Our goods are being delivered right now, and I am absolutely beside myself. Countless boxes and totes are ripped up and otherwise damaged from crush and mishandling. I'm a toy collector; my wife is an artist. Things are missing and damaged. We have many irreplaceable items that I'm waiting to find the damage. I am utterly beside myself. The company takes no responsibility for anything. Avoid them like the plague! It's no wonder they charge so little upfront and apply a BS quote. I was charged an extra $3000 on audit before the move and then another $5000 when loaded. Upon choosing Atlantic, I was told that our belongings would be delivered over the weekend. Turns out, on pick-up we were told it would be about a week. Which was fine. After going through the contract once more, we found that it would take 8-21 days. Which again is fine, as long there is a notification of the whereabouts of our belongings etc. After waiting a week, I have to call and find out our stuff is being stored at a warehouse. I was told by CS told that since our delivery is cross country, it would basically sit until there were more clients to fill the truck so the delivery is "worth it." So we weren't given any time estimate. We were left to wait, with no information. I called many times just to get an ETA of our stuff. CS reps weren't helpful. I was CC'd in an email, which I kept following up on with no success after being told "they should respond today or tomorrow." I called twice more and was told, "I should've read the contract about delivery." Which I did, but now the time has been longer than stated in the contract, regardless of the verbal "week delivery" that brought us to choose Atlantic. After nearly a month, we finally found our stuff was in transit. With NO notifications. In addition, we are military and needed the truck to be weighed. This was agreed upon over the phone several times before pick-up and then again after. We later find that this was not relayed to our delivery driver who had no idea. CS said it was our fault and that we "should've got it WRITING." Upset at the run-around and utter lack of communication from Atlantic, the same CS rep who gave my boyfriend a hard time told him," THIS IS WHY WE DON'T WORK WITH MILITARY. BECAUSE THEY'RE A PAIN IN THE A**." We were shocked but at this point, the CS was to be expected. They go through 3rd parts movers and storage so they claim they can't help outside of their "scope." Absolutely, do not use this company in any way shape or form. 2/25/2022 I was quoted by their sales rep, Richard. I gave him a very detailed itemized lists and measurements of everything I was moving. From that list, he provided me a quote, and ensured me the space he reserved would be sufficient for all of the items on my list. I was told my moving date would be any day in the week of March 7 - 11, and that someone would call a week prior to confirm. I had let Richard know I needed an advance notice because I live in another state. He says, "No worries, we'll let you know." March 4 I get ZERO calls, no moving day to confirm. March 5, Nothing March 6, a Sunday morning I call, no answer, the office is closed. Sunday Afternoon I find Richards number and call him. I reach him, he says he'll make sure someone calls me back right away. Later that evening around 6 p.m., someone finally calls. They let me know that my moving date is confirmed for 8 am the next morning in Cali, and I am in Texas. a 14 hour notice to fly in! A moving company name Rhino Moving Company shows up, Atlantic subbed the deal out to another company. That company showed up said I was SCAMMED by Atlantic because everything on the list was not going to cover the space in the truck. They quoted me an additional $17,000 on top of the $5,000 I was already quoted. I called Atlantic and the quality assurance individual had told me to hand the phone to the foreman. Whatever Atlantic said to the foreman pissed him off so much, he stormed off and LEFT! I have now been fighting with Atlantic Moving Co. for a refund, but they refused to give me one because they say that I sent the foreman away, that I am at fault! Their customer service women, Amanda is absolutely useless. Her manager Wesley, is even worse. They just want to argue with you all day. I had asked Wesley to investigate. He said he would call me back three days later. 2 weeks went by and I had to call. They can't even earn 2 stars on Better Business Bureau and they are not an accredited business! I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. I contacted Atlantic Moving and they told me they needed a two day window to arrive, but they usually come the preferred day of moving. Well, they didn't. We had to work day and night to be ready for the move from Texas to Iowa because they informed me a couple days before they would be coming the day before the preferred date. Atlantic subcontracted to A2Z Moving, Inc, a company registered in Flemington, New Jersey. