What I appreciated most about my recent experience with Public Storage is the ease of getting into a unit. It was Sunday afternoon and needed to sort something out ASAP. I went online, looked at locations nearby to find the best price and distance for the size I needed. The site was easy to navigate and I choose a locations. I reserved the spot. A few moments later I got a message to get the app and fill out some paperwork. I filled it out easily and and completed the purchased for the space. Not knowing what would happen next I drove over to the the location to drop of stuff. No one was in the office... uh oh. There was a sign on the door that said sign into your app and get all the things you need. Within moments, I had the code to the gate, went to my unit, there was some paperwork on the insurance I got and a lock to lock the unit. ALL AUTOMATED and simple and easy. Nice work Public Storage. Thanks for not over complicating a simple thing as a box to put my stuff in.

They said they would put me back on the $45/month plan bc that was what I agreed on - then without me knowing or agreeing they switched it to $75/month the next month. Now they've raised it to $95/month. They've doubled the price in less than a year. No one is EVER on site and the 1 time I try to visit my unit to move my stuff out, the key I received to my lock does not work. The property manager never answers the phone. I leave voicemail after voicemail and never receive a response either. The only time I received a call back was months back when I complained about it being raised from $45 to $75 and I've never received a message or call back since (and I called multiple times when I found out they were raising it again, and never received a response).

well. it appears cubesmart has as good a district manager as well as their store managers…read more i was expecting a call from someone but nothing. they obviously don't want my business nor do they care about their customers. i've been using public storage for years and decided to give cubesmart a chance. back to public storage update*** their district manager called me to apologize. absolutely no accommodations for my inconvenience. they have no idea what it means to have a happy customer... update i was promised that lighting would be available over my unit today,saturday. i was there at 4pm and guess what? no lights! i pay for lights and i have to use a flashlight to find my things. i am appauled that i wasnt offered something to make this right. my daughter told me today that shes with cubesmart, i had no idea. its south of me. this is her last month. when i get the truck to move my stuff, im moving hers too. this company will never get a dime from me.

The hurricane has passed north of my location and this company decides to shut down the entire state of Florida. I received (4) email communications from this company regarding the storm. (1) Your site is locked down. (2) Please disregard your site is not locked down. (3) Redundant disregard your site is not locked down. (4) Your site and the entire state is locked down. This company cannot be trusted when planning a logistics exercise using their services. Previously my review was five star review and I just re-edited it down to a two star. I do not tolerate working with companies that don't understand how their communications negatively impact me as a consumer.
