We used ATV for a couple of office renovations and new office suite build where they installed AV equipment as well as did the full data/phone wiring and data center install. They take the stress out of the move process. Bryan is always helpful and understands our needs. I reached out super last minute on a 2 day meeting that needed better AV than the hotel had. They were quick and were able to get me set up. Byran is amazing, he does what we need and also makes sure there is a backup option ready to go. You can tell he loves what he does. I've rented from ATV for about a dozen occasions now and can safely say they deserve the full 5 stars. Why? A combo of reasons. The service is always spot on and there is never an employee who doesn't know what they are talking about. They also are more than willing to help carry equipment out to your car for you. Second - they remember you. It only took a couple visits before they knew my regular order and made sure to have it waiting. I understand they have some specific requirements (one reviewer complains that they they wouldn't help him because he didn't have a credit card) but with so much expensive equipment in one place and they being the only ones to offer such rentals, it's understandable that they will take great lengths to protect their merchandise. I've never been here where they haven't gone out of their way to help me or explored all options to make my rental a reality. read more

I have used ATV for years and had reasonably good service. I went in today and because I did not have a credit card, only a debit card, they would no longer rent to me. I am a small business with business liability insurance, but there was no mention of using my insurance as surety, only a credit card, which made me feel as fi they thought I was going to steal the equipment. It is against my beliefs to have a credit card therefore I will no longer be using ATV. They were inflexible, and did not seem to have any concern for a long time customer. read more

I think one thing I should say is test EVERY thing you rent prior to leaving the shop. Take pictures and make a note of any damage. They will tell you they do that, but protect yourself and them really and ask to do it together. Otherwise it's just your word against some wharehouse guy and there will be no way to protect yourself other than the pictures you take. Prices are reasonable but cover yourself and take the time to ask to have everything tested in front of you and take pictures of any and all damage. This is for everyone's protection and not to be a jerk. The warehouse won't hesitate to say you damaged something so protect everyone involved and take a moment to see it for yourself. Also they have an emergency number on the paperwork, if you have a problem after hours and you call the main number it will not direct you to the emergency number to call. So you may want to make a note that the number is there. That being said, they have a good selection and fair prices and the lady at the front desk and the owner/manager are both quite nice. read more

I used ATV for their services for a slideshow at my grandfather's funeral in June. They were nothing short of amazing. So helpful in a time of need. On incredibly short notice (like, the night before) they helped me to get everything together for the next day. They were knowledgeable, helpful, professional, and friendly. They were on time, set up and tested the equipment, and made sure I could contact them with any questions. I know nothing about audio video stuff so I'll make this brief. We rented a projector for a wedding. They were polite, speedy, helpful, explanative, and seemed to really know what they were talking about. I returned the projector after said wedding, and forgot the power chord. They were super cool and gave me plenty of time to get it to them...without charging me a late fee. I felt like their prices for rental were a little high, but then again, what do I know. If I'm ever making a snuff film or fulfilling my dream of becoming a crime scene photographer, I'll be going back to this place for rentals and advice. read more

ATV is fantastic! I rented a projector, a screen, microphones, and speakers for a film screening and I couldn't have been happier! Great prices, quality equipment, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and best of all I left knowing exactly what I needed for my event in a matter of minutes. Their warehouse of good quality rental stuff means I don't have to buy the equipment myself. My organization has worked with ATV for several years now, from equipment purchases to camera calibration. Recently, I worked with them on an independent production. It was my first experience with their production team, which included Grant, David, Jason, and Payton. I must say, the experience was wonderful. They listened to the vision of myself and the director and went above and beyond to execute accordingly. Furthermore, their technical expertise has been invaluable. I appreciate that they were not just focused on the job at hand, but the entire project / outcomes. The most important aspect of working with them is the incredible attitude and team work they brought to the project. Even though it was two long, hot days, they had upbeat, positive personalities. Started calling ATV in January to get a quote on greenroom equipment for purchase. Took nearly a month just to schedule someone to come out and talk with our company. A quote was promised within days....never came. After several unanswered emails, called again to shake their tree. This time was promised a quote by the end of the day. That was 10 days ago. Called manager...he said he would look into it...never got a call back. Business must be good when you treat prospective customers like that....moving on. read more

Chris at ATV in Sacramento took very good care of me, he even gave me a special training session a couple days in advance. My school hired this company to do our Every 15 Minute Program in April. Not only did they do a phenomenal job of video taping the two-day event, they also edited it, added more video content taking by a bystander, and added candid shots taken by a student to the final dvd. They were more than willing to work with us on any and everything we suggested! I was incredibly impressed with their professionalism and their work ethic. I highly recommend them for any E15M program and anything else for that matter! read more

I work for a nonprofit organization and we do a lot of a/v work so our team is made up of very tech savvy individuals. We made the mistake of renting equipment from these guys and were unable to get anything useful done for a full session where we had hired technicians and other staff present because the stuff we rented from ATV did not function. Not only did we lose money because of lost time and payments made to those present at the session, but then they refused to refund us a dime for the faulty and outdated equipment they provided. Lesson learned...go somewhere else. read more
