When we got our tickets scanned, the greeter was very cheerful and was helpful on guiding us to the correct theater. We watched the new horror film called, "The Mummy"...we enjoyed it. We didn't order nothing since we had a big dinner before attending, but the smell of the popcorn was very tempting. If you haven't tried the Club Rocker seats, you should. How much we love classics, it was definitely a sweet upgrade on the seating.

You've got to be kidding me…read more We showed up early for our movie, and nothing happened. No previews, no ads, no movie... just a dark screen and a theater full of people sitting in silence wondering what was going on. After waiting, I called the front desk and was told they were "trying" to fix it. No apology, no updates, no offer of a refund or any compensation for everyone's wasted time. What makes this even more frustrating is that management apparently already knew the projector was having issues, yet customers were still being seated without any warning or communication. I usually arrive early because I actually enjoy watching the previews and ads before the movie, but instead we spent that time waiting with no information and no customer service. Technical problems happen. Ignoring your customers and failing to communicate is the real issue. Very disappointing experience.

Wow....very impressed…read more Shopping around for last minute Monday Night Football tickets, I found their listing on Ebay and called their 1-800-295-0053 number. Spoke with Greg and he actually gave me a better price over the phone and offered next day delivery from San Diego to Los Angeles. Plus, he gave me the option to park my car at their hotel location and take the trolley instead of dealing with traffic and parking at Qualcomm...talk about looking out for a DIE HARD CHARGER FAN on a budget!! Thanks again, Greg....looking forward to my first Monday Night Football Game in San Diego to watch my BOLTS versus the COLTS....GO CHARGERS, BABY!!!!

I purchased Padres tickets through a 3rd party vendor that ended up being from Spectator Tickets. The vendor messed up my order and I unwittingly purchased tickets for the wrong day. I immediately called and was put in touch with Julia at Spectator Tickets. All sales were supposed to be final, but she empathized with my situation and worked tirelessly for hours to find me tickets on the day I wanted, which was today! She not only was able to find me tickets but I did not have to pay any additional charges because she found seats in the same section for the same price for me! Its rare to find companies that will bend over backwards for you these days, even going against "procedure" to make sure that the customer is happy. I'll definitely go out of my way to buy tickets from Spectator Tickets next time I need tickets. I highly recommend that you do too. And their prices were way below face value!

The Whaley House is a historic house and museum located in Old Town, San Diego, California. It is…read morethe oldest brick structure in Southern California, built in 1857. The Whaley House was a central pillar amongst the Old Town San Diego community. From 1857 to the early part of the 20th century, the Whaley House became the gathering place for the entire San Diego community. Besides being the Whaley family home, it was also San Diego's first commercial theater, the second county courthouse, and a bilingual general store. The Whaley House primarily served as the residential home for Thomas Whaley and his family. Thomas Whaley arrived in San Francisco around 1849, during the famous California Gold Rush. He then went to San Diego in September 1851. Two years later, Whaley went back to New York and married Anna Eloise Delaunay on August 14, 1853. Together they returned to California, arriving in San Diego on December 7, 1853. On August 22, 1857, the Whaleys moved into their new home, now known as the Whaley House. While the Whaley House might seem perfectly normal, it also has a dark side. The house and property were the sites of multiple violent and bizarre deaths, hangings, and even suicide. As a result, it's widely believed that various members of the Whaley family and others haunt the home where they endured so much sorrow! Now as a museum, the Whaley House fully embraces its haunted past and allows it to live alongside the building's historical significance. Guests can partake in self-guided tours during the day and guided tours in the evening. We visited this historic house on Black Friday in 2025 during our trip to San Diego. We had a great time visiting the Whaley House. The staff were very friendly, cooperative, and knowledgeable about the history, incidents, tragedies, and folklore of this house. For those seeking a more immersive experience, Whaley House offers an After-Hours Paranormal Investigation. These small group investigations begin at 10:30 PM. Guests can use a variety of paranormal investigating tools, including EMF readers, thermal cameras, spirit boxes, and dowsing rods.

I had been telling my daughter about this haunted house for a couple of weeks leading up to our visit, and she was so excited--it was basically all she talked about. We even watched some YouTube videos beforehand. I definitely leaned into the spooky factor, mostly because I remember coming here in sixth grade and wanted my kids to enjoy it the same way I did. Our guide was dressed in period clothing and gave us a brief overview with some interesting facts before letting us explore on our own. The house isn't very large, but it's well laid out, full of history, and there are plenty of rooms and details to check out. Even without anything over-the-top scary, it was still a fun and engaging experience--especially for kids who love a good ghost story.
