The vibe and lights are super cute but the photo booth was my favorite part. It costs 5 tokens or $5 and you can choose anywhere from 1-8 photos in your strip. They have so many props and filters, and the BEST part is you can retake a photo as many times as you want without having to redo the whole strip. As a group of girls that could not decide if we liked a picture, this was literally the best part and we were laughing the whole time. You also get a printed photo strip and can scan a QR code to get the digital copies too. The prizes were also really cute and had a lot of the trendy stuff like Squishes, Pokémon, and more. If you like photo booths or just want something fun to do with friends, it's honestly so worth it. We were laughing nonstop the whole time and I'd definitely go back.

We truly love the owners and the entire staff--they are consistently warm, welcoming, and always go out of their way to make sure everyone is having an amazing time. The plushies are insanely cute, great quality, and there's always something new you want to win. It's a VR play store where they have individual stalls (about 8) each equipped with a screen, one VR headset, and hand remotes. You can play by yourself or join someone else's game in the other stalls. There's a 100 different games to choose from. There are also 2 virtual driving stations. Due to the complexity of using the remotes, I'd say these activities are best suited for 7-8 year olds and above. They also do birthday packages which I'm sure are popular among the kids. The owner Jordan is awesome. He is super friendly and helpful. I don't know how he does it but he is able to manage all 8 individual stalls and troubleshoot for each person right away. You pay every 30 min. They offer happy hour which is half off Monday-Thursday from 5pm to close. So we paid $10 for 30 mins for each stall which was a good deal. They also have a punch card so the more you play, the more free play time you can earn. My kids are already asking to go back lol :p we shall return soon for more fun!

I imagine they were cleaning off the equipment/controllers after the previous party, as they had cake, and before our party. There are plenty of different games to enjoy and switch off even for numerous kids. The staff were friendly and helpful. Another option for kids' birthday parties these days :)

The Pacific Island Festival Association (PIFA) event has been going on for 31 years in Mission Bay…read morein SD in September. They celebrate all of the Pacific Island Cultures. Persons from Guam and Samoa were well represented here! The main stage features entertainment every thirty minutes. I came here to see my six year old niece do some hula; however, they had cultural exhibitions for the entire weekend! Also cool are the cultural merch and food that you can get here. I was able to get a really solid 3 meat sampling of Chamorro (Guamanian) food for $25, which came with a red rice, 3 meats, and creamy greens. Lines could be pretty long for food and it can get pretty hot at the park; however, we had a good time as we were here in the morning before the sun brought down its wrath on the crowds. We parked for free at the Sun Runner Parking lot off Sea World Parkway, and they had shuttles that took you to the event from the lot for $2 per person. If you are coming to this event, then I think this is a great way to get to the event. The event is running through the end of this weekend. I primarily come to support family that participates; however, we did find some good food and Pacific Islander vendors, so it was a good time overall!

Also I felt very included even though I am far from belong to any Polynesian island and my inability to flex that much. Be aware you will dance barefoot and also you have to wear your hair up. A cute short pareo is a must and they can lend you one there.

My child is in their Survivalist camp through the City of Carlsbad this week. It's advertised as:…read more"Are you an adventurer? Do you want to learn what it takes to thrive and survive in any wild situation? Then do we have the camp for you. In Survivalist camp you will learn how to locate, grow, and cook food, how to set up a variety of shelter types, and learn everything from knots to traditional methods of finding direction to how to make various survival necessities. Think that is too easy? We may even challenge you to build a hammock and survive in real style." She's completed day 4 of 5 and they have not even attempted to teach how to locate or grow or cook food. The "variety of shelters" they've set up consists of some square puzzle pieces of colored plastic that they connect together like Legos, along with a tarp. They proceeded to construct these same plastic shelters (without instruction either, just free play time) for the next 3 days. This building and clean up takes over 1.5 hrs. They've also thrown plastic boomerangs through hula hoops and play capture the flag. The camp is over $250. My kid didn't need this glorified babysitting. I wanted her to learn the actual skills advertised. I asked about this on a local group (a completely vague description just saying a camp where they're building forts) and had three other parents guess immediately that it was the Survivalist Camp that I was referring to. They also were upset by the other camps run by Arimaw and Michael Wulff.

Apparently there's been a big renovation I wasn't aware of which included amazing new reclining seats (which didn't require being assigned which is usually annoying in my opinion.) they also have a great mix of healthy and high-end treats at the concession stand for pretty much the same price as any other theater charges for crappy low-end candies and snacks. Also enjoyed the amusing guy who introduced the movie, A popular new trend that I think Arclight started. Anyway, if you haven't been here in a while I recommend you come back and support this awesome Landmark theater. We don't want to lose a place like this is not the same as all the other typical AMCs etc. out there.
