Cindy walked us around the property & explained all the deets on each breed of tree/shrub. Answered so many questions - NEVER pushing a sale on us. We settled on 2 qty "3-4 footers" which were actually more like 5-6 (they measure the trunk for 3-4') and these 'baby' trees had great fronds on top. It's AMAZING to know that a 6-8 foot palm (sabal & many others) is around 50-years old???!!! We paid $180 ea, which IMHO was a fair price for this size tree. You can get install for $200/tree (may vary depending on tree size & delivery) and they had a $150 warranty per tree but that's avail. only if you purchase the install - it can add up fast, but we did have to ask 4 cross-fit friends to come help us move them - heavy root ball!

Brad told us that he would not warranty the tree and it would be another $500 for a new one and $200 for removal of the old one. 4 of the bushes also look not well and it's questionable if they will make it or not. In addition, he tried to blame our irrigation system on the tree-death; which he also installed and it doesn't go anywhere near the tree. Call me crazy, but if someone just dropped $40K worth of work on my business, I'm going to warranty a $500 tree, no questions asked. Poor business on your part Brad. There's plenty of other options here in the area to choose from, you won't get our support going forward.

I noticed the wood felt heavier than normal seasoned wood and decided to burn some. To my disbelief, it didn't burn! I reached out to Jesse and he defended that it had been kiln dried. So I checked the moisture content. 28 - 50 % moisture in several logs I tested. I checked it against what I had left from last year and it was at 6 - 8 % moisture. Needless to say, Jesse refused to accept the fact he delivered freshly split wood and denied it being "not seasoned" even after I showed him. Maybe he had an off day or maybe he thought his kiln was "on" when it was "off"? All I know is he wouldn't make it right, kept my money and refused to acknowledge he delivered green wood.

When I called the office and told them the sod was falling to pieces, Amber (the girl who answers the phone) could have cared less. She made no apology or concession. I also told her their sod rolls were in the cages they provided for storage and were ready for pick up. She told me I would have to bring them back in order to get my refund. I asked why they wouldnt pick them up and she said they would if they were in the area but they had no plans to do so and they were our responsibility. The other 2 sod companies we buy from have no problem picking up our pallets & rolls for us. We have purchase $6000.00 worth of sod from them this year which is NOT a lot for a company, but imagine if I were a home owner and received this kind of treatment? Would you buy from them or recommend them to your friends? I think not...
