Before booking anything, I texted this office directly to ask if they take Anthem Blue Cross for cleanings AND a sleep apnea mouthpiece. Their text back was crystal clear: "We do! And we do all of the above." (Check the screenshot attached). Any dentist offering sleep apnea devices knows these mouthpieces are covered under medical insurance, not standard dental insurance. They knew full well what I was asking for, yet they told me they covered it just to get me through the door. Are they that desperate for patients? I drove 45 minutes each way (an hour and a half round trip) for this appointment. It was only after they brought me back and put me in the chair that the dentist dropped the bomb: they don't actually bill medical insurance at all. To text-confirm "we do all of the above" under my insurance beforehand and then admit in the chair that they refuse to file medical claims is a blatant bait-and-switch. Instead, the dentist. last name Lapin, tried to play it off like no dentist bills medical insurance (only retired ones with nothing better to do), then pitched me an outrageous $5,000 to $6,000 cash price out-of-pocket. That is more than double what these custom devices normally cost. Luring someone into an appointment with false promises on insurance just to try to trap them into a massive cash bill in the chair is completely predatory. When I called them out on wasting my time, they were smug and dismissive. They waived the consultation fee, but didn't even bother to offer a basic apology for wasting almost two hours of my day and gas money due to their own line of BS. Do not trust what this office tells you over text or phone just to get you booked and in the door. Save yourself the headache and go to a real dentist who actually knows what they're doing and isn't incompetent, overpriced, rude, and arrogant.

Only to be made even more comfortable when Dr. Correa came in. I got a couple fillings that I've been very self conscious of (they're on my front teeth). Dr Sabrina Correa was incredibly helpful and responsive to all my concerns and worries. I don't know how she did it but my teeth haven't ever looked this good. I had brought in my schedule of benefits and that really made them mad because they thought they could get one over on me. I let them know my cleaning was $5 and my office visit was $5 so they decided to tack on a $65 per tooth to stop bleeding which is absolutely ridiculous because they had never met me or knew anything about my dental history. I looked at my schedule of benefits and this treatment showed $65 per tooth however they lied to me and said, "Oh no, that is a one time charge." but I know that they are liars and would have come back later to charge me the remainder from all the reviews I have seen.
