The gym safety and cleanliness have, also, deteriorated. The locker rooms and bathrooms are extremely felty to the point that its scary to step in these rooms, thinking of the increased bacteria, which puts health at risk, not in a state of wellness. After 6 weeks I am down 23 pounds and three pant sizes. The trainers at the South Des Moines location are amazing! Jesse and Fernando are knowledgable, encouraging and so supportive! I really appreciated how they pushed me to set and achieve new personal best goals. I also really appreciated the support and accountability from other Challengers and gym members. This was such a great experience for me and I'm looking forward to continuing on the journey the great team at Elite Edge helped me get started on. Not only did I see my be transformed, but this process also transforms my attitude and the way I think about food. I'm ending this challenge confident I will be able to maintain and build on what I've already achieved.

It never dawned on me how much my endurance would increase in such a small amount of time. Going into the challenge, I was nervous because I knew it was going to be tough both mentally and physically. However, it's an amazing feeling knowing that I was able to push through the entire challenge, FTDI and receive desired results. Though my determination and dedication was much needed, I also had a great support system to back me up every step of the way. I'd definitely recommend the 6-week challenge through Elite Edge to anyone who is serious about making a real lifestyle change to improve their health and physique!

This gym is amazing…read more I was looking for a gym that could challenge me and I found that in Next Level. What is Next Level? Next Level is a boot camp style gym. The way the gym is set up they have 8 week sessions and everyday of that 8 weeks is different. I loved the variety of exercises and trust me you will never be "bored" during class with all the different workout combos they offer between kickboxing, body weight exercise, dumbbells, jump roping, resistance bands, rowing, steps, and ladders. I did one trial class and fell in love and signed up for 6 months because that is how amazing I thought this place was. Who is Next Level for? Next Level is for everyone! If you interested in nonstop intense workout, then check out this gym! I would recommend checking them out first to see what you are getting yourself into but you will not regret it. The owner and trainers are the best around and very focused on getting you to the next level of your fitness journey (see what I did there? okay I am done I promise)

To compare my 1st…read moreweek where I wanted to puke, quit and give the middle finger to all the fit people, I accomplished my goal of not quitting and following through. I've signed up and have ran (3) 1/2 marathons, a few 10ks but never performed at my best because I would always quit in the middle of training. Thanks to the awesome trainers who push you to do better than your best, I lost a few lbs, a few inches, and I'm stronger mentally and physically. To see my testing results from the 1st 4 weeks compared to the 2nd 4 weeks made me proud of what I was able to do. I was able to double the weights I started with and knocked my rowing time down by 32 seconds. Next session is to complete 500 m in less than 2 minutes. The culture of the gym is probably one of the biggest reasons why I didn't quit. Everybody was focused of becoming better individually but always made time to motivate and encourage me to finish. There were so many times I didn't feel like working out but I went anyways because I had a whole class that kept me accountable. Joining NXLF is probably one of the best choices I've made in a long time. I have found an activity that challenges me on a daily basis and promotes a culture of people caring and looking out for each other. If anybody is interested, trial for next session is the week of July 31st. You go in, sign a waiver, sweat like you never sweated before and walk out in pain but hopefully, decide to go back for more. The owner/trainers will not push you into signing up, another perk I respect and appreciate it.
