This dentist office is the best place to visit. But, Dr. Attar office is very well organized and very efficient with very high tech service. The staffs were very well organized and efficient as well. Appointment was on time, the reception was very impressive by the staff. They make feel very special from the start. The examining room is very relaxing place, not like other that put you on the edge at dentist office. State-of-the-art automated equipment enables to see the X-Ray image of your teeth. Dentist office is not my Prefer place to visit. But, we have to check our teeth regularly. I have bleeding in my gum, that was reason of my visit this. D. Attar was very efficient and excellent in explaining the symptoms, the diagnostics and the procedure. This is not the first time I visit Dr. Attar office, I do that twice a year for checkup and hygiene cleaning. However, the remedy was given to me by Dr. Attar help to stop the bleeding and enhance the health of my gum. Seriously, Dr. Attar is the best dentist I've ever had. So, if you're looking for some to give excellent treatment and reasonable price for a teeth cleaning or any kind of dental work, Then Dr. Attar clinic is the one to be treated. He treated my entire family for dental work. I've referred few friends over to him for basic cleaning, checkup and one for much more extensive dental work. Dr Attar and his staff are EXTREMELY professional and patient friendly. Dr Attar was very attentive and concerned about my overall comfort and dental health during my visit. Dr Attar and his staff made me feel very at ease during my visit. I was very impressed with their concern and safety measures in keeping their patients safe to prevent COVID19 exposure. Dr Attar and his staff made me feel very welcome, at ease and I felt as if I was an old friend. I went in for molar pain and was told by my previous dentist that a crown in their opinion was necessary. Upon a through examination by Dr Attar, he felt that a crown was too extreme for my condition and in his professional opinion thought a filling would be more than sufficient. I told him I have always had extreme sensitivity in my mouth. Dr Attar took great care with a gentle touch, was not rushed and continued asking about my comfort level during the procedure. I don't know too many people who enjoy going to the dentist and I was one of them. I have to say this was one of the most pleasant visits I have ever experienced going to the dentist. I cannot in my wildest dreams think about going anywhere else for my dental needs. read more

Had two appointments. First time, after x-rays and a cursory examination was told I needed a root canal among other things. Left with an estimate for $5K worth of dental work. Made second appointment for a consultation with the endodontist who 'travels' to the practice to do root canals. When I got there discovered she was all set up to do a root canal and not to have a consultation.. She told me there was nothing to discuss, I had been given the diagnosis and I needed a root canal. I left. Sought a 2nd opinion from my longtime dentist in Northbrook.(Sought the local dentist because I didn't want to make the 30 minute drive to Northbrook--shame on me.) Had a thorough examination and was told not only did I NOT need a root canal, but the tooth indicated for root canal was marked incorrectly on the pre-op chart, Had I had the root canal I would have endured an unnecessary dental surgical procedure on the wrong tooth. Three lessons here: (1) Pay attention to your gut and don't be afraid to advocate for yourself.. (2) Drive the 30 minutes to a dental practice you know and have trusted for years. (3) Write a review so someone else doesn't have the same bad experience. read more

I was referred to Dr. Attar by my cousin and started going to his office about a year ago. Since I was a new patient I had a certificate for an exam, oral cancer screening and x-rays for $85. I hadn't been to the dentist in about two years because I had no insurance. I felt like this was a very reasonable offer and many of the other dentists I checked into were very expensive. After my exam, screening, and x-rays Dr. Attar informed me that my teeth were great, but I had a chipped filling. He recommended I come back in a few weeks to get it fixed, so I did. I have never been afraid of the dentist because it has always been my dream to become a dental hygienist, but the thought of shots in my mouth is not flattering. Dr. Attar gave me the choice to have the shot or to use the laser. He told me with the laser I wouldn't feel a thing. He didn't let me down! The procedure was very quick and painless. I look forward to going back to his office to get my teeth sparkled in a few weeks! Highly recommended. read more

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Attar!! I've been to many dentists in my lifetime, and he's the best I've been to. If you are scared of dentists, he and his staff are caring and take their time to make sure you're comfortable. They don't act rushed and explain what they're doing next. They have comfort options, such as laughing gas, mild sedation, and sedation. The dental hygienists/dental staff are understanding and caring. The office staff is very helpful and nice and go above and beyond to give you all the info you need about your insurance benefits and financial options. The office is new and clean. Dr. Attar is really reliable and a great dentist. He removed my wisdom teeth for me - I was awake and it was painless! He really went through the trouble to makes sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure, and actually followed up with me the next few days via text to make sure I was feeling alright. I had some concerns about my pain but he walked me through the steps and told me what to expect. I honestly feel really comfortable under Dr. Attar's care and enjoy the atmosphere at his practice with his friendly staff - highly recommended to anybody in the Libertyville area. read more

I have been a patient of Dr Attar for a few years now, and have been very satisfied with the service. Every staff member is helpful and knowledgabke, and the cleaning process is quick and personal, as the staff all remembers who am I and makes good conversation to keep a positive atmosphere. Appointment times are much shorter than my old dentist, but with the same if not better results. I would highly recommend Dr Attar to friends and family. Dr. Attar is fantastic! My young children, spouse and I have been with his practice for several years. He has the most updated technology and a wonderful, caring staff. As someone who feared dental pain for years, Dr. Attar has put me at ease by telling me about all the procedures before he completes the process. I love this office, my kids and I have been coming to Dr. Attar since 2007 and recently we moved over an hour away and I still drive all the way here for our appointments, I highly recommend him. His staff are phenomenal, very kind and courteous. Very accommodating. He is a wonderful dentist, very calming and gentle, excellent with kids , kind and makes you feel very comfortable. Our family had had terrible experiences with this office. My daughter had to wait an hour in the waiting room and no one ever even took the time to say hello. My husband had a horrible experience with them not being prepared for the procedure he had to have. Beware. They are very concerned with getting money up front, though. Dr. Attar is awesome! He is very gentle with sensitive patients such as me, and is very patient. One time he waited for a couple of hours for my mouth to get numb for an extraction and never complained. He is the only dentist who has actually called after a surgery to check up on how I was feeling, and gave me his cell number in case I had any issues over the weekend. Dr. Attar is an amazing dentist! He treated my gums (pockets) with antibiotics, which helped them heal enough to ward off surgery, at least for awhile. Another dentist and surgeon never even told me it was an option. Now I see Dr. Attar every 4 months and we are maintaining everything well.
