The sound and the joy gave off such a great vibe immediately when walking into this establishment. This review is based on a sit down dinner and a take out on another night because our sit down was so good! Here's all that we tried: POST CHEDDAR BISCUITS - hot and cheesy - these were not as flakey as they looked like they were going to be. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. ROASTED BRUSSELS SPROUTS - sweet and spicy peppers, garlic mojo, cotija cheese | *a portion of sales from this item go to Zero Foodprint -- an org working to combat climate change in the food & beverage industry - these were good, great crispiness, char was flavorful and the sauce was sweet and tangy. Subsequently, I made a hash for breakfast with leftovers from here and these proved to be GOOD flavoring. GREEN CHILE BISON SAUSAGE BOARD (LAFAYETTE) - Rock river bison sausages, hard boiled eggs, dill pickles, bread and butter pickle relish, baked baguette, peach honey mustard - I'm a sucker for charcuterie, the bison sausage was so delicious, I ordered another after we finished the first. This also went into the next day hash! FRIED HALF CHICKEN - our famous gluten free fried chicken, choice of side, pickles, and a biscuit - ordered this on or second visit (takeout night) and did not regret a thing. It was fantastically fried to crispy perfection. The chicken was juicy and tasted like they brined it in pickle juice. CHICKEN TENDERS - all natural tenders, breaded and fried, served with ranch - good chicken, also went into the hash. OG POST BURGER*- american cheese, bacon onion jam, special sauce, griddled sourdough english muffin & fries - good burger, personally, I'd appreciate better cheese! QUINOA & KALE - quinoa, kale, arugula, roasted sweet potatoes, pickled red onions, roasted tomatoes, cucumbers, toasted sesame and sunflower crunch, lemon tahini dressing - the dressing MADE this salad, good job Chef! PUEBLO GREEN CHILE MAC & CHEESE - nothing spectacular, I would have liked this with more green chile and a better cheese base. The parking isn't a lot, but it didn't seem like people had trouble at all. We walked. It's a great little neighborhood restaurant. As I said early on, it was tasty enough to warrant a second visit!

The chicken, which is supposed to be the signature dish was overcooked and dry. The huevos rancheros and breakfast burrito were good, but not great. We've had better. And here I thought I'd found my new favorite "spirits store" because they do have a great selection…read moreof everything and are conveniently located. However...my 2nd time stopping in I picked up a 6-pack of Asahi bottles out of the refrigerator and the bottom of the cardboard case immediately gave out, the bottles fell and broke all over the floor. I took the broken cardboard case to the woman at checkout to let her know and she took the case and started to ring it up saying "OK you will have to pay for that." And I said "but the bottom gave out - I don't think that's my fault" but she proceeded to ring me up saying "You will have to pay for it." I am too much of a rule follower I guess and went ahead and paid the $19.99 but kept letting her know I didn't think this was reasonable. She told me "this isn't my store." So for the ensuing 3 weeks I have been trying to call and stop by to speak with an owner or manager - she is the only employee I've ever found in the store, no one has ever picked up the phone in 15 calls and their email box is full. We host a lot of parties and I would have been a consistent and faithful customer, but alas, I will never be back.

There are a few good employees at the store! However, I can't give them five stars because there…read moreis a employee there, mostly in the evenings, who burns so much incense that is absolutely smoky in the building. The smell is very pungent and every time I've been in there, other clients are also having an issue with it. I've tried my best to reach out to the owner or manager with no response. They do have a large selection, so if you're not sensitive to a lot of incense being burnt, then this is definitely a good place for you to go however, if you do not like heavy smells and smoke, I would say to go anywhere else. If by chance, the owner/Manager contacts me back. I might change this review if possible.

I was Yelp Elite for nearly a decade, but have since gotten too busy and distracted to be writing…read morereviews. Every once in awhile an experience so either inspires me or irritates me that I'm motivated to return. I've lived in Boulder a long time, but recently moved to this side of town. I was looking to discover a new local wine shop to frequent, and although we got off to a rocky start, I was beginning to think this place could be my go-to. I typically buy a case of wine at a time. I've been in maybe 4x for cases, and a handful of other times for the one-off bottle here or there. I'm a health care worker and the last few months have been rough. I was driving by the other day in the brief period I have between work (stressful) and home (small child not in school), and realized I was overdue to refill my wine stock. I had a particularly challenging day and was near tears. Perusing wine is a happy distraction, and I thought I just had enough time -about 30 minutes, to pick out a case and a few bottles of liqueur. I had to cram a phone call into this time as well. I hurry in and the place has one customer in it. It's mid-afternoon on a weekday. I notice the sign on the door that says they have a 3 customer limit. Seems low to me, but good deal, they're trying to be safe. I spend about 20 minutes going back and forth between various wine sections trying to choose my case. I have 7 bottles in my cart, but I'm struggling with the last few because their selection is pretty picked over. They don't have most of the bottles I typically get, and their selection between $20 and $30 is much lower than usual. I suddenly look up to the usual young short-haired blonde woman with an angry, self-righteous expression on her face. She tells me I'm taking too long, I need to end my phone call and check out right now. I tell her I'm trying to pick out a case. She says there's a line of people trying to come in and I need to get out to make room for them. I'm mortified. In my sad-haze, I've been rude by spending too much time in the store! People are waiting for me! I quickly end my phone call, and rush up to the front where I discover the following. There is no line. There is one other person in the store who is checking out before me, so I wait in line for them to finish. The employee is laughing and chatting with the woman about how much business they are doing during COVID, and how much money they are making. There's about 10 different ways she could have alerted me to any worry she may have had that I was taking too long without lying and being rude. I guess this shop is doing so well on the backs of everyone's stress, isolation, depression and anxiety during COVID that they feel they can afford to lose customers. And since there's at least 3 other wine shops in Boulder with a great selection where the employees have always been kind and helpful, luckily I'll be in good hands.
