This is a great little store especially for those who are into horror merchandise. Located in a strip mall, they have everything here.. stickers, books, T-shirts, movies, figurines etc. We stopped in a little before Halloween so the place was pretty busy but not too crowded to be uncomfortable. It was really cool to see the different items related to different movie franchises Chucky, Friday the 13th, Halloween and The Terrifier were just some of the franchises represented here. You can definitely spend some time here looking at all the cool stuff and there are a couple of cool photo op such as a life size Jason Voorhees. The prices were reasonable but some things you could most likely find for less elsewhere. Staff was super friendly. read more

I heard about this place thru Youtube I believe. As a horror lover, I knew I had to check this place out. This store is AMAZING! The store has a little bit of everything: shirts, stickers, paintings, etc. A lot of places you find the same old: Michael Myers, Terrifer, etc. but this place had really old school stuff and new school. The shop is a decent size and if I didn't have to go on a plane, I would have bought A LOT more (especially the drawings/paintings). The store was very organized and clean and the service was great. Everyone was very friendly! The only downside for me was that there was no "Goosebumps" or "Are you Afraid of the Dark" merchandise. If they did, that would have made my whole visit! read more

The shop has everything from stickers to button down shirts, great atmosphere and props, a TV playing movies and a reel to reel tape player playing the reading of the Necronomicon from the Evil Dead series. I was eager to visit this horror store I had seen it a few times on social media and being a horror fan had the chance while I was in Orlando. The staff welcomes you in a dragging matter while looking through their phones, they just kind of sat there in the little square checkout area and didn't seem to engage with anyone in the store, unless someone was purchasing to charge them. They do have a lot of cool horror stuff, highly priced some you can get elsewhere for less. They do have awesome scenery and spooky decorations it was fun and I can say I visited the store. It's not as cool as the first visit, for sure. Yes, they have lots of cool stuff, cool photo ops, and neat themed merchandise. This was in October so it may have been busier than normal, but still, things could have been better. One super annoying thing is they have a TV playing videos. It think it was playing old Tosh.0 reruns or something like that. The dump part is the TV is right between 2 racks of T-Shirts, so with a bunch of people standing there watching TV, it's kind of hard to work your way in to browse. Speaking of Shirts... Can someone tell me how they're organized? It's confusing as there are different sections and each rack has the variety of sizes. And there are SO many shirts, that browsing through it kind of difficult. To find my size, I had to look in at least 4 different sections, and each didn't seem all that different. The staff used to welcome you in, but on my last visit, they just kind of sat there in the little square check out area and didn't seem to engage with anyone in the store, unless someone was making a purchase. In all honesty I came in here just to browse however I had no idea that they carried cakeworthy products. To me it was a mistake to look at all the killer clown merchandise because I did purchase some. I purchased a killer clowns men's XL T-shirt for $30; my fiancé is going to lose his marbles. His favorite horror franchise is killer clowns and sometimes it's so hard to find merchandise for them especially if it's not a big namebrand store like spencers. I am so happy that atomic war has now toys and other collectibles where I don't have to go to a namebrand store I can just buy it here. They are offering a sale of some sorts on the stickers it's buy two get one free so I got my third sticker for free. I did also purchase two magnets a rocky horror magnet for my fiancé for Valentine's Day and a jaws magnet. If you haven't been here I highly recommend it; they have anything horror related as well as artist made pens patches and artwork. 10/10 read more

