When I was in the hospital recovering from triple bypass surgery, my wife had a very stressful, frightening incident and found a house that looked okay She called Ryan and had him make an offer sight unseen because of her fears living where we did after the aforementioned incident. Ryan did nothing to try and get the best price for the place and when he received the inspection report ONLY sent it to us via email. No review, no comments, NOTHING. We went thru with the purchase, but decided this was not the home for us and put it back on the market using Ryan. He did basically nothing to hep market the property, no open houses, nothing outside of posting on Realtor and Zillow. After a month we took it off the market and terminated our agreement with Ryan. All the tie we worked with him he made a big effort to come across as our best new friend with offers of dinner out and other social outings which, of course, never happened. We researched realtors in the area where the house is located and found one very highly rated by multiple independent sources. We relisted the house with him. He asked if we had had an inspection done when we purchased the place, which of course we had and provided it to him. He reviewed it and within a day called us back with his findings that included 2 significant items that should have definitely been addressed by our previous agent. He did not think they were necessarily show stoppers but should ethically have been discussed with us and the seller. Ryan, as stated, did not seem to have ever looked at the inspection report, certainly did not note any issues with it to us and merely sent it as an attachment to an email. BTW, he purports to be a Home Town Heroes participant. Realtors in this program return 50% of their commission to their clients. He took his full commission on our purchase and did not return a penny to us!!! I now have to seriously question his ethics and his buddy-buddy attitude. NOT FOR REAL!! AVOID HIM LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

I moved in on 7/19. The apartment was under construction so I had to wait to move in and could not…read morelook at it first. The apartment I saw in person was on the walk up level. When I leased my apartment I called the leasing office to make sure the location of the apartment I wanted and what I leased was the same. IT WAS NOT. I am located on the ground level which I have to use the elevator to access. I work from home, and need my work computer connected directly to Ethernet port. The morning after move in that was an issue as well. They use community WiFi through Spectrum. Even though my computer was plugged in, it would not let my computer connect to the network. The leasing office opens at 9am so of course I couldn't get anything even started to be fixed until after the time I was supposed to be working. It took about an hour for the situation to be resolved. The doors move constantly when someone enters the hallway or enters/leaves their apartment. I've tried to have maintenance fix it and it just made it harder to close the door. My closet shelving kept falling down. I expected more after paying $500 in application fees for me and my husband. And don't get me started with how hard it was to set up insurance and electricity at an apartment whose address won't pull up correctly in any system. A few days later, more neighbors began to move in and we realized the BIGGEST FLAW of the community. It was not built correctly to withstand such close living. ALL DAY AND NIGHT LONG I can hear my upstairs neighbor stomp around his apartment. He works from home as well so it is constant. I can hear him through my work headset and even over clients on the phone. I feel like I live in a fish tank with all the thumping and distorted TV sounds. It happens even during the "quiet hours" (ex 12am,2am, 5am...which the leasing office is not even open to call). I can also hear my next-door neighbors TV and her moving clothes in her closet. I feel like I live in a fishbowl. (&& if you're wondering if I contacted the leasing office I did. I also understand people are moving in. This is now a constant thing. I've even talked to the neighbor who seemed really nice this place is just not built right) Then, 3 weeks later I'm dealing with another WiFi issue. Couldn't contact the leasing office because they were closed. Contacted spectrum only to find out the issue could no be solved remotely (their typical method) and that a technician needed to come to my unit. This could take up to 24/48hrs to happen. There goes my work day!!!!!! I even spoke to a supervisor... the issue is assumed to be a select issue and not community wide. Finally get in contact with the leasing office and then dispatch from spectrum calls to tell me that the office needs to set up the appointment for the technician to come out since they manage the WiFi for the complex. I call the leasing office back and they say they don't set up appointments & the rep must have been misinformed. So now I'm in this fishbowl and can't even work to keep me occupied. All I can focus on is the thumping above me and not getting paid. If you haven't gotten the point of this review here it is spelled out for you clearly....DO NOT MOVE HERE!

But we have always made excuses for people so asked her to help with this purchase despite some serious reservations. She arranged a showing during which the owner's wife sat in the living room eating and smoking. We asked to see the patio which Betsy said "Just take a quick look out of respect for the owner." Had we had more time we would have noticed the 2 HVAC units right next to the patio and directly in front of the second bedroom windows that when on drown out the ability to hear someone sitting few feet away and also make it difficult to sleep with the noise going. We also did not notice that the patio was within 15 feet or so from the building main entry door which, after we purchased and moved in, we discovered was used by the majority of residents and prevents any real sense of privacy. My wife asked her about the residents that lived above the unit and Betsy literally raised her voice and said that she could not say anything about them as it was against the law!!! And sarcastically asked my wife if she wanted het to lose her license. As my wife was negotiating the price she promised to buy us dinner out if we bought. Well my wife got a very good price negotiated and we did buy, BUT there was NO OFFER OF THE PROMISED DINNER. In fact, after we got settled Betsy joined us at the local Harris Teeter for appetizers and drinks. Not only did she not even consider contributing to the bill (FREE DINNER), but even had me go to the appetizer table twice to get her more food. I strongly suggest that nobody believe the 5 star review written about her on this site.
