I called them for a dishwasher that was not draining. They came; did the service call and left. There was no explanation of the problem. I called and asked what I needed to do to get my dishwasher fixed. They told me what part to order. They couldn't order it but if I bought it they would come and fix it but they didn't want to order the part and schedule a day to install. I just wasted money. I would give zero stars if that were an option. I have paid Atwoods $165 so far and my washer still does exactly what it did when I called them out. The "technician" that came out diagnosed the problem as the "lid lock mechanism" gone bad, even though he couldn't wait long enough for the washer to cycle through to hear the noise it was making mid-cycle. It was $65 for him to come out and tell me that. Of course he didn't carry ANY parts with him, so it had to be ordered. While waiting for the part to arrive I spoke to the owner, Violet (after many attempts to talk to someone). When I asked her what happens if the part they ordered didn't fix the problem, she told me, "well we'll just have to try something else. It's just like when you take your car to the mechanic and they don't know what's wrong with it, they just keep putting on parts until they figure it out"!!! What the heck??!!! And of course they expect you to keep paying for each part (and the labor to put it on). CRAZY!! Finally the part arrived and an appt. was scheduled for the "technician" to come out and install the part, which would be another $100, $48 for the part and $52 for 20 minutes of labor. Needless to say, the "lid lock mechanism" was not the problem. My washer still makes the same noise. I called the store and asked to speak to Violet, but instead got her "assistant" who assured me she would have Violet call me right back. HA!! I've heard that so many times, and she never calls back! This morning I actually got through to Violet, who looked up my account, including all the records of what has transpired. She read to me all the notes from the technician, and on and on. When I told her I don't want them to come back, but would like to know what she intends to do now, since I've paid them $165 and nothing has changed with my washer, she said (as she always does) "I'll have to look into this and I'll call you back". Again, HA HA!!! SHE NEVER CALLS BACK!! So to summarize, I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. They do not know the meaning of customer service, and their owner, Violet, is nothing but a delusional liar! Save yourself a lot of time and headache and call someplace else if you need an appliance repaired. read more

The fridge is artic-cold, just how I like it and more than ample space to cover my needs. The price? Ridiculously low and I felt like I robbed the place. Well after a horrible experience at Kingman appliance (you can read my review here on Yelp) several people recommended I go to Attwoods appliance, I sure wish I had gone there in the first place I would have saved money and a lot of anguish, the place is clean, they have a lot of appliances (new and used) to chose from and fair prices. I bought a used washer that was delivered on time for free, the warranty is 3 months, It looks and works like new. Kingman is a small town so there isn't a lot of choices for something like this, it's nice to know there is at least 1 reputable business here. 5 stars (and these people deserve it) for Attwoods !! read more

Terrible repair service. Completely unreliable, disorganized, rude, and never prepared. Multiple visits for a simple repair but they never have the right working part with them. Now they are not even returning phone calls. They've taken money for diagnostics and the part but it's been almost a month and the dryer is still not working. Wish I could give zero stars. I called Back in November and spoke to Ron about a couple houses I had going and wanted to see what kinda deal he could give me for a large order of appliances. Well Ron put me in contact with one of his sales people and told me she would take care of me and they would give me builders pricing. What a joke attwoods has been. She lied about all the prices and then quit left me hanging. I called and called and left messages both for her and Ron and no one ever called back. I went in again begging of January and was told she quit and was lying so they couldn't honor the prices. Also that the sales were now over and they wouldn't honor them either. After waiting months for them to get my order together so we could place the order attwoods completely dropped the ball. If you want your time wasted come here and deal with attwoods. Otherwise stay far away. I can't believe the service I received from here both from sales staff and Ron. Customer service has gone out the window these days. Ron and attwoods has lost my business for life over these issues. Go to havasu there are much better stores out there and now I have a contact with a store and get all my appliances for a great price and great service. Go where your business is valued. This is probably the worst appliance service store I have ever had business with. After travelling 5 separate times and 2500 miles to have my refrigerator fixed under warranty this fly by night unorganized incompetent disrespectful and rude so called place of business once again didn't disappoint me by leaving with a few choice words and refusing to stay and make sure the refrigerator went thru a full cycle. In addition to calling me a lier and telling me I need to call and tell them what really happened. Well here it is. This is the third time I have used Atwood Appliance (for Service Repair) and for two of them (for major repairs) which was for the same problem loose bearings, I have had to do so many follow ups and calls to Home Depot and Whirlpool and finally Assurian to check on the the status of the Sales Order submitted. On this last claim submitted last Feb, they came out 2/16/2020 submitted the sales order 2/24/2020. Since I never received a call from anyone, I called Atwood spoke to Nathan, he said they have not responded. So I called WP and initially got the runaround. So I finally spoke to Carol in the Warranty Dept and she said that someone from Atwood has to call them. While I was on the line she called and spoke to Nathon and he said he to he we have spoken. She was supposed to tell him that he needs to be the one to call to check on the status. As of today 4/7/2020, no response. I call Atwood, Nathan answers the phone, i ask what is going on, he puts me on hold, comes back on the phone and says, the order to repair was declined because the cost to repair was to expensive. I asked him what day did he become aware of this? He basically said he didn't know. So I call Home Depot to find out what is going on! I finally get through to Jara with Assurian (extended warranty Dept.) advised her of my conversation with Nathan w/Atwood, she said this is NOT TRUE! The parts have been ordered and I should be getting a call from the them to schedule a service call/repair on my Washer. I told her that I do not want Atwood to come down send someone else. She asked if I would like to file a complaint? Absolutely.... BTW, I purchased this front loading brand new Whirlpool Washer, from Home Depot in May 2017 and have had problems with it ever since we had it installed. We just moved to Kingman and needed a washer and dryer quick! We walked into the show room and asked for their used/refurbished washers and dryers and was friendly pointed to the right direction. They had a great selection and the employees knew all the answers to our questions. All refurbished appliances came with a 3 month guarantee After we bought what we came for they said they would deliver for free because we didn't live very far. YAY! How nice! They delivered within the hour! The next day the washer stopped half way through a big load. Within 30 minutes their repairman was looking into the problem and gave us his best idea of what happened. Not just a "its broken" but a list of what he thought it might be. He said he would replace the motor and have it fixed by the next day. The next day he called and said the motor was different so he would bring us another washer, same model but different color. YES! I have never worked with such a helpful and friendly appliance company! We'll be back for all our appliances! read more

