This is my second review however Caramelo has been back with Dr. Stan and the AMAZING team a total of three times since my first review! I full heartedly trust them with Caramelo, he's a nervous boy but definitely trusts everyone here even if he's ready to get going to the exit! I brought him in 6/23 as I thought he might have had an ear infection, thankfully not. But I was taught how to properly flush his ear and was able to purchase an ear flush that was recommended. He went back a week later for his annual vaccinations and he did great! No side effects thankfully (of course every dog/fur baby is different and this is the experience of Caramelo). And I came in today for a last minute concern which ended up being nothing. Every single time, they have been absolutely amazing. Dr. Stan is very straightforward and explains everything throughly. The entire team is very welcoming and I would 100% recommend coming here for any general or urgent needs! Thank you so so so much for caring for Caramelo!

This whole vet team is awesome! Dr. Stan is one of the most kindest person I've meet, he saved mine and my disabled veteran husbands companion animal (Mimi). He gave us more time to have her in our lives, which means the world to us. We were unfortunately there preparing to say good bye to her, believing it would be the only thing we could do. This man's suture skills are amazing! The incision site looks great. Both me and my husband are extremely thankful for the kindness and helpfulness of this vet team, we highly recommend them and will be continuing to go to them for our future veterinary needs for our fur babies.

First time going was actually a sad day for us as we had to put our 11 year-old bulldog down the staff and Dr were so compassionate. They let us stay in there for a while and hug her and they're just amazing people very caring to animals. I recommend this place 100 %.

My Yorkie has been a patient of Dr. Stan's for years, and when he started a new practice, I followed without hesitation. He is an exceptional veterinarian--knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely compassionate. He takes the time to explain everything, answer questions, and create a treatment plan that feels personalized to my dog's needs. Atlas is an impressive clinic with advanced technology and services that go beyond routine veterinary care. The staff is welcoming, and the level of attention and professionalism is outstanding. Most importantly, I trust Dr. Stan completely. He has consistently provided excellent care for my dog, and I know she is in the best hands. I highly recommend both Dr. Stan and Atlas to anyone looking for exceptional veterinary care.

I have a 100-lb German Shepherd, and anyone with a large dog knows how challenging things like nail trims, blood draws, and even routine exams can be. Despite that, my yearly visits have always been a positive experience thanks to Dr. Stan. Dr. Stan has consistently been patient, gentle, and exceptionally knowledgeable. I'm very meticulous when it comes to my dog's health, and I truly value a veterinarian who practices thoughtful, evidence-based medicine. He takes the time to assess carefully, explains things clearly, and makes recommendations that feel medically sound rather than excessive. He was impressively accurate in diagnosing the issue without ordering unnecessary tests. That level of precision and integrity is rare. He recommends what is truly needed so no overtesting, no pressure. Just good medicine. I used to see him at his Pasadena practice and now drive the extra distance to Atlas Veterinary Hospital to continue care and support his new clinic. I'm so glad I did. The facility is so new and clean, modern, and welcoming. The staff is friendly, professional, and clearly experienced. The addition of urgent care services and weekend hours is incredibly helpful for those of us with demanding schedules. When it comes to my dog's health, trust is everything. I would much rather drive a few extra miles to see a veterinarian I fully trust than risk inconsistent care, unnecessary expenses, or questionable diagnoses elsewhere. I'm deeply grateful for the care Dr. Stan has provided over the years. Atlas Veterinary Hospital is a fantastic addition to the community, and I highly recommend them, especially for anyone who wants a vet that combines compassion with true medical expertise. PS: I asked for the muzzle. He is a trained dog but just in css

I can't say enough great things about Atlas Vet Hospital. Dr. Stan and the staff are incredible--kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about your pet. The facility is clean, modern, and top of the line. If you're on the fence, don't wait--you won't regret bringing your pet here. Thank you for everything!

Absolutely beyond thankful for the care that Dr. Stan and his amazing team gave my fur baby Snoopy and family. They were truly incredible in every aspect. They made sure we were aware of everything with such precision and care. My snoopy had a foreign obstruction in his intestines for far too long and we were unsure of how to handle it. Praise God, we found Atlas here in La Verne! Dr. Stan provided us with information that we needed to move forward with this surgery and he did a beautiful job. We were unsure how we were going to be able to afford it, but Dr. Stan was absolutely wonderful as we were able to figure out a payment that was well worth it!! This establishment truly cares for our pets and that is shown through their actions and words. He was informative about absolutely everything and answered every question we had. Even the discharge notes were detailed and clear on instructions for after care. Their clinic is absolutely beautiful! So clean and pristine. My family sings praises for this veterinary clinic and HIGHLY recommend this wonderful establishment. We felt our worries were heard and our Snoopy was in the best possible hands. We are so blessed and thankful to have found Atlas, Dr. Stan, and his awesome team. Thank You

The nicest vet office I've ever been to!

