Went there on 2/3/26. First time here. Saw them on IG on started following them. Looks like they get a very good beer selection. Then actually going it was a lot better than I thought. Upscale store (not just liquor! Also have butcher on-site and more!) with a nice selection of rums. A bit pricier than our usual store but happy to find this well-located shop when we needed to buy a hostess gift for a house party! Saved the day. read more

If you live in or near Lafayette, CO... this is your one stop shop for liquor, beer, wine, gifts, food and more! We were astonished by the collection here. On top of being well-stocked, they have a kind and welcoming staff. We were told that if we needed help finding anything, there were experts for each alcohol section they could send over. We did not but it's always nice to know when a store has experts in the house! I've used them in other liquor or grocery stores, and they really can help you decide on a suitable bottle for your palette. Finally and probably most importantly, they had fair prices and an amazing rewards program! read more

this modern gourmet market reminds me a bit of the days when I was a kid in Oakland California, and my Mom would take me to the grocery store, and most of them were run by Italians who, if you wanted tomatoes or peaches, would grab a bag and go pick out the best, and only the best of the lot, to toss in your bag. It was "So good to see you Mrs. *****," and in return she'd say, "I appreciate your kindness and thanks for the excellent peaches--put them on our account." Well this grocery store is not quite that, and we don't run an account, though i wonder if we couldn't? But what's the same is superior merchandise and a helpful, doting staff. This is as close as you'll get to pampering in a marketT the meat market has somewhat disappeared, fresh trays of goods having been replaced by frozen prepackaged items, and that has been a big disappointment, yet in this day and age, I'm sure a small store has a hard time maintaining an old-fashioned butcher shop. I implore management to try to get back to fresh meats on trays, if they can. Stock what's hard to find: Veal, Lamb, Corned Beef, Turkey all year long. Veal chops! How can we make Weinerschnitzel, when there's no Veal in Denver? You could be the resource! The wine staff is great, and so are the butchers, although even in times of fresh trays, they could have catered more to individual requests. Perhaps, in fact, that was part of the problem.. My wife and i asked for some lamb shoulder (round bone chops, those with a line of small bones on the edge), and we were told, "Sorry, we'd have to order a whole tray of them just to get you four or six, and we can't do that." That's the crux, a better attempt at "specialization" might have helped the meat department. but i digress, as the place is interesting and quite well managed, and an oasis in this world of King Stupids and Holy Foods. We went for wine and whiskey the other day and came home with Christmas gifts for four friends--bowls, towels, napkins and such. You never know what you'll find among these good people wit h an artistic flair. To you, I say, "Try it, you'll like it, and to them, I say, "Onward and upward. Exaggerate your good points." Go boldly into the Star Trek future.--Thank you for being there." Check out Valente's at 72nd and Lowell, and take a page out of their book. Fine Italian imported sausages and pastas. your ship is on course. Plunge ahead! Bravo! In for a nickel, in for a dime! Let's go support this place, an oasis as it is. I needed cheese today and was randomly looking for the nearest market (I had something to pick up near Arapahoe), and came across Atlas Valley Purveyors. This place was off the hook in terms of having everything this hot mess of a mama needed. I was totally flabbergasted at all of the cool shiz they have. They got toys for kids (mostly a large selection of melissa and doug stuff), Colorado souvenirs (a lot of catstudio stuff), cooking gadgets, brewing gadgets, cards and cool paper runner stuff you can buy by-the-yard.......a huge selection of them mini bottles of liquor for gift baskets. I was massively impressed with their cheese offerings because they had sliced cheese packets for king soopers prices which was exactly what I needed. They have a medium sized produce section, also they had nicely displayed baskets of potatoes and tomatoes and local bread from a bakery I didn't know existed.....meats in their butcher area !! They had gluten free stuff.....and a baking section too! Anyway, all I am sayin' is - if you need a hot minute to dip into the drive thru at brewing market, then slip over to Button Rock Bakery for a cookie then meander thru Atlas Valley Purveyors for those one or two items you need - its a perfect trifecta over at Arapahoe and 95th. I love it when I find markets like this because I can get so many things done within one place, and as a mom on the go I need that. read more

People in the neighborhood are dying for a great sandwich spot, I am dying for a great sandwich/lunch spot. Your seating area rocks, kids love the yogurt machine. I have to tell you, I am pretty sure no one ever had a great sandwich experience when the sandwich came out on a hot dog bun. I upgraded to real bread once, it was actually almost worse, dry dense, not fresh. I LOVE you guys and probably shop here 2-3 times a week. A gourmet gem tucked into a small shopping center. Located off the beaten track (which I love) so there are no parking challenges. This little store has a little bit of everything: Wine, alcohol, cheese, groceries, gifts & miscellaneous sundries that are perfect for gifts. Staff is extremely helpful. This place is AWESOME! I don't know how I have not reviewed it before as it is a staple in our household and we go there even more now that they have added a grocery/deli side. The booze selection is great and the staff is always knowledgable and friendly. From the make-your-own-sixer fridge of craft beers to the amazing wall of bourbons, you can't go wrong here. You can get excellent deals on cheeses on the grocery side as well as specialty items that are fun and/or hard to find (delicious and cheap in-house roasted garlic, quail eggs). The meats always look fresh and we have gotten tasty marinated chicken, ground sausage and cooked ribs from them. I usually grab some sort of produce I'm missing (mushrooms, mini peppers etc). It also will do in a pinch on anything you might need (such as dishwasher soap, pharmacy items, energy drinks etc). All they have PLUS their killer rewards program (spend $500, get $50 to spend in the store! - I think you may be able to redeem sooner for less) you have to check out Atlas! read more

