These windows are huge, and had not been replaced since the mill was converted to condos in the '80's. I did go out and get 3 quotes from 3 different vendors, but Seacoast was the best quote, the most honest, wonderful people, and they bent over backwards to help. It was a dirty, complicated project made more complex by the difficulties of the tariff war. John was tireless in tracking down the Harvey windows and special trim that had to match the custom exterior trim color of the other existing windows in the building. John kept me updated regularly, and accommodated every wish the condo associated made concerning schedule and safety in the common areas. We had several other contractors who told us wehad to replace the entire side of the house, even though it appeared the damagewas in one specific area. Rorrie said they could fix it without having to rip everythingout. We had a few calls before the work was done where he explained everything in greatdetail (and with great patience). The work itself is complete, and the siding looks great. Theypulled back the areas that needed work, replaced the plywood that was rotted,and even helped buttress some of the framing. They then covered everything backup and repainted. At the end, they also walked around the house to point outany potential things to watch out for or that need attention. Not happy with my gutter installation. They put one of the down spouts facing a different direction…read morethan I requested, which was important to me because it was to redirect water away from an issue I was having. So I emailed them about it and they replied saying they will come back in a couple days to fix it...no show. Then I followed up with another email and they said sorry and they will swing by tomorrow..NO SHOW AGAIN. So they stopped caring about me after I paid them. That is BAD business. And on top of that they must have done a lazy install because the gutters make LOUD vibration noises every time it is slightly windy outside and it has woken me and my baby up from sleep multiple times. I wish I went with the company that gave me a higher price instead. Would not recommend!
