Michael Wright was a phenomenal professional we worked with to accomplish our roof installation…read moreproject. He was well prepared and knowledgable, educating us on all their products and services in a clear and concise way. No one else in this industry was as transparent and had the paperwork and referrals to back their stelar reputation. I've had some bad experiences with other roofing companies. So, it was immediately clear to me I was in good hands. They even communicated often with us, checking in to see if we had questions and letting us know when the products were going to be delivered. I felt confident and comfortable working with them and I would hire them again when my next roofing project comes up.

We had a rough time with all weather exteriors…read more -non NH crew (subcontracted out of Massachusetts, we went with NH company to have NH workers)) -poor workmanship (flashing not done correctly) -a lot of "that's the way roofs are done" type of gaslighting. When problems were pointed out. -items we asked to be avoided weren't respected (asked our flat roof to not be walked on, soft spots, and they used it as staging ) Over all very disappointed with this company. Got told I didn't know how flashing was supposed to look, and got gaslighted into just saying "ok" and paying because fixing items was a hassle. "It's a 100 year old house" -yes we know. We're trying to make it better but it definitely felt like we were judged on this aspect, and were treated as such.

You ever have a basement window just....sporadically shatter for no apparent reason? Well,…read moreevidently this is just a thing that randomly occurs in this part of town. The last time I had glass shatter spontaneously was back in '24 when our winter storm door screen was completely pulverized by the summer heat, it seems (Pro-life tip: swap out your storm door screens in the summer with mesh ones). On the back of that unforeseen devastation, out went my mass inquiries to all the local shops servicing the Nashua area. Out of maybe 5 (?), 3 responded almost instantly. One sent a quote so high, I was half tempted to reply and ask if I could have some of whatever they were smoking. Another replied with what seemed to be a promising rate, but there was one problem. Their communication was severely intermittent to the point where they inexplicably ghosted me faster than a recruiter responding to a job applicant. Ultimately, I settled on Good Window Works. They offered a fair quote, were easy to get ahold of, and even provided a COI statement as per the request of our housing board. For those unaware, a COI is a Certificate of Insurance. Basically, it's assurance to the board that the contractor in question is insured to complete the job without creating a liability if they, say....jam their thumb beneath a tack hammer or something. With those formalities out of the way, the job was simple enough: Replace the half of the basement window that abruptly disintegrated. All in all, the job took roughly 2 hours. In the end, the window he installed was so transparent, it looked like there was no pane at all in the frame. But no--the glass was just THAT pristine! I don't say this often, but....experiences like these are what I love most about being a Yelp writer. So rarely do I get to be in the position to not only promote another hard working local business, but also pose as the microcosmic advertising vehicle that just might serve as the prompt some very fortunate individual needs to go, "Yeah, I'm hiring this place to work on my house". If you're wondering whether you should hire these guys for your next installation or repair job, the answer is likely yes. Good Window Works is worth 5 window panes clearer than thin air out of 5.

Only Good Windows responded and sent someone out to do an estimate. They just finished the job. The original estimate was done from the ground, however when the technician was able to get the unit out of the frame, (This is an old style window), we both saw that additional work had to be done. The tech did the work and did an excellent job. It was only a bit more over the original estimate, but quite reasonable. I highly recommend Good Window Works.

I am writing this for all of the homeowners who are skeptical because of the lack of online reviews…read morefor this company. I had many window companies come out to quote my project, coming in a wide variety of prices and quality. Andersen, Okna, Alside, etc. Chuck DeRossi was one of the more knowledgeable salesmen that I encountered, having worked for Harvey previously. He is also one of the more honest. He made some recommendations based on his experience without overselling me on things I neither wanted or needed. While I was initially a little nervous to order because of the lack of online reviews, Chuck provided me with a long list of references that RAVED about his services. So we ordered, and the windows arrived quicker than expected and install was scheduled a few days later. The installers were polite, professional, and quick, installing my 9 double hung windows in around 4/5 hours. They insulated and caulked around the new windows and cleaned up when finished. After calling Chuck about a minor issue (ended up being user error), he immediately came out to check on it and answer any questions I had. The Harvey Classic windows look absolutely fantastic and were exactly what I was hoping for. All in all, the project was finished within my budget and quicker than expected. If you are looking for a local, reliable and reasonably priced window contractor, I would definitely recommend DeRossi Classic Home Specialists.