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT let these yahoos touch your stuff. So much stuff arrived broken or missing. They don't care about your property. The worst was the display cabinet with 6 shelves. All 6 shelves were either missing or broken. Then they had the nerve to take 2 of the broken shelves and place them in a blanket. I just paid to have the broken shelves replaced - $368.08. The $2500 display cabinet is worthless without shelves. I sent in a claim for that with all the other broken or missing items. I was offered a measly $68. I refused to take it so I can leave open the opportunity to sue these jerks. I would give them a negative 5 star review if I could. To add insult to injury, another subcontracted moving company showed up the day we preferred, but we were never notified they would come our preferred day. BEWARE anyone looking to move your house hold stuff with these shady people. They are cheaters and flecce you for every penny and overcharge you for items that are already present in your quote. They are not responsive to user complaints and try to pawn off the responsibility to the carrier. They are not a real end to end moving company like other reputable companies like pods and upack. Instead they are just a call center front end with a bunch of scrupulous agent trying to quote low prices for your move and get you to sign a contact on the phone and once that's done they are very irresponsible to resolve any conflicts. I had moved several times before with other carriers and never had this issue before. THESE ARE THE WORST PEOPLE IN MOVING BUSINESS. DON'T WORK WITH THEM. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - FACT - they claim over the phone to be full service movers. They are only brokers. This means that after a truck collects your things they have no involvement FACT - they hire terrible people to drive for them. The company they hired to pick up our things has told me they are under no obligation to give us an eta. It has been 21 business days. FACT - they have NO authority to make binding estimates given that the movers they hire can and will charge whatever they want upon arrival FACT - AMC has hired and continues to hire review farms to pad their ratings. If you want proof, go look at the empty profiles of those who recommend them. our experience has been a nightmare. One of their team members (since fired) promised us a 2-3 day cross state delivery and a binding quote of 5800$. They claimed to be full service movers over the phone and that the drivers were their own. As you can guess none of this was true. A company i had not been acquainted with arrived to my house called Perfect Van Lines to move my things. I assumed i had misread something and continued with the process. They proceeded to tell me i actually owed another 3k bringing to total to nearly 9thousand. I was moving from Colorado and needed to be on the road already so i agreed to pay it justifying that it was worth it if my things would arrive on time, which this new company assured me of. It has been 21 business days. Since then the hired moving company has told me they have no obligation to give me and eta and that in my contract are provisions for a 30 business day delivery date. They will not tell me where my things are located and i have no guarantee i will ever receive them. When i called AMC for help to explain that without our freezer the 3000 ounces of breastmilk for my 3 month old would perish, they suggested i fraud amazon. And i quote, "Well Amazon has a 30 day no questions asked return policy. Just buy one from there and when your stuff arrives you can send it back." The Shane you see lauded in reviews by bot accounts has no real power to help either. we used this company on our move last fall only to find out they are a brokerage. They subbed out our move to Arena Movers without our knowledge. Had we known this we would have went somewhere else. We had nothing but problems with this company, from them contacting us about their arrival time to all the damage they did to our belongings and our new home. We have to fix dents in the walls, doors, and scratches in the floors. All the walls are going to need repainted after repairing. They was severe damage our furniture, plus the broken pieces (some that were old or handmade and cannot be replaced). We were handled by a Relocation Specialist named Jordan Davis who promised us relocation services that were not the real service you are paying for. Only to find out that none of the things that was relayed to us were true. The tactic is to lure you into contracting with this company but the actual outcome of the move will be totally different and the worst decision we ever made. First, we booked our moving services with this company Mid September for a Move-in date at our new house for November 1st. [Over a Month in advance] The reason being we needed to plan ahead was because we are a family of 4 with the youngest being 3 months old. Yes! We have a baby. Planning our move was critical as we have furniture/baby items that were important to have as soon as we arrive at our new house. Jordan saw the list of our inventory: CRIB, CHANGING TABLE, BOXES