Had a horrible experience just trying to get an estimate. The tech never showed and never reached out. I finally learned after messaging and calling the company twice that the tech was running about 2 hours late. Then the original tech apparently passed off the estimate to another tech who was even farther away. That tech then said they won't be able to come out at all till the next day, which wouldn't work for me or my tenant. Never once did the company apologize for the inconvenience or anything. I called a few companies to get a quote for attic insulation. Attic Master was very responsive. Avi came and examined my attic thoroughly. He took pictures and showed me the attic condition. He answered all my questions and quickly we booked a day for installation. On installation day, the crew arrived on time. Juan and his team came and quickly got to work. I was nervous about the work and the cleanliness. They built a plastic wall and covered my dining table and my hardwood floor to minimize the dust. After they finished the work, they cleaned up my place thoroughly. During the process, one of the vents came off. Juan took time to screw it back and also patched the vent nicely. Juan and the team did an excellent job. Now that I have my insulation installed, I could clearly tell the room temperature is mild. Wow, what can we say about this business that hasn't already been said. From our experience, Attic Masters are professionals of the highest order. They were kind, clean and fast without sacrificing any quality in their job. They were also very patient to explain the whole process of the project to my mom and my sister, and I. Celine was very helpful over the phone and patient mediating the whole process from beginning to end. Juan and his brother Otni were very mindful of every small detail and eager to help with their expertise in the industry throughout this whole journey. We commissioned them to; take away our old insulation, disinfect and clean out the contaminated baffles, rodent proof our infested attic, seal up a crack that had formed at the base of our chimney which was a source of a water leak, take away our old air ducts, replace it with new air ducts, install new fiberglass insulation, and install a radiant barrier that would reflect ultraviolet rays passing through our roof. Our attic felt at least twenty degrees cooler than it would have been before the radiant barrier installation. Juan also identified and removed old asbestos that we didn't know we had lining our house. All of this work was done in the span of about 5 days. Every scheduled date was on time and efficiently planned out. Juan was able to work with us to give us the service we needed at an amazing pace. Two days of removal and two days of installation with some time spread out in between to work on an area spanning about 3800 sqft. Before they started their work Juan and his brother would cover our furniture with plastic and roll out a plastic pathway that they would walk on coming in and out of the house. When they were in the removal process each roll of old fiberglass was neatly packed and carried away in industrial bags in order to keep the dusty old fiberglass from contaminating our living area. The quality of their work looked like fine art after they were finished with our attic. All of the fiberglass battings were neatly cut out, and the radiant barrier was installed with zero ruffles along the overlapping edges. We're talking saran wrap tight fittings without any gaps or droopage in between where heat could seep through. Every sheet overlapping exactly parallel from the sheet before it. I wish we had a second attic just to use their services again. We definitely recommend their services to anyone who is in the market for a high quality upgrade/renovation to protect your home and your family's health. Juan at Attic Masters gave me a super competitive price for insulation work, and the price was very reasonable. Note: Beware of the various crooks out there who charge way too much! So,.. Attic Masters showed up at my Anaheim home in October 2023 ready to go at 9am. Workers were extremely polite and professional. They laid down plastic on the flooring so that debris would be contained. They cleaned out all the old insulation, vacuumed, and sealed all gaps and rodent proofed before laying down R-38 Owens Corning Pink Panther fiberglass batting. They took a multiple pictures during the different stages, and they were done by 2pm. My wife and I were so extremely satisfied with the work, that we had them work on a rental property we own in Pasadena. Again, the price was hard to resist! Unfortunately it was getting into late November and the roof needed to be replaced first. So Juan waited until December before we scheduled a date. Unfortunately they couldn't get Pink Panther from the suppliers, so they offered R-38 Johns Manville (Berkshire Hathaway) fiberglass batting as a substitute. It turned out to be a better deal I felt. Again the service was excellent, and the work was finished the same day. I highly recommend this company. We had been thinking of adding new insulation to our relatives' 50s-era attic, in view of some very high bills during the last few years from the department of water and power within the city of LA. We called several companies and met with Beni from Attic Masters early in the week. He arrived promptly and evaluated the attic space/condition, and he offered us a discount related to a same-week installation. We decided to do the project, and both cleaning and installation were completed just today. The crew was friendly and worked steadily through the day, completing the project around 6 p.m. Juan was especially personable and kept us informed of progress throughout the day. He and his crew protected major hallways with large tarps as part of the preparation process. This was a pretty hassle free experience. I don't know much about insulation, but everything was finished within a week (from call to completion), and my house seems tons cooler in the afternoons. I'm no longer sweating up a storm during my afternoon nap, and that's a miracle in and of itself. Frank and his crew arrived on time. The job met our expectations -- clean out the old insulation. Our review will focus on the "aesthetic" of the job. The crew took their time setting up the equipment taking care not to disturb our living space and to be as clean as possible. That attention was much appreciated. Our two areas of concern are the level of noise and the amount of time it took to complete the job. The machine was VERY loud, a jet engine comes to mind, and was a likely disturbance to our neighbors. And then there is the amount of time it took to complete the job -- our attic space is less than 1000 square feet. I'm not a contractor, but at the very least a "heads up" with regard to length of time would have been appreciated. The job took the entire day (Saturday) beginning around 9:30 and the crew leaving after (a thorough) clean-up around 6 p.m. And finally, while it is understandable that a business always wants to increase their customer base, the "upselling" by Frank was more than a little annoying, although again expected since we were first time customers. I randomly found them online last month and they gave a free inspetion for an attic cleaning becasue we were starting to have rodent I think rat issues in there from a hole we had. They cleaned out my attic in a day and rat proofed and sanitized it then I got the new insulation. My living room and insides were protected by a plastic covering and left my place like no one had been there. They were super effictive and professional. I purchased a house that was built in the 20's and had no clue what I was getting myself into. The ceilings needed to be replaced but before I could do that I needed the attic cleaned and insulated.