The windows are blacked out from the inside and the ominous feeling doesn't stop there...you open that door and are transported into a horror movie lovers DREAM! FULL SIZE props to pose with and every section of merchandise are in their own themed alcoves. And amist all the things to buy and ohh and ahh at, the store is spacious, clean, and organized with plenty to offer. The obscure cult classics to modern day gore will ensure they have something for everyone in the horror movie family. I vow to collect every single tiki glass. Year-round horror? Now you're talking my language. If you're a horror nerd like myself, or someone who just knows about the classic icons then visiting this place should be on your to-do list. This shop is deceptively small from the outside but when you walk in it really opens up. There's multiple sections that are loaded with merch from pretty much any horror franchise/film you could imagine. Whether it's t-shirts, stickers, figurines, or art prints, there seems to be a good variety of things to look through. Birthday cards? Covered. Candles? They've got them. It's really no exaggeration when I say they have a little bit of everything here. What stood out to me the most when visiting was their prices. I was shocked to see they didn't even mark up their products much at all. Specifically a few of their CavityColors shirts, NECA figures & Trick Or Treat Studios figures were all priced exactly the same as online. If you consider shipping costs when ordering online, you can actually find some products here for cheaper than you would on your own. Also, considering they carry merch from all sorts of horror based companies it gave me an opportunity to finally see some things in person that I'd only seen online before. Since it's located pretty close by to all of the main attractions in Orlando I'll definitely visit every time I'm in the area now. To make things even better, the 2 women who were working were welcoming & friendly. Supporting small businesses like this is where it's at. I recently took my 15 year-old nephew on a surprise visit to Atomic Horror and we LOVED it. This is for all you horror fans out there - what a ghastly experience (lol)! Plenty of perilous purchases to be made here - my God, did I WANT that Frankenstein backpack?! Atomic Horror is definitely where you can score that "oh cool!" gift for your ghoulish guy or gal. Shout out to the team on-site for putting in the extra work. My nephew picked out - wait for it - a Dario Argento (IYKYK) t-shirt but we didn't see one in his size. One of the "friends of Fright Night" went in back and returned with just his size. Score! You can find all kinds of items here like t-shirts and toys and stickers and tikis and backpacks and so on for everything from OGs like the Addams Family and Frankenstein and Elvira to newer entries to the scream game like Stranger Things. This is such a cool horror themed shop located in Orlando. Atomic Horror is owned by UCF grad Bryan Murphy. After working as a senior political affairs specialist in New York he took a year off, and then decided he didn't want to go back. Instead he headed back to Florida and collaborated with his brother Jason (yes Jason!) to open Atomic Horror in September of 2022. The brothers wanted to sell the kind of items you can only find at cons in a location people could visit all year. At Atomic Horror you can shop T-shirts, action figures of classic horror characters, collectibles, toys, mugs, board games, and artwork. There are a lot of fun places to take a photo including with a life size Jason Voorhees. Full disclosure, I am a chicken who has to watch horror movies through closed eyes. My daughter however is a horror expert and she gives this store her full stamp of approval. Not only does it pay homage to the more commonly known slasher films like Friday the 13th but also the cult classics as well. Ever hear of Basket Case? Me neither but they have Belial in a basket. My taste in horror runs more towards Stranger Things and they had some Hellfire Club merch. Both my daughter and I loved the horror themed tiki glasses. My favorite was the Corpse Bride couple Emily and Victor. There was also a room devoted to Rocky Horror and Elvira. Hands down, one of the coolest spooky stores in the Orlando area. I honestly don't know if there are any others so this one is easily THEE coolest. The place may seem like its closed from the outside but it is for sure open, they blacked out the windows so the entire inside can have a cool vibe to it. It is a pretty nice sized space with different areas having a theme and some cool merch to buy that goes along with it. They have a nice amount of places you can take photos with, like a lifesize Jason Vorhees with a backdrop of some wooded areas. You can also buy cool Friday the 13th items here for some decent prices. There are many other things to buy like merch based around Elvira, Chucky, Evil Dead, Halloween, I can not name everything! The staff was very welcoming from the moment we opened the door. One of my favorite things is the area in the back that is designed to look like a horror themed tiki bar with cool tiki themed mugs based around some horror icons like pinhead and the gremlins! Prices are pretty reasonable and you can find some cool art posters for sale in a variety of sizes at a nice price. It will be very hard to walk out of this place without spending money for at least one thing, no matter the size. They also have a few adult oriented items that are behind curtains and cardboard so keep an eye on your kid if they are with you, looking around. read more

I've been meaning to check out Atomic Horror for a while now, but it was especially fun to visit for the first time during the Halloween season! This little shop of horrors is an absolute must-see for any horror genre fans. Don't be put off by the blacked out windows - they're there to ensure you're transported to another world once inside. I was so wowed by the theming inside that I almost didn't notice the life-sized Jason in the entryway! I really appreciate that all of the merchandise is separated and organized by franchise, which makes you feel fully immersed in each different section of the store. One second you're in Elvira's lair, and the next you're in a haunted Tikki hut. I came for Wednesday Addams merch, but stayed for the experience. I can't wait to revisit soon! read more

I was driving down east colonial in Downtown Orlando with my wife, when I notice this really awesome looking sign that had a zombie hand coming out of it. The sign was for a horror shop that is called Atomic Horror. I didn't check the store out right away, it would be a couple more weeks until I finally went inside to check the place out. I finally decided to go inside to see what Atomic Horror had to offer and what I found inside was a fully immersive horror experience, which Atomic Horror calls the horror shop of your dreams. Once you step through the doors you will find an awesome Friday the 13th scene with a life size Jason Voorhees which offers a great photo opportunity. The Friday the 13th scene was one of a few set ups that they had in the shop which also included the closet scene from the original Halloween where Michael Myers breaks through the closet paneling to attack Jamie Strode and reveal of one of the aliens in the cult classic They Live. The immersive feel of the shop is pretty impressive I love how your transported to some of the best horror franchises. The shop offers all the horror merch your heart can desires which ranges from new to old Stranger Things, Halloween Franchise, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and everything in between. They have shirts, stickers, dolls, posters pretty much everything. They also offer their own merchandise with their logo on it which I thought was pretty epic. The store is run by Daniel who is the store owner. One of my favorite things that I saw in the shop was a love letter to Halloween III: The Season of the Witch, which in my opinion is an undervalued horror movie that doesn't always get its due. They also have two areas dedicated to two of the best horror icons The Rocky Horror Show and the Queen of Horror herself Elvira the Mistress of the Dark. The whole experience of Atomic Horror is quite EPIC and I believe if you call yourself a horror fan you must find your way to Orlando, Florida so you can experience the immersive store for yourself.
