I hired…read moreBrian to redo my kitchen, but in the meantime, I started uncovering issues that were covered up by the previous homeowner. :( Although this was a difficult time and I was concerned that I was not going to be able to handle the stress and the finances, Brian put my mind at ease. He is literally able to do ANYTHING. He is basically a house god- in my opinion. Plumbing. Electric. Demo. Painting. Construction. He did it all, with reasonable prices. Here is a list of what he has done for me over the past month. I am sure I missed some, but you can get the picture! Kitchen -Pulled out old cabinets and replaced them in kitchen - Wood paneling on wall removed, sanded, repainted -kitchen redesigned -added dishwasher and garbage disposal -moved vent - rewired entire kitchen and found an outlet that was not directly to the box, fixed - crack in ceiling repaired, repainted Bathroom - new shut off valves in kitchen and bathroom - re-did entire plumbing system for shower to update and prevent leaking -re-piped bathroom sink (and took out the pipe in the wall to clean it for me- because of course the whole thing had clogged due to lack of care previously! ) - installed new encasing for the bathroom shower -added insulation to wall -added ceiling fan - new shower nozzles, etc Basement - removed sink that was leaking -drained and filled well system that had been overflowing and attached to sink - fixed piping that was rusting, leaking -shut off water sources that were un-needed - rewired basement and updated outlets that were out of date and electric boxes that were unsafe- made sure they were all directly going to the panel -replaced spicket and piping - removed old bulkhead and re-built and repaired seal- preventing water from entering my basement - rebuilt stairs by bulkhead - demo of my basement down to the studs, removed old insulation In addition to this, Brian and his coworker, Bill did many things as they went along, just to help out. For example, putting up my bathroom cabinet, and fixing my front screen. I would recommend Brian to anyone. Please don't take him the first week in November, though- I need him for another project! :)
