Karen really understands how muscles work and their relationship to your nervous system. I literally witnessed her healing my daughter's lower back muscle pain back due to an L4/L5 stress fracture. Karen came highly recommended by a friend / coworker. She's friendly, professional, and knowledgeable in her practice. Appointments are also very easy to book on her website. During my 3rd trimester, I enjoyed my prenatal massages so much, I saw her weekly. She provided so many comfortable props while I was in a side lying position. I was in heaven!!! Fantastic muscle therapy! Karen is so sweet and extremely knowledgeable about her craft. You can tell that she really tell that she has a passion for what she does. Karen is amazing and definitely gifted!! After briefly describing the painful areas to her right before the session, she just knew and found the exact problem so fast. One of the things that Karen is great at is assessing the amount of pressure you need and can tolerate and gradually getting to the place where your muscles will release. After one session, I feel noticeably better physically and mentally. I am noticing benefits including being more relaxed and significant relief from my back and neck issues. I learned a lot during the session from her and the stretching exercises she suggested are working wonders. Karen is the best massage therapist I have seen in the south bay area. She is kind, considerate and very good at her craft. The location is easy to get to right on Lincoln with parking in the back. Her room is small but well appointed and comfortable. I recommend doing at least a 75 minute session. She will ask before the appointment where you'd like to focus and will pay particular attention to that area as well as working the overall body. Her specialty is head/neck/shoulders. Very good for anyone doing a lot of repetitive motion to reset yourself. Her prices are comparable to others in the area and you really get your money's worth. read more
