Do NOT buy ticket from the 3rd party vendor. First they charge a lot higher service fee and they sent you a link to ticket master to 'confirm' the ticket. It was stupid because older ticket master, you see how much cheaper the ticket is (at least 15-20%) . I called them to request a refund since I never got the ticket and decided to buy ticket directly from ticket master. They going on and on and would not return the money so I have to call my credit card company to file dispute. read more

Went to Comic Con this year in San Diego. We were able to get tickets to just Thursday and Sunday through the online lottery ticket sale. So, I asked Atlas to help me procure tickets for Friday. If I were a mostly benevolent, omnipotent deity, Ticketmaster would have its own VIP section in my hottest ring of hell. The general process of buying tickets with taxes, "maintenance fees," "facility fees" and "fee fees" makes my blood boil. I'm also reluctant to go to ticket agencies for similar reasons. Atlas is the singular bright spot I've had in the whole buying ticket process. I've used them about 4 or 5 times by now over a few years, and they've always been really convenient and courteous. Yeah, yeah... I know. Ticket scalpers are whack, but sometimes when you REALLY want to see a show, a sporting event, or a theater production... a professional ticket scalper is your only safe option. The argument can be made that ticket scalpers are the reason a lot of hot shows sell out in San Diego, but since there's no law against swooping up enough tickets to spiff out an entire African village, there's not much we can do if we wait too long to buy our way into a concert. Flight of the Conchords, for example: I waited two days to buy my tickets after they went on sale... and guess what? Sold cleeeeeaaaaaaaan out. Damn! Now I have a few options: 1. Creepy Craigslist encounter where you're essentially gambling on the fact that the person you're buying your ticket from is honest (and won't kill you in a Rite Aid parking lot). 2. EBAY... I always suck at buying stuff on there. Always outbid right at the last second. 3. Stub Hub... a great alternative, but a high mark up on tickets and service fees. 4. Local ticket scalper. This time around, I went for option 4. If I'm gonna be throwing down a few ducks on concert tickets, I might as well spend it in town to help boost our local economy, right? OG tickets to the Flight of the Conchords show were going for $50 ($35 base, $10 'convenience charges,' and taxes). Because the show is tonight, Atlas had a special ticket price of $60/ticket. Not half bad, considering most of the tickets floating around the internet are going for anywhere between $85 and $100 each. These guys are pros and they've been selling tickets locally for 20 years. They won't burn you (as it's their livelihood at stake), so even though it puts you in a strange moral dilemma, it's worth the peace of mind to buy from a legitimate source. If you're reading this review and you're teetering on buying tickets of your own... DO IT! read more

I had a huge snafu last year with my hotel regarding a Padres game and the tickets. The hotel dropped the ball. (Maybe the 18 year-old concierge could have been an issue). If it weren't for the Padres staff, I would have been out of a game I had already paid for. Thank you Padres staff. Atlas tickets offered me a deal the next time I was in San Diego, even though the issue was through no fault of their own. I took advantage of that and got a good price, and great seats, on the Padres versus Dodgers game. Dodgers won, 1-0....barely (barely still equals win) I felt they treated me properly. Found these guys on craigslist and had my reservations at first. Checked them out on Yelp and saw mostly positive reviews. So I gave them a try. Placed my order at night, received confirmation the next day to pick up. Went smoother than a baby's bottom. I liked the fact they gave me a choice to pick up directly from them. Some places its mandatory to get an mail expedited service that costs $17.00 I'm with everybody, I hate ticketmaster. Craigslist is a crapshoot. Stubhub gives you a guarantee but their markup is ridiculously high. (You buy 10 tickets to an event, that 10% markup on each ticket starts to get pretty expensive). I'm usually the guy hosting and fronting money for group events so I need a place that is honest and fair. Anyway, I got some pretty good seats below stated value. Customer service here makes you feel like you're talking to your buddy you've known for years. I must've stayed there an extra 1/2 hour just talking football with Nic. Will do business again here. Found these guys by accident and super stoked I did! I was looking for tickets to the Gulls game and was frustrated by the extremely high fees charged by ticketmaster/stubhub etc. (Over 20% of the ticket cost!). Rolled the dice on the local connection and was rewarded with no hidden fees and prompt kind service. I was booking tickets for a group of 6 and had already ordered my tickets online when I was hit with a last minute request for a 7th attendee. They are courteous ticket dealers who try and get you the best seats in your price range. They love music over at Atlas. The same shows they're selling us tickets to...some Lucky bugger on staff may be going to see the show too, with us fellow San Diegan's. :-) Call them, they have the best tickets and best customer service. SO happy with Atlas Tickets! I bought tickets from them for Lana Del Rey. Basically the whole show was bought up by scalpers and resold at ridiculous prices, so I didn't think I'd be able to go. No matter what your moral standing on ticket resellers, it's good to know an honest local one. Atlas Tickets passes the test. If you need good seats to impress, they definitely have them. Their website lists the real price you'll pay for your tickets - not like Ticketmaster's "ticket price + convenience charge + processing fee + shipping = what??" You can save any shipping cost at all by picking up your tickets at the Atlas office, one block from the Sports Arena. Open 7 days a week, plenty of free parking right out front, and enough neon that you could find this place from the moon. The service was really friendly and efficient. I placed my order on line and within a few minutes had a phone message confirming my tickets were ready for pick-up. The guy at the office was super nice. The tickets were genuine and the seats were fantastic. You'll pay a pretty penny for the best seats, but if you're going to do that at least do it with someone reliable and local. read more

I've used them exclusively for the last couple of years and they always take care of me. They have even helped me sell my tickets for an event that I couldn't attend. Ask them about free parking for San Diego Gulls games. Every time I buy Gulls tickets they give me a free VIP Parking pass. Not having to pay for parking is nice. I think its a family run business and the have a beautiful dog behind the counter. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for tickets. Not just in San Diego but anywhere. I found an ad on Craigslist for some good seats at a good price for an event in San Diego. I communicated with the person selling these via text and was told exactly which section I was getting for that price. I got the person's address and decided to make the far drive and pick these tickets up. Well the address turns out to be for Atlas Tickets. I go in and am told they've never had any tickets for that specific section and I would have to buy seats that were more expensive. I asked to speak to the manager and the person who had texted me. Well it turns out the owner is the person who had texted me. He was not there at the time so they called him to talk to me. I told him he had told me twice(I had the texts to prove it) that I was getting the specific section at the specific price and now I find out that "maybe he had made a mistake"! What an A------e!!! He does not apologize and asks me to find the ad...maybe I had misread it! He got super defensive and asks me "So what do you want me to do?" He refused to compromise to do anything for HIS mistake/misleading act. DON'T buy from this business...the unprofessional, uncaring, and rude owner does not deserve anyone's business. read more