THAT WOULD DEFINITELY HAVE BABY ITEMS -- SPECIALIZED BABY FORMULA (that were insurance covered because they are very expensive), DIAPERS, and he still continued to guarantee us that our items will arrive at our scheduled move-in date. Not at any point in that conversation did he bother to inform us that there is a possibility that we wont get our items delivered on our move in date. (How inconsiderate!) Because to him, he was more concerned of closing the sale, even if it meant to put us in great inconvenience (we had to buy all of our baby's necessities while waiting for the delivery to arrive - an unnecessary expense out of our pockets because again we were led to believe we will have our items on the date we needed them). He scheduled our inventory pick up a week prior to our move in date. This company's actual terms and conditions of their service states that it may take up to 30 business days to deliver your stuff. SO BEWARE! Do not believe any of their sales people in leading you to believe otherwise. Even if they verbally commit to you, it wont be honored because they will just tell you the contract says this and that. We found all this out on the day we got to Florida, November 1 our move in date. The company refused to compensate us for the inconvenience and the expenses we incurred especially the baby's needs! Not only did they deceived us to believe that they will deliver on time, there were more! We had a Ducati Sport Bike included in our list of inventory to be delivered. We were guaranteed that our items will be handled with great care. We agreed to trust them in transporting the bike because we were assured that nothing will be put on top of the bike for care and avoidance of damage. (We paid a hefty amount of cubic feet just for the bike alone) You basically pay for every cubic feet your items occupy in a truck (okay, fair!) HOWEVER, it was definitely a scam. The transporting company they assigned to us had tactics to pick up our items with a truck and movers who will put your items in a way where it will look like you occupied more cubic feet to charge you more money during the pick up. When our items arrived, it was smooshed together and in a completely different truck!!! YES! They moved our items including the sport bike. NEVER DID JORDAN EVER MENTIONED ANY OF THIS TO US. Boxes were placed on top of the bike, furniture beside it that caused scratches, parts of the bike damaged, and more. Some of our boxes contained computers and laptops that arrived damaged! screen monitors were cracked despite us writing FRAGILE on the box. One box was cracked open when it was delivered to us, which tells us that they handled our items with NO CARE whatsoever. All the movers kept telling us was "there is insurance to cover the damages" -- Well, this was not the promised service we paid for. All we wanted was to be able to get our items in good condition. The Changing Table was broken and no longer functional. We witnessed the mover pushed our king size mattress off the truck and let it drop on the floor and in the process hitting our parked SUV. IT WAS A DISASTER. ---- This review is not the only thing we are doing. It will be taken to legal measures and sharing this experience to be a good citizen and warn all potential customers. This was a headache we would not want for others to experience especially families who have children. Our items got delivered on November 15, 2021. DO NOT USE, BROKER COMPANY The salesperson, Michael, was very persistent & would call me two times in a row, text, & email. Michael bombarded my phone regularly until I was able to give him a call back. He was very rushed on the phone & a classic salesman. I specifically told him that pods & 18 wheelers are not allowed on the property I am moving to so it would have to be on a smaller truck - he said no problem, it won't be an issue. He used scam tactics to rush me to sign & put a deposit down. I called customer service a month later & Amanda confirmed that yes, all deliveries are done from an 18 wheeler. I explained that I specifically told Michael that was not allowed & he said it wouldn't be delivered on an 18 wheeler - he said yes to pretty much everything just to get a sale. Wednesday (10/20), I received a voicemail from Amanda confirming that my movers will be arriving on Friday between 9-12 & that the driver would call an hour before pick up. Three hours after that I received multiple phone calls (but no voicemails) & a text message from someone stating they were from Empire Moving Company & they would be arriving on Thursday, not Friday. On Thursday (10/21), I waited for a call from the driver from 9-11 and still hadn't heard anything, I called Atlantic moving co to confirm Thursday was indeed the correct date and Amanda confirmed yes it was but the pick up time was pushed back to 12:30-2 - which no one notified me about. I received a call at 1:30 from the driver stating that he would be arriving between 2-2:30. He didn't show up until 3 & no one was wearing a mask. The driver, Sol, immediately began frantically asking