Atrium Health Ballpark is the home of the Kannapolis Cannonballers, a minor league baseball affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. Going to a game is a fun and affordable way to spend the evening. Our tickets directly behind home plate cost just $15 each. Furthermore, we happened to visit on a Tuesday, when hot dogs, sofas, popcorn and pretzels are just $2 each. The stadium itself is only a couple years old and very nice. When there's no game happening, it's open to the public as a city park and there are usually a lot of people walking around the concourse and kids playing on the playground.

I agree with all the positive comments shared by my fellow Yelpers. Don't sleep on this gem of a ballpark, nestled right in the heart of the thriving downtown Kannapolis community. Welcoming, economical, lively, and fun for people of all ages. The baseball games themselves are a blast, and even just a general admission ticket will get you a 'choose your own' seat with a beautiful view of the game. They do a great job of keeping the crowd engaged throughout the game with activities and ceremonies between innings. Another great perk of this ballpark is that the community keeps it open to the public, even when the team is not playing--so it's a great place to walk around and just take in the sights of the expanding downtown. After visiting Atrium Health Ballpark, you'll understand why it won ballpark of the year in 2022! Get here early and stay late to enjoy the surrounding businesses before and after the games too!

What a ballpark! Don't let the low A class fool ya, these guys have it all. Great stadium with major league vibes. This stadium is brand nee just missing its rookie year due to Covid. Props to the local government keeping it open (along with sometimes bar and concession stand) whether there's a game or not. Yep, you can go walk this park on an off day. The team is a White Sox low A team feeding into Winston-Salem and on up to Chicago. There's some real talent here at most Cannonballers games. And there's not a bad seat in the house to watch the prospects. From the organist to the food and drink options nearby this is a major league vibe. You can walk all the way around the stadium, concessions range from sushi to footling hotdogs.

Very nice ballpark in Kannapolis! The park atmosphere was clean, inviting, and engaging for all age groups. Enjoyed a nice family reunion outing together. Get there early for a good parking space.

built on the site of the former Cannon Mills the new stadium will eventually host the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers (formerly the Intimidators (really)) of the Class A South Atlantic League when play resumes. kinda neat that most of the stadium is open to the public most of the day on most of the days so it's more like a park park than a ballpark and that in itself makes this place stand out for funness. add onsite food service plus a 20,000 square foot play zone with a splash pad in season and $50M outlay starts to look reasonable. if actual baseball ever happens again the fan experience will include an oddly intrusive outfield bar area, a grassy picnic knoll, four levels of café-style high-tops near the right field corner, sky boxes, ground boxes, a fancy club, some family-friendly carnival style games, a giant TV, and very little NASCAR. yeah, it's odd that I haven't been to a professional stick-and-ball game since before the turn of the century and here I am at my second ballpark in less than a month :-\ yea CoViDiocy!

We can literally go to a Hornets game cheaper than here and encounter friendlier staff.

I forgot to snap pics, but this is just your standard theater, no comfy reclining chairs or…read moreassigned seating. With that being said, it still does the job and has affordable prices. I paid $9 for my ticket on a Saturday evening and $9 for popcorn and a fountain drink - fair. Right after the previews the screen paused and we had to call the attendant to start it again, but it was smooth sailing after that. I had the same experience the last time I went to a theater in Pineville, not quite sure why this keeps happening to me. Lol

That is fine to us as everything else is worth it. Friendly and helpful staff. Refills on popcorn and drinks. They have all of the white cheddar, caramel, etc popcorn flavors in individual packets so you can still enjoy them if you ask. Consessions include candy, nachos, pretzels, hotdogs, etc. Bathrooms are always clean. Two big on side and one small behind inside theatre entry. Screen and sound incredible!. Removable arms to seats if needed. I saved the most important detail for last - affordable ticket prices! (Reward program in points if you buy a card for trancations. You have to ask about that on the inside. Photo Booth also available if you need to save the moment for $5.)
