Here's why: first, the store is immaculate. Super clean and very well-organized. I've seen hospitals dirtier than this place! Perfect lighting, labels, just a very clean store. The three employees I talked to, even though they were delivering bad news, seemed generally interested and understanding about my frustration. They even offered some helpful advice, assuming I could find what I needed. I mean, they didn't get my business, but with the way they treated me I wouldn't be opposed to going there in the future. That's great customer service. One thing though: the parking is a bit irritating with the placement between 2 very narrow drive-thru areas. It's rather narrow, and of course I had 2 stupid big trucks park on either side of me. Of course.

They had ALL THE HERBS- I live in a huge city and wish our Walmart was like this. If I ever see basil, mint, or chives at my store it's like I've hit the lottery. We got great steaks, plenty of food for the week, dairy products, and nice fresh produce. Went back the next day for water balloons and water guns... so we kind of saw a little bit of everywhere.

The registers, namely the self-checkout is set up a little odd compared to other stores, but I'm happy it exists at this store. All in all, it's pretty much on par with the rest of the walmarts in the area: smaller selections in some things, virtually no cashiers, you know what I'm saying.

The food area is great for small portions or single people like myself. The prices are also good, which is one of the many appeals to shopping at a dollar store. With the limited shopping in Clinton, it's nice to have a good-sized Family Dollar in the area. My only complaint is the register area. It's super congested with product, so your bags have very little room. As long as you have a small or medium shopping amount, it's good. All in all, the store is worth driving 15 minutes from my house to, as it definitely beats my local Dollar General and absolutely beats a trip to Walmart for 3 things.

This is a great place to get fuel if you use a credit or debit card. It's off the main street and…read morerarely has anyone purchasing fuel. The gas stations in town often have issues with their pumps, so this is a great alternative. They offer regular with ethanol and regular with no ethanol. The prices are rather high for both, but generally they are cheaper than the convenience stores in this town. The pumps are located on gravel, so go slow pulling up. The card reader sometimes takes a very long time to authorize. I usually stick my card in first, then get my car ready for fuel. That's a weird thing to say, but sometimes it can take a minute to authorize. You always get a receipt and there isn't a way to opt out of the paper copy. Being a co-op, I thought I wasn't allowed to use it. So glad I was corrected because it beats the other two convenience stores on fuel!
