I started going to this PT office after having knee pain while I was training for my first half-marathon. I cannot recommend this office enough - I LOVE Martin and the rest of the staff. It's pretty ass-kicking but at the end it was so worth it. Martin is incredibly knowledgable and thorough, and at the same time pretty goofy and personable. Not to mention, my knee pain is completely gone now and I was able to run my half-marathon with ease. I'm so grateful for Martin and his amazing team.

The techs are also very friendly and make sure their patients do all their exercises correctly and effectively. The receptionist is very efficient in scheduling appointments and keeping everything running smoothly. One additional plus is Bayside's Health and Wellness program. When your health insurance company says you're done with official PT, you have the option of continuing your path to wellness with Sarah, Bayside's certified trainer. She determines what exercise program will work best for you, and then works with you individually to help you reach your goals. She is wonderful in creating specific exercises that match your abilities, while also encouraging you to stretch beyond your current capabilities. I started going to him for my severe neck/shoulder/upper back pain 2 years ago and I continue to see him if/when the pain resurfaces (usually triggered by stress). He was thorough from the get-go in determining the exact location and cause of my pain, and not only did he treat the pain but we developed a long-term strategy with specific exercises to strengthen the muscles in my neck and upper back! How many chiropractors do you know that actually want to heal you so you don't return? :) After "trying" a different chiropractor near my home (who didn't help and actually CAUSED more aggravated pain!), I realized that Dr. Yousefi's method is actually very cautious, targeted, and less-aggressive than some other chiropractors. That approach works miraculously for me in treating the pain effectively. Also important to note that he treats TMJ issues! Dr. Yousefi genuinely cares about his patients - and you don't see that very often in healthcare today. I highly recommend him for any back pain or nerve issues.

However, when I tore a tendon in my arm and I was told I had to do it, I did my research and ended up here. I was prepared to be the typical person who went a couple of times, learned the exercises and then head off to the gym to do it myself. But, Theresa and the team are fantastic. She changed my opinion and helped me achieve my goals. I have full mobility and am working towards the strength training portion. She challenged me every visit and in about 2 months, I graduated. They took such great care of me, the facility is clean, the team is hilarious and entertaining. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them if you are looking for PT.