They worked on my Kitchenaid refrigerator from March 16, 2021 and finally returned it October 13, 2021 saying it was fixed. It was not. The freezer did not freeze. During this 7 month period, we were TOLD they replaced the inverter, then the compressor, then the main board. We were also working with Landmark Home Warranty who gave this job to Attwood. Attwood was terrible to deal with. Dusty, Nathan & Clinton were rude when I called for updates and told me they didn't have to deal with MY attitude. They even hung up on me several times. When the refrigerator was finally returned and still was not working, the warranty company approved another company come in for a second opinion. Their assessment was the fridge was not repairable. The main board had NOT been replaced, the coolant system was leaking and had contaminated the refrigerator. There was only one person at Attwood that was respectful and seemed to know what was going on. His name was Ron but we were never able to talk to him. read more

This business apparently doesn't have a clue about Customer Service.We tried for 2 1/2 weeks to get service and a return phone call. Very sad because I work in the medical field and word of mouth is not a good thing. I would NEVER refer anybody to do any type of business here. My dryer needed a belt and pulley, after being highly recommended we went to Atwoods Appliances. We gave them the correct model no and purchased the pulley and belt for $52.00. It did not work, the belt was too long and the pulley center was too wide. All the belt did was continually come off. They refused to resolve it, because they do no accept returns or exchanges. read more

Yes... my refrigerator is back up and running... was only down for two weeks. Attwood wouldn't order the parts until we paid and then the they were back ordered and then they couldn't make it on Friday to fix it and of course they don't work on the weekends. I called at two minutes to 4 and surprise she was just going to cal me and tell me they couldn't make it. I realize sometimes it is just out of their control and I understand about prepaying but my problem is with having to call to find the status. read more

I have used Attwoods Appliances on two separate occasions, about two years apart, for repairs on our refrigerator/freezer. The first time was in 2014, our freezer was not working properly and things were starting to thaw. Our first thought was, the refrigerator is 10 years old, we are going to have to replace it! So we rushed online to look for prices for a replacement, soon to realize our options were somewhat limited because of the size of the opening in the cabinets for the refrigerator. We ran to Lowe's and Home Depot but didn't find much help. Then we stopped in here. They actually had 3 different refrigerators in store (as well as others they could have ordered) that would fit! But what I found really wonderful was, because the sales lady understood that money was tight, she suggested we have their repairman come out and take a look first! Wow! Well, he came out the very next day and was able to fix the problem. The man they sent was knowledgeable, polite, answered all of my questions, and cleaned up after himself when he was finished. I still think it is awesome that they didn't just sell me a refrigerator, when I only needed a repair. That is why when the water/ice dispenser stopped working two years later we called them again. Once again, it was quick and easy to get the service scheduled. The repairman showed up on time, was polite, knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and cleaned up after he was finished. That is why I would use them again, and will go there first when it is time to replace my refrigerator (when it finally gives up). I would definitely recommend this company. read more

When searching to purchase a new top loader HE washer we were taken into the warehouse where the elderly lady showed us a very nice washer and advised the $600 for it was most likely more than we would want to spend.