Love this little store!! In fact, it might be my favorite of all time- and let me tell you why: while I stopped in here the first time to pick up a bottle of wine, I ended up spending an hour just walking around because their offering was so intriguing. Aside from a full, and far reaching wine collection, and in addition to an extensive range of craft beer/bourbon (both local and global), they have a an amazing charcuterie assortment and a real life butcher counter!! Blew my damn face off! Now, here's where it really gets good- they have full-on experts who have been available to educate me on every visit, answering every question or request I had- whether it was a specific wine I was looking for, or wanting to learn more about the Colorado distilleries to purchase the right gift. I usually strongly dislike shopping, and do my best to stay out of stores in general, but I find myself looking for any reason to need to visit this place. Not sure how the pricing compares to other big box bullsh^t retailers around here, and I honestly don't care- in fact, if they took everything up 20% tomorrow, I probably wouldn't even notice, because their service and local/friendly focus is why I spend my money here. read more

They have an exceptional liquor, wine and beer selection, gourmet grocery and specialty housewares. This place is )#$*))#$* awesome. We were big fans of the liquor store before, sure we have dealt with some employees there that seem to be a bit blinky, but the store is great. The have the best beer selection in the area, prices are reasonable, and have a pretty cool rewards program. Then the wall came down. We love shopping here. They have a good selection of more-difficult-to-find ingredients as well as staples. The liquor store portion has a great selection, including a lot of local bombers. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They have quality meats and produce, but they need to turn their inventory a little faster. I I stop in often when I visit my mother in CO. I bought a bottle of nice barbecue sauce that was pretty spendy and the next day when I got home to Minnesota realized it was very expired. I called the store and spoke to a nice gentleman who apologized and took down my information. The next day I received an email from Casey the general manager apologizing once again and saying he had a new bottle in the mail for me. Two days later I receive a care package including the fresh bottle as well as a chocolate bar, cashews, and Elk jerky which was quite the nice touch. He even included a handwritten thank-you letter for my business. What a well-run establishment this is and I will continue going back there often when I visit Colorado annually and look forward to thanking him in person. I've always felt this but yesterday, when I interacted with staff that I'd not seen or met before....it hit me that I've never expressed this to you what a fantastic job you've done. I was walking towards the deli to get a sandwich and had 2 bottles of wine and a 6-pack in hand....a girl working on produce asked if I needed a basket - nice to have noticed! At the deli, everyone is so friendly, natural, and professional....and just easy to interact with. My Philly sandwich was great, too! We notice service and professionalism - or lack of it - all over. Your staff at Atlas are the perfect balance of friendly, professional, helpful, and pleasant. Great people all of them! The selection of wine, beer, and liquor is more than one could ask for and the grocery has such a great mix of over-the-top unique and specialty items AND basic goods, too. read more

So I met this guy at a brewery I frequent... well that I almost live in and we've talked a number of times about a lot of stuff but mainly about beer. He's brought in more than a few beers which he found at many different places around CO and is always generous and lets me try a taste too. He knows way more about beer than I probably ever will including where to procure those rather obscure highly sought after items that many hop heads covet. Besides somehow being involved with concert setup or sound? he also works full time at a liquor store. This liquor store to be exact and his knowledge and easy going attitude I think have contributed to one of the best and most extensive beer selections I've seen in any medium sized store i've ever visited. Their wine and liquor selection is also pretty well represented as well and like the beer seems reasonably priced. Whenever i'm out this way, I know where i'll be stopping by to pick up my goods! If you live in Louisville, Lafayette, or Erie, GO HERE! This store has a great selection of beers, including some limited distribution breweries. The employees are very helpful and greet you with a smile, and sometimes by name. The meat and fish butcher has high quality goods. Great cheese selection. Limited other items like gifts, produce, dry goods, snacks. You can easily create a meal with a quick trip to Atlas Valley--might cost you a little more than visiting the local SafeSoopers, but did I mention SMILES? And good beer. read more

I love that they expanded into market and deli. Their market is excellent! Beer wine groceries naturally oriented products like Burt's Bees... My 4 not 5 star review is because their deli sandwich selection is extremely limited and low quality. $7 for a hot dog roll sandwich is a good deal--I suppose if you're a large person or cross fit guru you may need 3-4 sandwiches to satisfy your appetite. There are only a few selections and if they don't call to you there are only 2-3 other options in their cold case. I'm wishing their deli was more full service restaurant. It reminds me of Cheese Importers in Longmont but without the depth and quality of food. Maybe if they become more popular their menu will expand and deepen. read more

Ordered a apple smoked ham and cheese sandwich and it was so dang good, really hardy with lots of filling on GF bread, worth the price.