The only vet you'll ever need. Dr. Stan is truly a one of a kind vet. Throughout my 15 years in the pet industry, speaking with vets about client dogs, as well as hosting clinics, and taking my pets to various other vets when needed, I haven't met someone I trust more. He's honest, he won't sell you on treatments and diagnostics he doesn't feel necessary. If he recommends something, he really means it. I drove from Glendale today to see him and will continue to make the drive when my pets need care! At Atlas, they can get you in quick and on Sundays, without emergancy vet prices. The office is beautiful and spacious. My cat felt instantly at ease in the new space, as you can see in the photos! All this to say, go here. See Dr. Stan, you will only recieve the highest level of care.

My Frenchie was having her first litter, and things became very chaotic very quickly. On the way to the hospital, she had her first puppy right there in the front seat of my truck! When we arrived, I called to let them know what was happening, and they were kind enough to come outside and help bring her and her newborn puppy inside. From that moment on, I felt like she was in good hands. The staff was incredibly welcoming, gentle, and compassionate. They knew how to keep me calm without overwhelming me with how serious her C-section was. I was scared and had so many questions, but someone was always there to explain the process and talk me through what was happening. There was honestly no wait time, they took her in right away. I also really appreciated how comfortable they made me feel discussing the cost of everything. I never felt pressured or like I was being pushed to make a decision based on money. Everything was explained clearly, and I felt respected throughout the entire experience. My Frenchie is now home recovering, and I'm so grateful to everyone who took care of her and her puppies. Thank you for being so kind, patient, and compassionate during what was an incredibly scary night for me. I truly appreciate everything Dr. Roy & team did for my girl.

We…read moretook our 6 year old otherwise healthy Labradoodle in due to extreme lethargy and swelling. Intake was fine, but that was the only part of the experience that was. Our dog was taken away for testing and we were left to fill out paperwork. While we were doing that, another patient was trying to make payment for their dog's sudden euthanasia. His card was not working and he was offering alternate ways to pay with no real help or feedback from reception. He felt a bit panicked...his significant other was crying in the exam room while the fact that his card declined had become a very public discussion in the lobby. While we were there an owner came in with a dog that had been hit by a car and another owner came in with a pet with a snake bite. Both were visibly rattled. I had to help one of the owners fill out the intake paperwork, as no help was offered. While we have a dog being put to sleep in one room, two frantic owners in the lobby, and me anxiously awaiting test results, the two people at the front desk talked about their weekend plans and laughed. This went on the entire time I was in the lobby. We were taken to an exam room. The doctor could not pull up the xray images. After waiting for some time, my nerves were frazzled and I ask that she simply dictate what she found, as we did not need visuals. She denied my request and left for 15-20 minutes while trying to figure out how to get the results sent to the correct computer. That wait was horrible as we had absolutely no clue as to what was going on. She finally returned and told us that there was an issue with our dog's spleen and that the surgery would be $8,000 and "probably not worth it." The other options were to take her home and simply wait for natural death, take her home with Chinese herbs that would help death come sooner but not ease the pain, or put her to sleep. At that time I asked my husband to bring our children down to say goodbye. Understand, that morning we left for work with a perfectly healthy (so we thought) 6 year old dog and this decision was absolutely unexpected. After waiting an eternity, the tech came in and administered the medication that caused her breathing to slow and eventually stop. We never saw the doctor after our decision was made. No one offered condolences or their expressed regret that we had such a heavy experience. In fact, though there were signs on two doors that said "please be quite, someone is saying goodbye to a loved one" we walked out with red, swollen faces to staff still cracking jokes behind the desk. It felt surreal. Sometime later a voicemail was left letting me know her remains were ready for pick up. Before I could call back, they placed a second call. Quite frankly, I wasn't ready to take that call knowing what it was about, but I answered. The person on the other end was very matter of fact and ended the conversation saying that if I don't come by the end of the week my dog's remains would "be disposed of." Mind you, this is the first time their office ever talked to me...it isn't like months or even weeks had passed since I was given this information. Additionally, my dog's cremation was a service that I paid several hundreds for. To act like they were doing some favor by holding her 5" x 7" box in their office until I could pick her up was unacceptable and cruel. Over the years I have had many pets that passed and I have never, ever experienced such treatment. I, unfortunately, have to drive by this location daily and every time I do I think back to the poor treatment we experienced from the time we checked in until we picked up our dog's remains. I write this as a word of caution because I would genuinely hate for another pet loving family to ever experience this.

