There is a spacious parking lot in a complex (with Starbucks, Jersey mikes etc). I checked in, filled out the forms and in about 15 mins I was called in for my appointment. They had nice high tech equipments that I hadn't seen (and I've been to the eye doctors appointments for almost two decades) which felt very comprehensive. Dr. Caren Mullner walked into the room without introducing herself. She said she had no notes about me having this procedure done. She examined me quickly and numbed my eyes. She had a huge needle and started aiming towards my eye. When asked if she can tell me as to what she will be doing, she replied that I am numb and won't feel it. Halfway through, my heart started racing and I ran a sweat and felt like I was going to pass out. I pushed through so she could finish. When she was done, I told her I didn't feel well and told her my symptoms. I asked her to get me water, my husband and to check my blood pressure. She did not know how to react to me being in distress and left me alone. I had to ask her three times to get my husband. They told my husband that I wasn't feeling well. My husband said my face was grey. They showed no concern. I rushed to the bathroom where I released both ends. My husband had to beg for them to call an ambulance! Eventually, they took my pressure. While it was elevated, I felt better. I got my vitals checked! I had to beg for them to tell me what medicine they used. It appeared to be my nerve that goes from my eye to my heart. As I was leaving the office, the nurse just stared. The doctor didn't even say feel better. She disappeared! Please don't come here! They are not trained properly and they don't treat their patients with respect. I don't even expect a follow up call! They didn't even tell me what to expect after the procedure!

Terrible Experience - Please Be Careful…read more I had my cataract surgery done here, and it turned into a nightmare. I went in with very high eye pressure, but they still went ahead with my left-eye surgery as scheduled. During surgery, my capsule broke. The surgery center didn't even have the proper lens for the sulcus, so I was left without a lens in my eye for two weeks. Later, they performed another surgery to implant the lens. Unfortunately, due to the trauma from the first failed surgery, my cornea became swollen, followed by consistent inflammation. Six months later, Dr. Kung told me that there were leftover fragments from my natural lens causing infection -- and that I needed a third surgery to remove them. All of this led to corneal edema, loss of vision, ongoing inflammation, and constant pain. After consulting two cornea specialists, both confirmed that the bad cataract surgery caused all of these problems. Now, the only solution left for me is a cornea transplant. I am terrified and deeply regret trusting this place. RUN -- do not risk your eyes or go through the misery I'm experiencing. On top of everything, they ran many tests on their machines and charged me a lot of money throughout this ordeal.

He has his practice in his home and I liked the fact that I didn't have to wait in a waiting room for 30 minutes to see one of the doctors in the other practice. He took me right in, nice office, modern equipment and he explained that my current glasses showed an astigmatism in my right eye which was not correct. He gave me a new prescription, took it to Costco and in 7 days had my new lenses in my old frame. I didn't think it would make much difference since I had corrective cataract surgery a couple of years ago, but boy did it make a difference. I can read small things now, I can see my computer screen and when driving everything is sharp and clear even at night. I gave Dr. Miele 5 Stars because he is knowledgeable, took time to explain everything to me and answer my questions and was a really nice guy.
