Cliff is one of the worst lawyers in the county. He talks a big game in his office, but lets all…read morethe other lawyers run him over constantly. He doesn't actually listen to his clients or do anything they ask. On top of that, he is drastically too expensive for what he actually does do. Used him for a divorce and custody hearing. He let the other lawyers take everything from me as far as the marital assets, and let me get screwed over on child support. When we went back to court, the other lawyer beat him down like a scolded puppy. He's useless. At the end of the hearing, it took him a year to get the order to the judge. I asked him to let me review it before it went to the judge, but he didn't. So I finally have a signed order, but it's wrong and cuts me out of a year's worth of child support from my ex. When I tried to talk to him about it, I was told that he doesn't handle that kind of case anymore. Thank goodness, because I wouldn't want him screwing up any one else's life as bad. I would never recommend him in any form to anyone. Avoid using him at all cost. He's a terrible lawyer, spends all his time hunting instead of working on your case, and doesn't care if he wins or not.

I would not recommend Cliff Collins for any child custody cases; he repeatedly would go months…read morewithout returning phone calls or emails. He would file motions but failed to submit any of the supporting documentation I gave him. When asked why he didn't submit any evidence to the court his answer was " I did, it was testimony." He just honestly did not do his job, however he is a really good bullshitter. I could've done better representing myself, certainly couldn't have done worse.
