when I wore contacts. well my near vision was terrible after surgery and he would not do anything including a partial refund for the special lens Said I was trying to negotiate for a lower price. read more
