These issues are so bad that we've had multiple plumbers come out this week and each one is shocked that an inspector didn't catch them. In 3 separate locations we have a small drain pipe from a sink sitting loosely in a larger pipe with no connector or seal. We've had sewer gas coming into the house since the pipes are not properly sealed and water damage that runs down to the basement. After discovering these issues, I consulted their reviews page and found many negative reviews describing major issues missed during inspections. I decided to give Metro a chance to resolve the issue since they commented on some reviews offering to do just that. After describing the issues in detail to the receptionist, I received a callback from the owner who told me he knew nothing about the situation but was calling to answer my " questions about the inspection ". He then proceeded to argue with me the entire call. His main point was that I should have known that when the inspector mentioned replacing one very specific part of the plumbing, that actually meant the entire system. Further, he talked down to me from the beginning but his tone seemed to change once he heard my boyfriend in the background. I can only assume he felt a woman would be easier to belittle. Attached are photos of the plumbing issues that the inspector missed. Do not use this company, you will pay for not only the mediocre inspection but also the issues they miss.

As soon as the tenant moved in, problems began showing up. Of course, he blamed the tenant, but one problem that definitely is not the tenant's fault (not that I think any of them are), is that the garage door was installed incorrectly. His answer to that was that it opened and closed okay. A good inspector would have seen that the installation was incorrect and noted that on the report, which he didn't do. The cost to fix all the problems has been substantial, and he takes no responsibility. I don't recommend the use of either this company or Mr. Allsbury.

We are, sadly, yet another victim of the Folsom pinhole leaks. We previously had two pinhole leaks,…read moreone in the ceiling of the garage and one outside near the pipes to the sprinklers. This latest one was a hot water leak under the slab in the master closet, and the final straw. Due to our previously outstanding experience with Michael and Leak Finders, they were our first call, and our only call. Michael quickly detected the leak and then explained our options: 1) Only fix the leak 2) Repipe only the hot water 3) Repipe both the hot and cold. He thoroughly explained all our options, including exactly what would be done for each scenario, and the cost. Since this was our third leak we decided to go with the repipe. I can't stress this enough, Michael is punctual, communicates clearly, very meticulous and very clean. The job took 2 weeks. Every single day he was on time. Each day he vacuumed the areas he worked in and put his tools away. If it weren't for the holes we wouldn't even know he'd been there. He limited the holes that had to be made and explained to me every day what he'd be working on. My wife joked he left the house cleaner when he left each day than it was before he arrived. The job is done now and we are thrilled with the work he did. We can't recommend him highly enough. We all have our contractor horror stories. You definitely wouldn't get anything other than a success story with Michael and Leak Finders. We are confident the days of pinhole leaks are behind us. He also added several more hose bibs for us where there were none before. We have have on on every side of our house. A positive side note is we also get our hot water more quickly, and it gets hotter faster. I've only posted a few of the pictures. He treated us and our house with great care. Setup an inspection date and met Chris Dollmann(Certified Master Inspector). Chris is personable, extremely knowledgeable and fully explained every issue which needed immediate attention, or anything that should be corrected, but not critical. Have purchased three homes during my lifetime(this being my last) and can say Chris is by far the most comprehensive inspector I have dealt with. All items documented and sent via PDF (with pictures). Due to Chris's thoroughness, estimates totaled $8,000 (mainly roof and electrical) of which I forwarded a copy to the seller resulting in $4000 being paid via seller at closing.
