They were asked to replace other boards, but advised they were solid, and did not replace them. Shingles were lifted or removed and tar was put down to seal the roof, but they did NOT replace the shingles correctly! Roof was still leaking, they were called back a second time, did not charge for the visit, but did not fix the problem by applying more tar. Now tar has run down the sides of the dormer, mold is growing on the roof boards and the roof is still leaking. I would not advise calling this company, as workers are not skilled.

Najera's crew did a great job painting my walls inside of my home. I had two bathrooms including…read morethe ceilings, and a laundry room painted. My only issues were the ceilings that were painted were not primed correctly or their was a discrepancy in choosing the correct primer and paint combo? I'm not sure but I recently had a bathroom remodel which included removing a wall from the bathroom which divides my shower and tub. The removal caused an unusual discoloration on the ceiling due to it being mudded/sanded/etc. Najera assured me that he could fix this with painting. The issue was not resolved with painting the ceiling so I feel that the additional costs for painting the ceiling should have been reimbursed or he should have repainted the uneven area. Similar issue with the guest bath, there's a bright white line outlining the perimeter of the wall and it shows up over the paint. So I will have to repaint both ceilings again. I expressed my concern prior to his crew leaving and nothing was done about it. I almost feel as if they were tired and did not want to "fix" the mistakes made that day. I also had them place some baseboards and one was cut too short against the wall. Instead of measuring and replacing a new one they left the uneven one against the wall and caulked the gap between the baseboard and tub. I provided my own paint and my bill was close to $1000 for two bathrooms and a laundry room that was the smallest of them all. I contacted him via text the next day and showed photos and told him I was disappointed in the ceilings. He said he could fix it. I said, "yes that it was I'd like free of charge". He never contacted me back. I expected me to pay him AGAIN for correcting his mistake. So I had to leave a review. I don't like half ass work. I would have respected if they would have returned the next day or on a later date to correct the mistakes for the price that I paid.

I hired this firm to do a simple fencing job that has been done three times by others in the past…read more The owner did not listen to most of my instructions, installed incorrectly sized gates, did not use the material he was supposed to use to install a corner fence, and shorted me on the footage of split rail fence he installed. After he told me to stop sending him delusional e-mails when I told him the incorrectly sized gate wouldn't allow a commercial mower in, I contacted Yelp feedback. Soon after he said he would return and make repairs per contract. What he did was install agate from pressure treated pine rather than the cedar I paid for and used materials from another job on the frame he created because he didn't have a long enough support piece. The warranty gate was so poorly installed I can't even get it to open and close. He refused to replace a post that is badly split all the way down because "that's what posts are supposed to do." Many of the rails used have unsightly bark on them. He said he would take another look at it the replacement gate after being told I was filing a BBB complaint, but I responded that I would need him to honor his written warranty on the items that need to be corrected or not to bother wasting his time or mine. He did not respond to the BBB complaint that included photos and I was notified by Better Business Bureau that although his company is not a member, they have given him a D- rating based on the information and photos I supplied. To add insult to injury the owner told me he would have to trim a few branches out of his way before he began installation. His crew piled them up behind the fence line and it took me 4 hours to haul them to the curb. When returning supposedly to make warranty repairs, he began shouting at me. I have reported his conduct to Yelp, but based on my experience with this company I would not do business with them again.

The roof repair/installation crew was prompt, attentive, efficient and worked great together as a team. Even their cleanup was amazing - 29 squares of shingles removed and installed and I only found 1 roofing nail after they left (down in an expansion joint in the driveway)! The interior repair/painting crew made all of the ceilings look absolutely new again - even the 2 with "popcorn" texture. Would I use LA Roofing again? Absolutely! Have already recommended them to several friends.