She correctly diagnosed my dog Max's issue, which my previous vet misdiagnosed. She then successfully performed surgery on Max, being very careful with the sedation because of his advanced age, but simultaneously throughly and completely treating my dog. On top of that, she spent time with us to make sure that we understood what was happening and how to follow up with Max's care at home. You can tell she really loves animals and has a heart for people. We even found out that Dr. Graham stayed almost 3 hours late to help us, after having a very challenging day with her other patients. I also really appreciate the rest of the staff here, who helped me get Max into the facility (he's heavy!), and who were both professional and kind. As above, I wish I would have come here first. Don't waste time and money going somewhere else that may misdiagnose your dog, like what happened to me. I highly recommend that you come here first, too!

We didn't get vitals until an hour later and then once we're in a room an hour after that to talk to a dr we waited for another 2 hours and then the dr tells us they'll go ahead and do the ultrasound and said it will be done anytime before 6pm because we were a "walk in" THIS WAS AN EMERGENCY SITUATION and my dog was actively dying!! Mind you we got there at 10 and the whole time his gallbladder was ruptured and leaking and there was no sense of urgency at all. Not to mention the doctors attitude was so cold and casual I believe her name was Zamora. Once the ultrasound was done around 3/4 pm we waited and waited and waited still for them to talk to us about the results probably over another hour or two we were waiting all for Zamora to come in very causally once again and say his gallbladder is the cause of all this and it has mucocele which is causing inflammation and he needs surgery. She just came in, opened her laptop and told us the findings. She didn't even SHOW us the ultrasounds or go in depth like every other place I've been to. You would think for $1,900 they would do that but no all they care about is the money and it shows. After she told us the news I say when are you doing the surgery and she responds "right now I'm holding the surgeon here" and then quotes us 17k minimum and 20k maximum for this surgery and hospitalization. So we're over here panicking and stressing because he's actively dying and they're trying to rob us and on top of that giving him a 50/50 chance of survival. Me and my mom were in panic trying to find another way another place to just save my dog since this is just not realistic for an average person but they seem to think otherwise. Anyway we asked if we could have a moment to discuss and make phone calls and throughout this whole time suddenly they were readily available and not busy and kept coming in to the room asking if we've made a decision yet and then at one point come in to say "so you're not doing surgery then? So I can send the surgeon away" how could they say that when all they had done all day was making us wait and suddenly it's urgent only when it comes to getting money!! And every time I asked a question regarding his rupture and gallbladder the lady kept saying "let me ask" "let me check" because the doctor that was just there had already disappeared!! We ended up making a phone call to an amazing vet hospital in Tijuana called "hospital de Mascotas SAJI" we called them and they said to bring him in as soon as we could so we got our baby back from this place and declined the surgery which they did not look too happy about. On the way to TJ, the vets over there were asking for all his lab work in order to be prepared for his surgery and when I called marqueen for his records and ultrasound results to be emailed to me they took over an hour and I had to call 3 times! said the doctor needs to sign off even though we were just there and we're entitled to our records. We made our way to Tijuana Mexico where they did a quick ultrasound that took minutes as soon as we got there and then proceeded with surgery. Unfortunately our baby didn't make it I only wish I would have come to this place in Mexico sooner. If only MarQueen treated this as an emergency as it was after all it's in their name and did tests sooner perhaps we could have gotten him to his surgery sooner and he would have had more of a chance since he was too far gone by the time the whole day of waiting around has passed. To everyone reading this I suggest you find a vet in Mexico or go to this one for a pet emergency or even any need. They care so much more about your pet for not even a fraction of the cost and on top of that they were COMPASSIONATE. I was also quoted $1,800 in Mexico for the same surgery, medication and hospitalization if my baby had pulled through.