me questions, mumbling, & walking around so quickly I couldn't finish answering one question before he would ask another. When he came into my apartment he said it would cost more because he could visually see that we had more items than the cubic feet we had originally agreed upon.He stated that the packing & material cost would be $500 - 600 extra. No one tells you when you call for a quote that this is always an extra cost for packing/materials. I told him that was too much & he "texted his boss" to get it down to $255. He began bad mouthing the original moving co. I asked him if I would get a receipt/contract if I pay cash, he said yes. We agreed to the discount price but didn't draw up a new contract to sign before packing (likely so they could charge us more after packing). He asked us if we had any packing paper for our dishes, when we said no he asked if we would go to the store & buy some!! He asked my disabled partner "what was wrong with him" & made inappropriate comments. He started tossing glass items into a box without wrapping them & at that point my partner & I were at our breaking point. We told him to stop & he tried to convince us to continue but we said a firm no. He left & called me shortly after rambling & talking so fast that I couldn't understand a single thing he said. I called Atlantic moving co again & spoke with Amanda. When I brought up my concerns she said "packing materials aren't included in your estimate" but if it isn't specified prior to signing how is anyone supposed to know that it will be extra? I brought up that their company was a broker & she changed the conversation saying she could "get me a deal" on the extra cost. She said that movers don't bring a variety of supplies because they don't know what they are packing & towards the end of the call her attitude changed once she realized I wasn't going to ask them to come back & told me I won't be getting my money back. Beware at all costs. When I first called them I was given an estimate of $2,934 to move from MN to California. I then went and got some reviews and decided to ask some questions I am glad I did. I talked with Scott who I then sent a full inventory list. Scott decided to start manspaning things to me and when I said I just need his number became so offensive I cant even being to write his words. I am so glad to find out who exactly they are before I entered into a contract with them. I was now told $20K for the move. Quite a difference from the initial call. Do yourself a favor find someone else. UPDATE 5/25: I did have the ability to speak with the operations manager Shane. He apologized for the behavior of the previous agent. He was very nice and understanding and helped give me a quote. If you are lucky to get Shane then you are in a good place. I received a call this morning where no voicemail was left. I called the number back and it was another agent from this company. Unfortunately he was not Shane and I was greeted with the same hostility and rudeness. I then got a call from Shane and told him what I encountered and he was really apologetic and honestly Shane is trying his best just with a group of some really terrible hostile people. Atlantic subbed to a company called Best moving. Boxes and Totes smashed. Inspite of being marked fragile.  Broken. Lamps broken. Lamp shades smashed.. Lost all legs to a $2000 table dining room set.  It's a joke. It wasn't the guys who packed my stuff. It was transit and storage.  took about a month for the goods to arrive. No care at all. I spent almost $12k for this move. Insurance is weight, not the items actual worth. I begged them for help to find the legs of the table. They just kept saying put in a claim. NO ASSISTANCE AT ALL. End of story.  I can not say how many times I was told what good care it all would be.  Absolute fiction.   I expected some things broken. I have moved for Military and work more than a few times. Most horrific experience of my life. I am still waiting on insurance info so I can submit a claim. This company is not a moving company at all. They sub out 100% of their moves. You have no clue who will be moving you. Also, I paid several thousand dollars to Atlantic Moving prior to when the movers showed up. They proceeded to load everything I owned and then said I had to pay them cash. They said they received nothing from Atlantic Moving. I have still not received the money I gave to Atlantic Back - it's been over a year. The FBI arrested people from the actual moving company, but there is no restitution there for me as their company is out of business. Atlantic Moving still has not done one thing or even contacted me back. This has truly been the absolute worst experience of my life. My worst moving experience ever. Showed up late and dropped off late. I am including images of some of the damaged furniture, plastic bins, missing nd the condition of many of the boxes. Additionally boxes marked fragile and boxes clearly marked "This side up" were unloaded in every direction imaginable other than "up". If furniture was actually covered for the move it was taken off the truck uncovered. Based off the mildew on some of the labels, I can only imagine how and where my furniture was stored before it was delivered. One of the movers was unloading the truck with one hand while chatting on the phone (using speaker) and leaving almost all of the heavy lifting to his partner. This of course did not stop him from continually haggling for a tip throughout the whole process. I had 90 days to file a claim for any damages and they have refused to respond. Now I know why they do not accept credit cards. I am sure people have disputed their fees and won. read more

