The welcome, attention and care I received from Aberdeen Dentistry Family has been impeccable. I was referred by my orthodontist Dr. Petrover (I have invisaligns) and had already received a new tray. I came to Dr. Krawatsky with lots of concerns and apprehension. But Dr. K has been working with my orthodontist to assure the choices being made are the best for my needs. My cleaning was with Michelle who was efficient, gentle and so sweet and personable. She armed me with knowledge and the tools to help me have a successful next visit. (I have my homework cut out for me) Dr. K did my crown and two cavity fillings. (Boy I sound like a hot mess) Dr. K was so gentle, caring and her precision and attention to detail was amazing. I never felt pain or discomfort. When she herd, I had a concert to sing at, she skillfully changed up our original procedure so as to not have me drooling during my concert. (Thanks for that Doc.) And through all this Dr. K and her team NEVER made me feel unfixable. I need a lot of work and Wendy was instrumental in keeping me aware and organized with all the costs and coverages that needed to be addressed. I want to start off by saying I have never left a negative review for any establishment on social media or any other platform but I feel obligated to warn people of this business and their unethical practices. They will recommend procedures and then tell you that your insurance doesn't cover those services (which is untrue) When I visited this office for the first time 4 months ago I was very unhappy with my experience. I was told that my insurance did not cover 2 services that were recommended by the hygienist and when I questioned it because I was pretty positive they were covered I was told by the front desk staff that "insurance never covers these procedures". I declined the recommended services because I had a gut feeling I was being told wrong information. When I got home I reviewed my insurance policy to confirm those services were covered 100% I called later that day and spoke to Josline (the office manager) I was told that she would look into it and get back to me. She called me back shortly after and apologized and said her staff has certain protocols which were not followed and she takes full responsibility and continued to apologize. I said it was my first time as patient there and I was very disappointed.Josline then said (on our phone call) please come back and you can get your 2 services and as an apology I will not bill the 2nd service (fluoride treatment ) to your insurance and it will be free of charge. I was hesitant to come back but Josline sent me a quick text message the next morning again apologizing and saying she's very sorry and please let her know when I'm ready to schedule to come back. I thought the apology was genuine and the kind gesture to comp the fluoride treatment so I decided I would give this office another chance. I explained that my schedule did not allow for an immediate appointment but next time I come in I will gladly take you up on your offer. Yesterday I was back for my 2nd appointment (a cleaning) and the hygienist recommended a fluoride treatment and then proceeded to tell me it wasn't covered under my insurance. After I pushed back (thinking to myself here we go again )it was looked into further and surprisingly it was then covered. When I checked out at the front desk and spoke to Josline about her saying she wouldn't bill it to my insurance ( I have an allowed amount each year for covered services and I didn't want it to go towards that) she had printed out a text message that she sent me the day after my last appointment 4 months ago as a follow up to her phone apology and because she didn't mention the free fluoride treatment in the follow up text she acted like she never said it and handed me the printed out text with her apology and just said it doesn't say it on the text so she wasn't going to honor it. I told her we spoke about it on the phone at length while she was asking me to come back and give them another chance but she was not interested in anything I had to say. I am disgusted by the behavior I received yesterday. We had a clear and concise conversation about how she planned to rectify the mistake via phone and because it wasnt on the short text message that she sent the day after our conversation she was not willing to honor it. Just to be clear you lost a new client and any potential referrals over $30 It is in no way for me about the small dollar amount but more about unethical billing and when I tried to give them a second chance they not only tried to bill me again for covered services but then doubled down on it by refusing to comp the service I was promised as they rudely handed me text messages which were about 1/4 of our communication about this matter. I had a very unprofessional experience at this office. As the only dental assistant, my responsibilities are in the back assisting with patient care, but I was told to handle front desk phone calls at the same time. When I expressed concerns about this, I was met with rudeness and disrespect rather than understanding. Afterward, even the doctor began treating me poorly. A dental office should operate with teamwork, respect, and professionalism, but unfortunately that was not the case here. read more

