I never feel confident that I am getting the best deal or making a good decision. For better or worse, WF has their best price listed on the window sticker and there is no negotiation. The price is very competitive and I appreciate the fact that I do not have to haggle. The staff is excellent and they have a huge inventory that you can browse without high pressure salespeople. I definitely recommend this dealership.

had an issue with my car and had another shop fix it under an insurance claim but upon getting it…read moreback the issue continued. They told me they only reset the lights despite getting an insurance payout so my insurance agreed to having wiscasset ford inspect their work and finish the repairs. Wisscasset ford took my car completely apart, as told to me by my insurance adjuster when they went out to see it but wiscasset ford told them that nothing was wrong wirh it other than wear and tear. This i knew was BS given the fact that the first shop told me they didnt do all the repairs. My adjuster told me wiscasset ford would call me. That was on a monday. Crickets. Wednesday I called wiscasset ford to be told the car was all set someone would be texting me photos. Crickets. Thursday I was on my way to get the car since I was told it was all set despite not getting any texts. So I called them to confirm my car was ready to be told it was still in pieces waiting for approval on a text they never sent. I reminded them they didn'tsend me anything. I finally got their estimate for repairs that was just under 5,000! They wanted to charge me a crazy amount for new tires for one example. The same price i paid for a Toyota Tacoma but my car is a small 4 door sedan. Knowing their prices are way too inflated and I could get it all done at a better rate and my lack of trust in them, I denied all repairs, According to them nothing was mechanically wrong with it and I knew the issue was due to the first claim. They said I could picked it up the next day. I did, and it had even more issues now than it did prior. The undergarage protector to the motor was dragging on the ground. I heard the noise but had no idea where it was coming from, but when I smelled smoke I pulled over to investigated to see it dragging on the road. I had had enough called my insurance and opened a second claim against wisscasset Ford and had my car towed to my old mechanic in NH whom I did business with for 20yrs prior to moving to maine. Thankful for Triple A premium. They did infact confirm that the first shop did not do all the repairs covered under my first claim and confirmed damage done by wiscasset Ford. My car now had mechanical damage. My insurance will be going after them for reimbursement. I have never had a shop have not just poor communication which is evident by many other reviews but did damage to my vehicle as well. I wonder if any of them are actually certified. The worst experience of my life. Avoid!

Thank you for taking time to respond to my complaint…read more I disagree with you. I have documentation for everything that occurred during my experience with your company. 1. Although I agree, I did not purchase this recent Black Jeep Grand Cherokee from you, your records will show that I purchased my previous White Jeep Grand Cherokee from you - which by the way had the same engine failure and was traded in for the Black Jeep. This is why we decided to purchase the very expensive extended warranty when we purchased the black Jeep Grand Cherokee. Prior to this incident I had a reasonably good experience with your service department which is why I chose to use your dealership for our repair. I was not expecting to be without a vehicle for almost 6 months. Your records will also show that we purchased a Jeep Wrangler from you previously. We definitely will never purchase a vehicle from your dealership again. 2. I'm not sure what you mean by how you "attempted" to help us on multiple occasions. I still have the entire text thread from your technician. The only guidance we got from your company was to contact corporate directly to find out where the parts were. Stellantis was of no assistance, they just gave us the run around. I have all of the emails and voicemails that show I got the constant run around from corporate and from your company. It wasn't until I sent a certified letter to your higher ups that I was contacted by your management with no real resolution. 3. I completely understand that you had to work through the warranty company's requirements. However, that doesn't excuse how your company handled this entire situation. You absolutely do not offer loaner cars(which would have been a pretty reasonable solution), sure you offer discounted rentals($40 a day, but an unreasonable option at $1200+ a month, more than the monthly payment on the vehicle you had in your possession for over 5 months while I was still making payments on that vehicle to avoid defaulting on the loan), and no other options or alternatives were offered. 4. The lifters in fact did finally come in, and it was determined that a brand new engine was ultimately needed. We then had to wait longer for a new engine to arrive. When the vehicle was finally repaired, when we picked up the vehicle the oil light came on before we departed. My husband directly asked the technician if they put oil in the new engine, the tech brushed it off and laughed, to which he said of course we put oil in the engine, then proceeded to reset the oil light. We drove the Jeep from Westbrook to our home, and the next day to work when it started making unusual sounds in the engine. After checking the engine and the oil spigot for oil levels in the engine, the spigot was dry. I took a video immediately and I sent the video to your service department and immediately had the vehicle towed back to your service department. The jeep was returned the next day with no real explanation as to why there was no oil in the engine. 5. I'm not sure what significant portions of the repairs you absorbed since this repair was covered by the warranty. But I do know that my business suffered losses as a result of this vehicle being out of commission for such a long period of time. The cost of insurance, the cost of paying for a vehicle we had no access to, canceling clients, increased payroll, lost time chasing parts down for you and other expenses directly related to loosing access to the vehicle added up to a substantial loss. Instead of showing a little empathy or taking accountability by offering to make things right for the most recent experience we had with your company, your response is "well it's not our fault, we suffered losses too, we wish you well." You are taking zero responsibility for your company and the company you represent. It is unfortunate but after this experience and having owned many Jeeps over the years, we will never buy another Jeep again and we certainly will never buy any vehicle or service a vehicle with your company.

I managed to make it to Craig's auto in woolwich. He told me he didn't have time to look at it tonight but that he could tomorrow and call me. I left it at around 11am the next day I hadn't heard from him yet so I called they told me the spark plugs are new but were dirty and one was loose. I had a headlight out so I agreed to let them change that and asked for a state inspection. I went there just after 5pm they were still open he had a bill for me for $186.26 unsure why so high but I paid it and he gave me a new sticker. I then left happy my van was fixed or so I thought. Thankfully I had a friend following me because not even 10 miles down the road my van started breaking down with the same knocking sound. On a busy road in the dark far from home being a 21 year old girl if have been stranded and easily hit by another vehicle. I tried calling the shop multiple times no answer. I left my van and headed back to the shop no one was there. We knocked on the door of a house on the property hoping it was the owner but it was a workers of the business. He called Craig inside then came out and told us to come back tomorrow he'd look at it. I told him its stuck down the road we have to call the police to make sure it isn't towed and I wasn't sure how he could have given me a sticker if the van clearly isn't safe. He told us we were crazy and to get off his property. We pulled into a parking spot at the shop to look up the police non emergency number. The man came out and gave us Craig's cell. I called he told me the same as before I was in disbelief of how unconcerned he was about me and how rude he was talking to me. I asked him to explain my bill he said I was charged for the headlight, sticker, and for looking at the vehicle. I told him I wasn't paying another $100+ dollars for him to look again and he hung up on me. I then went to the police station the officer followed me to my van to get the plate number and location so it isn't towed and provided me with the another police stations number for a fraud complaint. I also write the BBB and AG waiting for his response.