They subcontract their moves with people who can't speak English well (Russian speakers) and try to rip off the customer with unforeseen expenses. All my daughter needed was to have 14 medium sized boxes, a cedar chest and a chest of drawers moved from St. Louis, MO to Houston, TX. I tried to help my daughter by finding an inexpensive mover (that doesn't exist) to move the items on a truck where we could bundle the move with other people moving items to Houston. My daughter wasn't in any hurry for the items. I paid $739 as a down payment and my ex- husband paid $800. The quote I received from Atlantic Moving Company was for a total of $2,096.00. The rest of the amount, approx. $600, was to be collected upon delivery. Here is the e-mail my daughter received on 6/25/22 from some guy named Max: Good afternoon, We would like to inform you that your shipment is scheduled for delivery, and look forward to hearing from dispatch with more accurate time of arriving, and updates. We apologize for delays with delivery. I know that what we are about to mention is just a word, but we don't want you to think that we have used a negligent approach in conducting business with you. We had issues with trucks with no replacement parts to keep up with maintenance, we started renting, then rental took all trucks away due to excessive mileage use ( sound that it makes no sense - but all information you can check yourself), then I start going out to participate with deliveries using Uhaul due to uhaul have a policy to not give one way rental, then dispatch left company, while I was on the road, they felt uncertainty, We trying to purchase the truck, but there is line of waiting, so this is what is going on behind the scene. We understand your concern and just inform you as it is, the only option we have. They called my daughter on 6/30/22 letting her know that they would arrive on 7/1 at 7:00 p.m. They arrived at 6:30 p.m. I had forewarned my ex-husband, who happens to be an attorney, and given him copies of everything so he could be at my daughter's apartment when the moving men arrived. The moving men tried to intimidate my daughter, before her father arrived, into signing a contract (no paper copy) on one of their phones. Of course, she declined and said she was waiting for her father to arrive to talk with the men. When my ex-husband arrived, the men tried to bully him into signing the contract. When he wouldn't because he couldn't see what he was signing, they tried to extract more money from him. He said, "Here is $600. Take it or leave it. Get my daughter's belongings out of your truck right now." After trying to haggle with my ex-husband, the movers realized it was pointless, put my daughter's possessions on the curb, and drove away. They couldn't even be bothered to bring her things into her first floor apartment so my daughter and ex-husband brought the contents in themselves. I am still furious this morning! I will report Atlantic Moving Company to the Better Business Bureau and whatever entity I need to to have them shut down. TOTAL SCAMMERS!! read more

Make sure you get a great Air Mattress!! First and foremost, do yourself a favor and READ the reviews on Google, Better Business Bureau, and Yelp or any other reputable platform. They will be eye OPENING. (Spoiler they are rated a C- and NOT BBB accredited). As a side note, DO NOT look at the reviews on their website at the time of this review only 3 of the 14 they showcased still exist on Google! To that point, it is my opinion that they manufacture their own 5-star reviews as I have watched their review count lose over 30 reviews in the past month and half. (That is how long we have been waiting for our stuff!) I wish I would have done all this before choosing this company for my move. I originally spoke to Kyle who provided a quote for me. I told him roughly how much Cubic Feet I had as my brother use to be in the business. Kyle did not ask me for a detailed inventory, more on that later. Kyle gave me the lowest quote out of the movers I spoke to. I should have listened to the adage of "you get what you pay for". They are a BROKER, which is fine, and I understood that. The movers, Luxury Logistics, LLC out of Northern, NJ for fun check their reviews too, especially their rock bottom NR rating on BBB) showed up September 27th, 2022, for the move. Luxury Logistics does not have a google business, maybe smart by them since it would be ONE star. They