Do not go to this facility. They over charge for office visit. Went in because I had a horrible cough no voice and fever. Saw Dr Teresa Carlin she asked me what was wrong told her I could not speak had a terrible cough and congestion. She never looked in my ears, throat or checked for a fever. No strep test or Covid test done. She just said it was a summer cold and to take a nasal spray. I asked her to give me a prescription for antibiotic and cough and she told me to come back if I got worse. Thank god I did not or I would have been charged another $315.67 for a 10 minute office visit. My primary doctor doesn't even charge that amount for office visit. I called my regular Dr the next day and he called in medication and ordered chest xray to find out I had bronchitis with laryngitis. Tried to discuss bill with Atlantic care in Cape May and they are not responding. They said someone from office would get in touch and still have not heard back. I don't mind paying for a service but when the service was not done accurately and professionally. read more

Excellent care on July 4th when I thought I would never find an open facility! I woke up with an upper respiratory infection and having asthma that's a double whammy for me. The front office was super-- kind, courteous and concerned. They even advised me which pharmacies were open or closing early due to the holiday. The doctor really listened to my symptoms and my worries about its progression. I felt very cared for and relieved that I didn't have to suffer or go to the hospital. read more

The whole process from when we arrived to getting checked in, the nurse talking and taking care of my 3 year old and the nurse practitioner, was a lovely experience. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, my son was so comfortable and happy, it was quick and I felt like they really covered all the bases and got us taken care of. The wait wasn't bad, front desk was courteous . After that everything seems to go downhill . I had a lapse in my insurance & was paying in cash . I won't go into specifics . I'll just say I feel like it was a complete waste of my time AND MONEY ! I went to another urgent care and they were so helpful . When my insurance was in effect , I felt like there was a hint of doubt about why I was there ... like I just wanted an excuse . This happened more than once . AVOID!!! Had to bring our daughter here as we were on vacation. Received an incorrect bill....spoke at least 6 times to the billing department that the amount was paid and they confirmed they received the payment. Kept confirming, as I kept receiving bills....was told to ignore the bills as it took time for it to update in their system. Now months later I just received a notice from a COLLECTIONS AGENCY. Typically I am a positive and happy individual that loves people. Today I went to this office and was instantly treated like I interrupted a fancy dinner conversation. I can not remember in the last 45 yrs of my life feeling this terrible from being treated so low by another human being. Maybe it was the current emergency state I was feeling because I could not breathe that I was quickly irritated and upset by the receptionists behavior. I thought to myself how condescending and rude this woman was and to make sure I let the people who hired her that today she failed miserably with human patient care. About mid point of being treated so carelessmy, I lost my cool and used a profanity word which I knew wasn't kind however enough was enough and she needed to understand that she wasn't seeing the whole picture. When asked if I had insurance, it became even worse. I'd like to mention when asked why I came in I specifically told the receptionist that I was experiencing chest pain and having a terrible time breathing and that seemed to be getting rapidly worse. She began throwing out numbers and bombarding me with question after question with the most non compassionate tone. She had zero disregard for what I was experiencing and I began to cry which made my breathing much worse. I felt scared and unsure of what was happening so I let her know I had just moved here and I had not set anything up yet and I was having trouble answering the questions because the medical state I was in and apparently increasingly worse. She became extremely catty and Seemingly inpatient that my daughter took over the phone call for me. When she went to get me some water, the same receptionist rolled her eyes during her request I was later told. I do not have trouble in general with people and typically mind my own business. This receptionist however needs to understand it's more than greeting patients in her line of work and answering phones or discussing the last thing she ate for lunch. I'm leaving this review because thankfully my daughter made the decision to leave right away and take me to Wildwood Urgent care where she had gone before in the past. She was hesitant but seemed to be getting no where with this woman.When we arrived at the Wildwood location, the receptionists there recognized immediately something was terribly wrong and sought immediate attention for my condition. I am so thankful that my daughter knew in that moment to seek out a professional caring compassionate staff. Unfortunately they are affiliated and it only takes one bad apple or decision some times for things to take a turn for the worse. I was given immediate breathing treatment that alleviated my condition enough to calm down and get well. Everyone was was so caring and reassuring and most of all professional in all aspects. I didn't get the woman's name at the other office and frankly it's not my intention to blast her personal information however, I hope she never has to feel the way my daughter and I felt today initially by her lack of concern. Please remember as repetitive your line of work gets, you are dealing and caring for human beings. The receptionist is a part of this team whether or not directly treating the patient. The front office is the FIRST Impression and holds a very important role for the office and sets the tone for the rest of the appt for your coworkers. Thank you Wildwood Urgent care for helping me this early afternoon and Cape May Urgent Care, please address this issue with your staff for other people's sake and future appointments. read more

