Popped in for a synthetic oil change today. In and out quick and easy for $85. When I went to pay the guy who did the oil change I asked which oil they used and he keeps saying synthetic. Finally he says which one and the weight isn't the on my car uses. I tell him this and he says oh well they are all the same. WTF? That was the end of the conversation. Suddenly his English got even worse and he started mumbling have a nice day and walked away. I had to go up the street and pay another 85 bucks to have the wrong oil and the refill done correctly with a new filter. Great car wash but I wonder how many people are getting oil changes and don't know that everyone is getting the same oil. Little cars, big trucks, suvs, 4 cylinders, 6, 8 who cares? just put the same thing in all of them. OMG. read more

I've been going to Atwood Car Wash for a while now. I go mainly for my oil changes but the car wash with the hand dry is an added bonus! The owner is very kind and many times offers additional discounts. Since my car is a new Honda I tried using the dealership for my last oil change. This place is great! It's a drive through which is super convenient! I've been looking for one in this area for a while. Only $10 for an express SUV wash. Sometimes there is a bit of a line but there was only one car in front of us today. The staff is friendly and they even do a good pre-wash before your car enters the regular wash. They also will towel dry your car for you. Definitely will be back here! read more

Keep in mind with this review that I've only owned a car for two years, so I have less experience with car washes than others. However, in my experience, it's been difficult to find full service car washes these days. I love that here they actually dry off your car and pre-rinse your tires. Very reasonable prices too. I really gave this place a chance. The first time I visited it was great! The car wash was quick but thorough, and the attendant was super friendly. The prices are not outrageous. I was excited about finding a decent car wash in town. The second and third time I returned the open sign was clearly lot, I drove around to the back where the entry is and I waited. And waited. Annnnnnnnnd waited. Both times someone was in the office and watched me drive by. Both times after waiting longer than I probably should have I drove back around, parked and walked into the office and was told the car wash was being repaired. TWICE. I watched other people drive around back and wait as well. Now, you're probably asking why I went back after it happened a first time. I REALLY wanted to like this place. They were so friendly and my car sparkled! I'm not sure why they are paying anyone to staff a non-operational car wash, but hey - that's their bottom line, not mine. All I'm saying is - when the car wash is out of service, how about putting up a sign instead of watching everyone drive around back and wait until they leave with their little deflated hearts. read more

I stopped in here at 6 or so a few days ago. I really wasn't sure if it was the right place as it isn't very well lit and it was already dark out. I pulled up to the bays where they change oil and saw a fellow there, I asked if they could give my car an in and out wash and he said yes, so I pulled around to washing area. For 15 dollars the two guys working took great care of my car. I have had my car washed in and out on many occasions at different places throughout the years and these guys were the best I've ever had. No dust was left behind and everything was squeaky clean! It took them awhile to do the inside and I waited in the office playing with my phone, but it was well worth it. I will never go back again!!!!!! So I brought my car to the Atwood car wash the other day. I've been there many times before. Never had a problem. This day my car gets stuck at the end of the car wash. The conveyer stops pushing my car. The guy who's drys the car off is waiving me out so after waiting a min or two I put my car in drive and pull out. I feel something catch as I'm pulling out. I assume it's my tire hitting the conveyer. They dry my car I leave. A few hours later I get back in my car and realize the bottom trim is pulled off the car. I go back explain the situation to the owner and he basically tells me to screw. It didn't happen there. This is the same guy who put my car through the wash. Just want everyone to know what kind of person your giving your $ to! read more

Needed to find a car wash close by, seeing I didn't feel like washing it at home. The service is is great and my car looked like it just came out of the showroom. They take the time to prewash the car before it goes in. I like that because it helps to really give it a good wash. After you come out, they wipe it down for you. I stopped by Atwood Quick Lube and Car Wash after work as my car was overdue for an oil change. I am so glad I did!!! The price was amazing ($39 for an oil change AND a car wash) and the service was phenomenal. I was there maybe 20 minutes--my oil change was done AND my car was vacuumed and windows cleaned--it looked brand new. Also, no one tried to con me into buying unnecessary parts, like an air filter, etc. Car wash was basic but effective...and towel-dried by an employee. I really don't know why I haven't been going there the whole time--beats both the price and quality of service at the local Chevy dealership! VERY HAPPY AND SATISFIED CUSTOMER!!! read more

Stay away ! My truck blew a tire in the car wash after coming off the track. Owner refused to pay for the damage and said it never happened before. They clearly don't like money . They denied me service because they didn't feel like dealing with cleaning my car . My son got sick in my car I cleaned all all the major chunks so all it was the streak and stands on the door and the rugs need vacuum and cleaning and the seat and they said no ?? Washed my car until there was no smell. On a busy spring Sunday!! Only charged me $35 for that brutal job plus an exterior car wash. Was impressed with the service as well as Paulie's friendliness. My passenger side Mirror was taken off denting my car while going through the automatic car wash at the Atwood car wash. I have made many attempts to connect with the owner to resolve this issue and still have not heard back from him nor any other employee at the car wash. After receiving a quote just for the Toyota mirror and installation it was $350.00 not including the dent in the door. However, having said this, I submitted to an employee at the Atwood car wash, to give to the owner a bill for an after market mirror costing $119.00 that my husband would install. I feel like I was being very nice and saving the owner a lot of money for an incident that happened in their automatic car wash and still have not heard back from anyone. As a matter of fact the owner has not even called me to challenge my claim. The owner is just ignoring what happened.