He recommended an ophthalmologist, who ordered a CT scan, which indeed showed the tumor. Dr. Patlogar knew it was most likely a lymphoma, and started prednisone and L-asparaginase while waiting for an oncologist to see Benny. The oncologist concurred completely with Dr. Patlogar's assessment and treatment. Because of his timely decisions, Benny survived long enough to get radiation therapy. He has been back to his old self since. I am amazed at, and very grateful for, Dr. Patlogar's clinical expertise. He basically saved Benny. Furthermore, everyone at IVVS from the receptionists to the nurses consistently showed compassion and attention to my cat and me. I brought her here, upon entering, Skylar greeted me and was very nice. She advised me that there was a "2 hour wait" which was fine. After about 1 hour, a technician cameout to look at my dog, he took her back and about 15 minutes later another technician cameout with the proposal. They sutured her back up and we picked her up about 2 hours later. The price was very reasonable and we were very happy with the service, we will definitely be back if we ever need any emergency services!

When I called VCA for assistance, Salina immediately stepped up to help. On multiple occasions, I had to bring him in, and each time she greeted me with a smile and was ready to assist. She took the time to sit with me, listen to my frustration, and understand my concerns about my dog. She never rushed me, and I never felt as though she didn't care or that I was just another customer. That meant the world to me. I genuinely felt heard. All of the staff at VCA deserve a big thank you. From the doctors to the reception team, everyone has been truly outstanding. You all have my heartfelt appreciation.

But I think people deserve to know about these vets. My 4 yr old Pomsky was experiencing issues breathing at around 10pm on March 31st 2025. I had this location in my notes as a top choice ER since they are the closest to my home. My Pomsky abruptly died and unfortunately, she was already gone by the time I placed her in my car. I still wanted to fight to save her. I rushed her to this VCA ER and I stormed into the building with my limp 25 lb dog in my arms, and the receptionist IMMEDIATELY jumped up and lifted her arms and collected my beautiful girl. I begged them to try to save her and try if they could. They immediately took me into a room and told me softly they'd do everything in their power. Minutes later, they gently told me she passed and I was grateful how empathetic and kind they were to me. They allowed me to see her and say my goodbyes and they offered cremation services. They were sweet, empathetic and kind to me the whole time. They told me to stay however long I needed to. Fast forward to a few days to a week....they sent me a card with all their notes and signatures sharing their condolences and showing so much kindness for my beautiful angel. I still have the card. Thank you all so much . The very next week after, I received in person a beautiful box with her ashes, nd her paw prints and a piece of her fur. This vet gave me so much reassurance and closure I needed. I love you guys.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about ACCESS in Pasadena. Over the years, they have cared for…read moreseveral of our beloved animals, including our sweet Artie, who recently passed away, and our girl Moo, whom we lost last year. Through some incredibly difficult and emotional situations, the team at ACCESS has consistently treated our animals -- and us -- with compassion, kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. Rebecca, Natalie, Vanessa, and so many others have gone above and beyond for us. The communication from the entire team has always been excellent. They make sure we understand what is happening, help us get the records and information we need, answer questions thoughtfully, and are consistently responsive and helpful. Those things matter so much when you are scared, overwhelmed, or trying to make decisions for an animal you love. Every time we have needed emergency or specialty care, we have felt like our dogs were in capable, thoughtful hands. It is such a gift to have a veterinary team that not only clearly loves animals, but is also smart, thorough, communicative, and exceptionally good at what they do. Dr. Cole was Moo's cardiologist, and we were incredibly grateful for the care she received. Dr. Naman also performed surgery on Artie's leg several years ago, and because of that surgery he was able to run freely and enjoy his life again. We will always be thankful for that. Losing Artie and Moo has been heartbreaking, but when I think about the care they received at ACCESS throughout their lives, I feel an enormous amount of gratitude. They were treated with dignity and compassion, and we always felt that the people caring for them genuinely wanted the very best for them. Our experiences with ACCESS have been consistently excellent -- from cardiology and surgery to emergency visits, communication, follow-up, and helping us with records afterward. They are thoughtful, organized, kind, and willing to go the extra mile. We feel incredibly lucky that we found ACCESS, and I really wanted to give their team the shoutout they deserve. Whenever one of our animals needs care in the future, ACCESS will continue to be one of the first places we trust. They are simply the best in veterinary care, hands down. We are so grateful to everyone there who has cared for our little family over the years. THANK YOU everyone at Access for always taking such good care of us and our fur babies