No one wants to have to visit a doctor's office while on vacation, but if you are in need of medical care, Cape May Atlanticare is excellent. Staff, Sharon and Christmeme, were professional, welcoming and helpful with our 7-year old patient-in-distress and Dr. Collins (sp?) was outstanding. The center is run efficiently, offers an broad array of services, and is convenient to Cape May and Wildwood. My family and I appreciated the outstanding, compassionate care, something that is often lacking in health care today. TC read more

Warning!! They don't do follow-up visits. But they don't tell you that! Each visit is treated as a new visit. Had an injury in June .. skin on leg had to be glued closed. I was billed $394. It wasn't healing & looked infected so I went back in July. I was given a tube of ointment and was billed another $394. So so so wrong! Do yourself a favor and go to a hospital emergency room instead. read more

I just went to the urgent care in Cape May. I did a telemed visit, because I was exposed on 12/26 and have had a cold, so I have existing symptoms and can't differentiate if they're symptoms from my cold or from covid. The doctor told me to come in to get tested. The doctor and the nurse I spoke to when scheduling both said that unless it's pouring, the nurse could come to my car since I was alone with a baby so I wouldn't have to bring him inside. When I arrived, I called to say that I was there. The receptionist, Sharon, answered and told me I needed to come in. I explained that I was told by the nurse that she would come out because I had a young baby and didn't want to bring him inside an urgent care where covid positive people come in. She said, "My nurse will not be coming outside in the rain." I instantly started crying and told her it was only drizzling at the moment. She told me, "You're messing with the wrong lady. You need to come inside or your appointment will be cancelled." I asked if I could stand by the door with an umbrella so that the nurse wouldn't need to come all the way out, but then I could still leave my son in the car. She again said that I was "messing with the wrong person." At this point I was sobbing because I'm already concerned that my baby had been exposed and now I'm being told I have no choice but to bring him inside an urgent care. The woman then said to me, "You need to stop crying and get inside now or I'm canceling your appointment and you won't be tested." At this point, I'm losing it and said, "Ma'am I understand, but I'm a single mom and I have no one to watch my baby until I know I'm not positive. I'm sorry but I'm frustrated because you're telling me I have to bring my baby inside a place where people test positive daily in the middle of a fucking pandemic." Me cursing, which was my own fault, but I was so upset and frustrated, set her off and she started yelling at me that if I didn't come inside now they wouldn't test me. So I got my son and went inside. While I sat there crying, waiting to be tested, she sat at the desk, loudly saying, "Saying the F word in front of your baby, some parent you are." I didn't say another word, got tested and left. The nurse that tested me was as nice as could be and fortunately, my results were negative. I know how stressed Urgent Care workers are right now, but the way Sharon spoke to me and treated me was unacceptable and put the health and safety of my baby on the line. Healthcare workers should show compassion to people who are worried about their lives and the lives of their loved ones. The non-compassionate should find another source of income. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. The woman at the front desk was so rude and couldn't have been more disinterested or unprofessional. It's also a box in terms of size. If you didn't have an illness going in, you may have one leaving. Don't go here if you are sick and looking for a sympathetic receptionist/ greeter or a comfortable waiting area. Go 9 minutes further to Cape Regional in Cape May county courthouse. 50 times better. read more
