In Paris and looking for a local french kitchen, and not a typical tourist trap? I think it's…read moreeverybody's dream to find the perfect french restaurant. Then this is the place you should visit. It's situated in the hills in the northern part of Paris, Montmartre.
This is not the most fancy place, but it's the little and cosy place, with tiny tight tables, all run by (what seemed to be) a french family. Nobody here speak english, the waiters only english word throughout the visit was: "water". My terrible french didn't make things better. Luckily one of the costumers knew some words, and could explain us the dishes on the meny.
The meny here doesn't consist of 127 different dishes, just 4 startes, 4 main courses and 4 dessert. All which changes every day. The food was french ans simple, so was the prices. The dishes was stripped from all the decorations, just plain food tasting delicious. Around us sat local frenchmen drinking wine and talking eagerly.
This was by far the best restaurant experience we had i Paris, because it was so french. It's definitely worth a visit!