It was our first time within the ACCESS network so we did not know that the Cardiology Department was separate from Internal Medicine and the Emergency Department. We didn't know that there were so many varying departments. It didn't set in that this was a specialty clinic not a traditional veterinarian office (even though "specialty animal hospital" is literally in their name...haha). The Cardiology Department was on the second floor in a building shared with other companies. The office was clean and peaceful. The women at the front desk were kind and patient. They answered our questions and were helpful. We were seen quickly in the consultation room and I love that the nurse drew a cute little picture with cat ears and whiskers, and put our cat's name on the white dry erase board that was outside of the consultation room. She listened intently to our concerns as it had already been confirmed that the referring veterinarian had provided our cat's health records. We fully expected to wait a while for the doctor since we were about forty minutes early but about five minutes later Dr. Cole greeted us warmly with a team of onlookers (supporting doctors, maybe interns too not exactly sure). Dr. Cole was patient and explained the process for examining our cat's heart health. He answered our questions and took our fur baby for the testing. Around twenty minutes later he and his team returned with the results. He explained the prescription medicine that would be beneficial for our cat and gave further medical advice for our cat. I really appreciated the transparency and clarity around the results. I felt relieved to have such a warm, competent and friendly doctor handling the care for our fur baby. It wasn't cheap but it was worth it. Grateful to Dr. Steven Cole and ACCESS Pasadena!

We had to put our beLOVEd cat to sleep yesterday. Since it was an emergency hospital, we couldn't just show up at the appointment time but wait about 90 minutes, which was hard but I understand other pets had emergency situations. The all female staff (?) were kind, calm, and wonderful. This team must enjoy working together. The process was polished and caring, and Dr. Crossin made us feel like she's known us and our little boy for years. I miss him so much already and I'm happy this place was here for us. ************************ I'm surprised at how low the Yelp rating is here. My best guess is that when people love an animal and have to spend big bucks on emergency surgeries and such, the frustration bleeds thru to reviews. In life or death scenarios, our emotions run high and sometimes expect too much from people who can only do so much? Nothing about our experience here indicated haphazard or inconsiderate care, for what that's worth.

On the early morning of May 7th, I brought my dog in for labored breathing. After X-rays, the vet determined he had an asthma attack caused by allergies and that his lungs were inflamed. They administered an injection to calm his breathing and sent us home with steroids. However, by 4:00 AM on May 8th, his breathing was still strained, so we returned. He received another injection and a prescription for Albuterol. Unfortunately, the pharmacy process became a nightmare. A local CVS could not fill the script due to technical errors in the way it was written. I then placed an order through Chewy.com on the morning of May 8th. By May 10th, Chewy confirmed they were still waiting for the clinic's approval. When I called the clinic to follow up, I had the misfortune of speaking with Naomi. I explained that my dog had been struggling to breathe for two days and asked why the approval was being delayed. She was incredibly rude and insensitive. When I expressed my desperation to get my dog his medication, she told me that if he couldn't breathe, I should simply "take him to a different clinic." When I told her I was going to bring him back to AEC, she said they were no longer accepting patients today. When I asked to speak to someone else besides her, she placed me on hold for 25 minutes. When I tried to call back three times from my own phone, the calls were sent immediately to hold. Suspecting I was being screened, I called from a friend's phone, Naomi answered immediately. When I asked why I was being sent straight to hold, she stated she would leave me there until she had "new information." I was so shocked with her condescending tone. I even asked if she was hearing the way she was speaking to me, she replied, "Yes, I am," and put me back on hold. After being left back on hold for several minutes, I hung up and called back. Bella answered the phone. She was the complete opposite of Naomi. Bella went out of her way to help me. I told her I no longer wanted to wait for the approval for Chewy to fill the order and was going to see if I could fill the prescription at Walmart. Bella called around to different Walmart locations to confirm they had the Albuterol in stock. Thanks to Bella, I finally have the medication. While I appreciate the medical diagnosis and Bella's help, Naomi's lack of compassion was unacceptable. No pet owner in distress should be treated with such hostility, especially when the delay involves watching their beloved pet suffering. If you bring your pet here, please be cautious of Naomi's involvement in your care. I have seen other reviews talk about an emergency vet in Redlands. I was not aware there was one. I can't imagine returning to this clinic now after the treatment I received from Naomi.