immediately said, "you have more Cubic Feet than on the inventory", according to them 50% more. Of course, they would not start the move if I did not sign the paperwork to increase my move by $2,500. At this point, I suppose it is a matter of opinion, but I find it hard to believe it was off by 50%. If they respond to this review, I imagine one of the things they will say is you did not change the inventory or provide a detailed inventory list. Fair point, but I was also not prompted by Kyle, the "professional" relocation specialist to do so. In addition, I was also not prompted with how certain items should be packaged, for example I was forced to buy more boxes. FYI their customer service will say YOU the CUSTOMER should have known, and you signed the contract. Eventually the items were loaded on the truck, although not everything, and they were on the way back to their warehouse. My first available date for delivery was September 28th, 2022. Kyle, the relocation specialist, told me that October 1st should not be a problem for delivery. Of course, that did not happen. When I spoke to customer service, they just referenced the contract again and again. I completely understand that most transactions are governed by the signed contract in place, but there is also something called CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had multiple calls in the previous weeks and basically the same response. "They are working on routing your move" Now at this point to be fair, I may not have been the nicest on every phone call I made to them. I will own up to that. It took a total of 46 days for our items to be delivered. The delivering truck and team, led by Joel were great. Although, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised because he was a third party not associated with anyone else in the move. As a side note, Atlantic will tell you they are broker, so they have no skin in the game when you are trying to get your stuff from the mover. WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! We hired them to relocate from Oregon to Florida in October of 2021. It took over 60 days to get only 60% of our items as they contracted out our move to 11Movers- Horrible service, horrible accountability, horrible communication, horrible tricks as they never follow up, lie to you about contracting out the job to "F" rated contractors (11Movers). DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Terrible management who acts sleepy and tired when you call, NEVER responds or does what they say- They truck you READ THE FINE PRINT. Atlantic Moving Co takes 40% of your money upfront to only contract out to 11Movers who then takes 2-months and charges you 200% more than the original deal. They hold you hostage as well and make you happy they delivered your items late 2-months late and only 60% of your stuff! Other stuff broken and damaged and smashed and ripped and torn and dirty. The only reason Atlantic is worth 1 star is because the actual moving company was great. But other than that it is the worst moving experience I have ever had. I booked 2 moves with them not knowing that the first one would be a complete mess. Without going into the deep issues, what I learned is that the problems stemmed from Atlantic not clearly communicating, to the moving companies or to me. The movers didn't know the limitations and requirements I requested (so I had to go through them multiple times) and then when the move had to be rescheduled. Atlantic scheduled 2 different moving companies, didn't tell me and then I was contacted the day after my items were picked up by another company saying they were coming to get them. I was confused because things had already been picked up. Atlantic hadn't even been managing my move, that they claim is what they do. Next, I was told by Atlantic my items would arrive within 2 weeks & I was clear with them I would need 5 days' notice for delivery since I don't live there. After 3 weeks I followed up with Atlantic who had no idea where my things were. A few days later they told me they were going to arrive in 48hrs (not following my request) and then I was called by the mover 3 hrs later to say they would be arriving in 12hrs. When this was done, I called Atlantic & said I wanted to cancel my other move & get my money back because it was the worst moving experience I have dealt with & that their service of "managing" my move was abominable. They said they would have finance follow up. A MONTH later I get a call saying they want to confirm the contents of my other move that was happening in a couple of days. When I said I cancelled & wanted my money back they said they have a 72hr cancellation policy from contract signature (before the first move even happened) & won't give it to me. I was cancelling because of service, not because I changed my mind about needing to move items. But they stand firm in their cancellation policy, which was likely set up because of people finding cheaper prices and cancelling. But maybe it is because they are the worst service provider ever. AVOID! This