I am currently staying in Delray beach for February, and I began to have a toothache. I thought I should find a dentist to check it out before I waited to go home; by then, I might be in severe pain. I found Aberdeen dental on the internet and made an appointment. Her staff was so pleasant and competent that booking an appointment within a few days was easy. And they reached out to my dentist back home to obtain my dental history and x-rays. Dr. K was so friendly and thorough. Their online patient registration was also very complete and easy to navigate. Dr Krawatsky is an amazing dentist! She puts you at ease when you're in her chair and engages in conversations with you so it isn't just about dental work. Today, I had a dental hygienist named Michelle who was super friendly and catered to my needs; I will be sure to ask for her for all of my cleanings moving forward. We found this dentist through delta dental's provider page. I noticed that they are no longer listed. No wonder, they are crooks. They will want you to pay up front. Stay clear of this practice. They submitted our claim through delta and as usual delta decided that the reasonable and customary payment was substantially less, so they paid the standard fees. This fee was not sufficient for this practice, they needed more. Why is the fee reasonable for every other dentist and not for these crooks? I refused to pay more and told them so numerous times. They decided to send the account to a law office. I will be seeing them in court. In the meantime, get away from these vultures and head to a real dental office that is not looking to screw you. I'll be contacting Beth, and invite others to contact me as I think we could have a class action law suit against this practice. read more

This is an update to my 04-20-15 review. I am sorry it is late. Everything I said in my earlier review is the same times 1000. Rarely these days do you run into a professional who really cares like Dr K and her staff does. Ease of setting and changing appointments with Wendy was a breeze. I have a very tight schedule and she was able to accommodate me through every change. As for Dr K and her assistant Amanda, neither of them could have been nicer or more professional. I went in to get two veneers done. One fit and went in perfectly, but the other was a bit off. I want everybody to know it was the LAB's fault not Dr K's. now, the veneer looked fine to me, but Dr K refused to put it in since it was not perfect. Her exact words were, "I would not put anything in a patient's mouth that I would not put into my own." Like I said, rarely do we see that kind of professionalism anymore. Once the veneer came back to her standards, it was put in and it looks great. I get more and more compliments, and nobody can tell I have veneers. Again, the professionalism and friendliness of Dr K's staff is unrivaled. Even the sweet hygienist Melissa came in to see how everything looked. Like I said previously, I cannot wait to have my teeth cleaned by her. Imagine that........actually looking forward to visiting the dentist. Dr K has earned herself a patient for life, and I will not hesitate to recommend her to anybody who asks. Thanks once more to Dr K and her staff for such a positive experience. read more

This is a lovely office with the nicest staff around. Dr. K is so gentle and sweet. They are fairly priced and honest people, they don't try to sell you on things you do not need and are very genuinely concerned with the health and happiness of their clients. My father from out of town had an mm dental emergency while visiting, and Dr K fit him in that very day to help him and give him pain relief. Even though he wasn't her patient, she was kind enough to see him and give him the treatment he needed right away. If you let them know you are scared or need a little extra TLC they are more than happy to oblige. I highly recommend Dr K and her office for all your dental needs. I recently went in to see dr.k after having severe tooth pain. She diagnosed me of having a infection under the gum line of a wisdom tooth. Her office was then able to get me to see a local surgeon that day to try to remove the tooth. The doctor wanted to wait to do the surgery but gave me some pain meds and antibiotics. The next day I noticed the pain had gone down a little bit, but it was getting hard to swallow and my face was swelling. I wasn't sure if this was normally for it to get a little worse or not. At around 10:00am I got a call from Aberdeen to follow up to see how I was doing and told the doctor how I felt. She explained to me that I needed to call the surgery center again get the tooth removed right away. The surgeon said I would have probably been in the hospital if I didn't make it in that day. I'm so thankful dr.k was able to see me and follow up like she did. It's the little things that really make the difference between a good business and a great one! read more

Wife and i visited Aberdeen Dentistry for first time on Thursday 8/22/19. As "newbies" we were surprised by the professionalism of the staff who made us feel so comfy. Cleaning was thorough and Dr K was knowledgeable and took time to explain in detail a plan of treatment for us. No one likes to go to the dentist. Since my review, Dr. Krawatsky has called and we discussed the situation. I want to make people aware there is a difference if a Dental office submits your insurance and what that office is willing to accept for payment. The insurance company was quite clear about how much will be paid to the Dental practice. That was half of what the office estimated and I now pay the difference.
