My AC went out on Friday morning, and for Texas that isn't good, We spent the night in 95 degree heat in the house with several fans everywhere to make it through to Saturday. We wound up having to order a room portable AC unit at 5 AM. I went in at 7 AM when they opened and they wwere so kind to pull it off the shelf and help me load it in my car. They could have said that I had to wait for the email to pick it up, but they chose compassion. Thank you to Sophia at the desk and the young man that helped me to my car. Update! We came tonight again and same nice very you g crew with absolutely NO knowledge of anything. Couldn't get what we wanted and had to leave to tractor supply where we quickly found what we were looking for. Mix feelings...good things, good prices good friendly service all good until you need to ask questions about machinery or anything really. You need to go and know what you want because nobody in the entire store know anything. The loaders don't even know what part you need to load, they are not familiar with names or machinery or anything in the store really. Is like going to Walmart where nobody can help you. We had 3 guys there and no one had any idea what we need it or if it would work for us. We had to ask a random guy in the store that was a customer for help. Like the store, but they only have a 30 day return policy:( So keep that in mind if you shop there. I was 5 days past the date and the only information listed on the receipt is "RECEIPT REQUIRED FOR REFUND OR EXCHANGE". So they are not upfront about the 30 day window. read more

Well I love this store itself don't get me wrong. However; honestly debating on buying a mini jeep today. The young man we spoke with seemed very nice and was going to let us take it around the parking lot. Because you know, spending around two thousand dollars without driving it.. wanted to make sure we were making the right choice. Well, that young man asked someone else who seemed to be a manager and ASSUMED that it was for my two young sons when sure they would've rode in it but not drive it. He laughed and seemed like it was funny that was even a question assuming again that we would've had our children test drive it. Hm, nope. You can find everything here from small simple hunting items anything you need for your ranch feed for animals small livestock like chicks, Or small ducks as well as maintenance products for your equine needs. They have chainsaws and various ranch equipment that you might need. Additionally they carry small home repair items pipes and insulation items small pumps. They have various nice cool candies for the kids salted peanuts at the front popcorn they also carry some small household items and cleaning supplies so if you don't like shopping at Walmart which is across the street you can come here. read more

Visited the new Atwoods in Crowley. It was fun to walk around and see everything. Being new everything was clean and the employees were friendly. We were able to see the baby chicks and ducks which was the highlight for my kids. Looks like they had a variety of products to suite all your basic farming needs. read more

This is an interesting blend of things you need for your ranch...and your home. :) Seriously, it's hard to describe so I took a lot of pictures for you. My favorite area is all the candy they have, but they've got everything from baby chicks and ducklings to grills and swimming pools, $10 jeans, firearms, and feed for most animals. You can probably find everything they have at other stores, but they've put it all together here. Was just at this store. Jim the manager was rude and didn't even bother to stop walking when I was trying to speak with him. He didn't care what I wanted nor did he care what was going on. Waited in line for over 5 minutes and when it was my turn the register no longer worked. There was another cashier but, she had a line as well. But it took so long at the one the line was gone. Jim was around the registers the entire time. Not once did he attempt to help his employee let alone a customer. And when I tried to speak to him, he started walking off and would only speak things over his shoulder.. which made it difficult to understand. There was an employee, I didn't get his name unfortunately however he was very helpful. I really wish I had gotten his name. The cashier was nice and it wasn't her fault that the register quit working. The whole situation could have been solved so easily but, Jim never bothered to do his job and attempt to solve the situation. Unfortunately, due to Jim's lack of action I left without the items I wanted to purchase. I really don't think he cared to be honest. It's a shame because I actually love Atwoods and I'm never had a bad experience until today. read more

On my first visit I found something Walmart and Lowe's didn't have- soaker hoses. The store was spacious, well organized, and clean. It reminded me of Tractor Supply but roomier with more items to choose from. Store prices seemed very reasonable. The employees were friendly as well. I'll be back. read more

Disrespectful and unprofessional staff. We stood at the gun counter for around 30 minutes because we wanted to purchase a Case knife from their display. 3 PEOPLE were behind the counter, all doing one thing, none of them said a single word to us or even looked at us. Needless to say, we left without the knife and will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

Atwoods is basically a overgrown Tractor Supply and nothing is wrong with that. I will say that they are very animal friendly as I have never seen a store stocked for animals like they are. We darn near all have animals so that is a good thing. read more
