This was a fun night checking out this stadium for the first time with a group of friends. It's smaller than the Knights stadium Uptown but built similarly. The have food, drinks, an onsite restaurant and fireworks. Parking wasn't bad as far as distance, but they do charge you $10 to park. They had fun entertainment throughout the night. I loved that they had a bat dog. It was really cool to watch him work. It was a fun experience overall! read more

Here again as the Cannonballers go forth to beat the Charleston River Dogs. It was an 0-0 intense battle until the 7th inning, the River Dogs pulled forward. The Cannonballers lost but it was on your seat action until the last home run! read more

Atrium Health Ballpark is the home of the Kannapolis Cannonballers, a minor league baseball affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. Going to a game is a fun and affordable way to spend the evening. Our tickets directly behind home plate cost just $15 each. Furthermore, we happened to visit on a Tuesday, when hot dogs, sofas, popcorn and pretzels are just $2 each. The stadium itself is only a couple years old and very nice. When there's no game happening, it's open to the public as a city park and there are usually a lot of people walking around the concourse and kids playing on the playground. read more

Welcoming, economical, lively, and fun for people of all ages. The baseball games themselves are a blast, and even just a general admission ticket will get you a 'choose your own' seat with a beautiful view of the game. They do a great job of keeping the crowd engaged throughout the game with activities and ceremonies between innings. Another great perk of this ballpark is that the community keeps it open to the public, even when the team is not playing--so it's a great place to walk around and just take in the sights of the expanding downtown. What a ballpark! Don't let the low A class fool ya, these guys have it all. Great stadium with major league vibes. This stadium is brand nee just missing its rookie year due to Covid. Props to the local government keeping it open (along with sometimes bar and concession stand) whether there's a game or not. Yep, you can go walk this park on an off day. The team is a White Sox low A team feeding into Winston-Salem and on up to Chicago. There's some real talent here at most Cannonballers games. And there's not a bad seat in the house to watch the prospects. From the organist to the food and drink options nearby this is a major league vibe. You can walk all the way around the stadium, concessions range from sushi to footling hotdogs. read more

Atrium Halth Ballpark is a very new, nice looking minor leauge ball park in downtown Kannapolis. They have done a pretty nice job of bringing in some stores and restaurants downtown around the ball park making for a nice place to go walk around. It is also nice that the park is left open when there are not games going on for walkers or for anyone to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Additionally, sometimes the bar in the outfield is open at night so you can grab a drink and hangout. There is also a nice playground and splash pad for children. Unfortunately I don't have quite as many good things to say about the game day experience here. To begin, the food. The only game so far this year where I have braved the line for food, when I got close enough where I could listen to everyone in front of me, I heard that they do not actually have XXXXXX item tonight. Luckily by my turn I had figured out he handful of items they actually did have. $9 for a Caesar salad in a cup the size of a medium soda? A little steep, but at least they have something besides hot dogs and hamburgers, I guess. On weekdays they seem not to open most of the food options that are based from carts around the stadium which makes sense due to the smaller crowds, but those do tend to be the better food too. For a weekend game.... I hope you smuggled in some snacks and drinks, or ate before hand. Otherwise you probably won't be watching any baseball. The last weekend game we went to, a mom with us had her two children that wanted to eat. She stood in line for just over 1 hour and 30 minutes to get her children two chicken tender baskets. I would have loved to have a beer (of which they actually have a pretty good selection) while watching America's Pastime, but I dont need one that badly. We actually had plans to get a couple drinks and eat dinner there but we just waited until after and went somewhere for a very late dinner. So instead of spending an additional probably $30+ we spent $0. So as far as a bonus to the city, I think the ballpark is a great thing, but they need to work on the game experience a bit if they want to keep fans coming and spending money. read more

We hosted a birthday party at the ball park recently and it was nothing short of amazing! We had a blast! The guests loved it and stayed for the entire game. Such a great deal! My son got to announce "Play Ball" to start the game! read more

What a cool minor league ball park. It's is a very comfortable and affordable place to come watch a ball game. There isn't a bad seat in the place at all. The food is excellent and they have a bunch of beer choices. It was a pleasant surprise for sure. The clubs are also spacious and accommodating. The $22 for the buffets seems steep IMO and I opted to get a hot dog at one of the many vendors. I will definitely come back! read more

built on the site of the former Cannon Mills the new stadium will eventually host the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers (formerly the Intimidators (really)) of the Class A South Atlantic League when play resumes. kinda neat that most of the stadium is open to the public most of the day on most of the days so it's more like a park park than a ballpark and that in itself makes this place stand out for funness. add onsite food service plus a 20,000 square foot play zone with a splash pad in season and $50M outlay starts to look reasonable. if actual baseball ever happens again the fan experience will include an oddly intrusive outfield bar area, a grassy picnic knoll, four levels of café-style high-tops near the right field corner, sky boxes, ground boxes, a fancy club, some family-friendly carnival style games, a giant TV, and very little NASCAR. yeah, it's odd that I haven't been to a professional stick-and-ball game since before the turn of the century and here I am at my second ballpark in less than a month :-\ yea CoViDiocy! read more

Very nice ball park with local beer choices available. Multiple food options and Evers eat it a good one

This ballpark is beautiful and so much fun! On 7 acres, there's a full sized playground, a splash pad, a bar in the outfield and more! They opened peak pandemic so this is their first baseball season as the cannon ballers! I will say the prices are pretty reasonable with the exception of ice water. I requested ice water and theytried to charge me $4. I made sure they weren't talking about bottled water and he said no, for tap water. read more
