It gave me some relief for a couple of years. In the past 2 months I have taken Platelet-Rich Plasma shots; 2 in each knee. The results are unbelievable. I can literally jog after these treatments. I also have a torn rotator cuff and slap tears of my shoulder. Unfortunately, I have not had any success with the PRP shots for my shoulder, and will be going for surgery. I strongly recommend that if anyone experiences joint problems and wants to avoid surgery, they should consider visiting this practice. I did a lot of homework before I agreed to these shot. My family didn't place dad there blindly, it was by choice, after weighing all the options. We have a family member who is a long term resident there currently as well as a long time family friend who is there too. They love the care they receive and the staffers they receive it from. Their recommendations were well received. From the moment I entered the front door and was greeted by the front desk attendant Lana, I knew dad was in a great, loving, caring and Holy place. I went up to dad's floor, was greeted by every staff member I passed. Not just on my first visit, but every visit. No matter how busy they were, every single person said hello. As time went on, those greetings were by name. It truly felt like dad was being cared for by loving family. My visits only lasted a week or so as I live about 700 miles away, but my experience and my opinions of my dad's treatment are fact based. He could not have received better care anywhere else. The facility was spotless, well maintained and the staff all love why they do. It takes a special kind of person to do this work. Ozanam is blessed with the best. Ozanam is even updating the rooms one floor at a time. It's nice to see the investment back into the facilities. The office staff was extremely helpful, kind and very communicative. They assisted in every way possible, making the daunting logistics of dealing with the insurance companies a less daunting part of the experience. I could not ask for better! I'd like to name everyone I met there who cared for me dad and assisted my family throughout, but I would have to name every person in the public eye as well as everyone behind the scenes there. By God's plan, my dad, Donald B. declined due to advancing medical conditions. He received great personal care and was treated with dignity up to and beyond when he took his final breath. He passed on Sept 22, peacefully in his sleep. The staffers who knew him were as sad as we are. Thank you to everyone at Ozanam Hall of Queens for all you do for every person in your care every day. This place is hell on earth for the vulnerable elderly.

I deal with neck pain that would sometimes force out of bed at 3am and I would have to sleep sitting up to make the pain go away. Ever since I started coming to this facility, I have not had that problem any more. I am currently still rehabilitating my neck but the progress has been excellent! I can sleep until it's time to go to work. That's something I won't take for granted anymore. The staff are brilliant and fantastic! Rose and Ziba work at the front desk and are sincere, sweet and extremely helpful. They make sure you're informed of everything you need to know and are on top of your appointments. Rose also steps in to help you with exercises when needed. Very knowledgeable and reliable. Venki, is the PT. He does an excellent job communicating in the sense of seeing where you are. He'll always ask if you feel okay from stretches to make sure there is no discomfort. I really like that we have conversations on the possible triggers of the neck pain and always proposes solutions. Dr. Andrew, provides the chiropractic care of the therapy. Filled with personality. Makes you laugh while giving me major insight into my injury. There are those that swear by their Chiropractor and there are those who don't even believe in going to a Chiropractor. I have had experience with many chiropractors and I understand both perspectives. I have tried Chiropractors that accomplished absolutely nothing. I have also had the pleasure and relief of finding Chiropractors like Doctor Roit, that become trusted saviors from the pain that can resonate from the back and throughout the body. As with anything; you have your good apples and you have your bad apples. Doctor Roit is one of the best! I was barely able to get out of bed this morning and stand up straight. The pain resonating from what I believed to be the sciatic nerve had me almost completely frozen, locked, and collapsing to the floor. My biggest fear was I was not going to be able to stand and support my own body weight within the next 24 hours because this was not the first time experiencing this before. And I know first hand and could never forget how unbelievably worse and relentless the pain can become. I walked into Dr. Roit's office today having to take baby steps. Once he assessed me he got to work and by the time I left his office; I was standing up straight, taking normal walking strides with pain at a minimum. I was told not to worry that they do not accept my insurance, because they will accept whatever my insurance does not cover. I now received a bill for $665! It's outrageous! They told me that because I felt better after one treatment and no longer needed their services, I have to pay. Where as if I continued coming for treatment and continued to pay the $20 copay, I would not have had to pay this bill. Outrageous! The only reason I went once is because I did not care for the therapist or the office as a whole. They either accept what my insurance pays or they don't.