moving company is a SCAM! When originally speaking to them, I provided the exact measurements of my furniture and belongings. They gave me a great quote, which I accepted. I was told the movers would arrive between 4-6 pm, but was not provided any additional details. Well, the movers arrived at 12:30pm and were in a hurry. I was told the estimate was incorrect and the actual price was more than double! The movers refused to load my stuff until I paid. When I called Atlantic team, I was told they would not be able to find other movers. I was stuck and forced to pay double what I originally agreed to. They guaranteed me that hey will be responsible for anything lost or damaged (In writing) They lost a box of gaming equipment and a ton of damaged boxed. First, I doubt they are company and they don't deserve any star. There are simply broker and provide no service/help, take no responsibility. However they are very good in giving randon and cheap quote and will take about $1000 in deposit on very first day you call them. After this you are on your own. I was moving from mid-west to West. In my case, another moving company came to pick up stuff and gave me his own quote. And then yet another company who dropped off. I am just happy I got my stuff after 4 weeks. Terrible company - won't return my $900 deposit. Quoted me ~$2700 for move, then demanded $7500 when they showed up. Took my $900 deposit and refused to give it back. Before move I spent over 1 hr with their rep creating a complete inventory of all goods to be moved, they calculated sqf, then claimed I had 3x that when they showed up & demanded immediate payment. This company scammed my wife out of $3695. We had a closing on June 1 at 1 PM. We had a contract signed with beacons to move us and then we got a call from Atlantic moving to move us and no more than $8000 to Tennessee. My wife called me at work and told me we could save $2000 by using Atlantic moving out of the Miami area. She wired them a check for $3695 to start the process. When the movers came at 4:30 memorial day they came in and gave us a new estimate of $14,000. My wife at that time knew she had been scammed and was literally having a nervous break down because she believed everything these Con artist told her. Terrible company and costumer service. If I could I would leave 0 stars. I used this company to move from Long Island to the Tampa area. I was informed I was 1of 4 families going into a moving truck. I was the first to load up and then third to be dropped off in Florida. The pick up crew was friendly and accommodating. After that I don't understand what happened. The delivery was only 5 days, HOWEVER they scratched my motorcycle that was covered by tons of moving blankets. To make matters wore after sorting through the boxes we found that the company had lost a bunch of our boxes during the moving processes. I reached out to the the company they told me to fill out insurance forms. I received confirmation that they received the letter and we are waiting for answers. It's been weeks. Not only did we lose multiple boxes of valuables but also many sentimental possessions. For anyone looking for a moving company look somewhere else. read more

This is a notice to anyone who has been given the name Atlantic Moving Co. from Delray Beach, Florida as a credible moving company a "BIG" heads up. First off they are not a moving company but a broker that leads you to believe they are a moving company and also that they only use 5 star rated moving companies. A representative named Jordan Davis worked with me on a move from Oregon to South Carolina. He was very convincing and very quick to not give you time to read the "binding estimate" so he could get you the best price. HE IS VERY CONVINCING ! That is because it is the add on items that come when the move is being done that nails you. "ALWAYS READ AND UNDERSTAND THE BINDING ESTIMATE, ALL OF IT !" My daughter and her three young girls spent 30 days waiting for the furniture delivery. The first available delivery date you give them is the starting date of a 30 day period they have to deliver. I called every day and only got the run around about the shipping date and delivery. excuses like Covid, no drivers and the contract I signed. They used a company with a one star rating named West Coast Relocation Systems from Las Vegas Nevada. A one star company for sure. I signed an estimate for 1800CF and the truck that showed up was a 1700CF. The drivers were ok but they had about 100CF of moving supplies with them. Before loading all of my belongings they loaded the supplies and left several of my items off due to no more room. My complaining fell on deft ears. Please do not use these two companies as you will be very unhappy if you do. Once you sign the bill of lading with the second or third company in line Atlantic Movers will act like they have nothing to do with your move. The price for my move was nearly 15,000 for a full 26ft Budget moving truck with 1800CF. They sent a 1700CF truck and refuse to refund anything for the 100CF I had paid for.
