Nate does a nice job talking you through everything in the inspection process, and you can tell he knows about customer service. Sometimes the inspectors can be a little gruff, or maybe too direct. Nate's so personable and honest, it's a refreshing change of pace. They are also very thorough and cover top to bottom. This inspection ran us a bit more than one in the past, but that's because we added chimney and sewer specialists to it, so all in all it worked out to be about average in cost. Apparently they're very responsive as well, which is good because I have a few questions after digging into some details. Assuming the best and rounding up here based on prior communications. I'd recommend them and will with for them again down the road.

As soon as the appointment was scheduled I received an email with a thorough breakdown of what would be inspected. (There are some available add-ons like termites and radon testing, as well the fine print detailing that things like septic tanks, security systems and swingsets are beyond the scope of what would be inspected). The email allowed me to sign their disclosure online which was very easy to do. It also contained a link to use their secure online payment system. The inspector who came out (John) was really amiable. Once he was done he took us on a thorough walkthrough to point out his findings which would be further detailed in his final report. As we are first-time homebuyers he took extra time to educate us about future maintenance and upkeep tips that will help us avoid future problems. That was very appreciated! No question went unanswered and we had MANY. I had the finalized report in my email inbox by end of day. I could not be happier with my experience.

Setup an inspection date and met Chris Dollmann(Certified Master Inspector). Chris is personable, extremely knowledgeable and fully explained every issue which needed immediate attention, or anything that should be corrected, but not critical. Have purchased three homes during my lifetime(this being my last) and can say Chris is by far the most comprehensive inspector I have dealt with. All items documented and sent via PDF (with pictures). Due to Chris's thoroughness, estimates totaled $8,000 (mainly roof and electrical) of which I forwarded a copy to the seller resulting in $4000 being paid via seller at closing. The companies I spoke with offered almost identical processes and warranties, so my decision ultimately came down to communication and overall confidence.
