Delightful ambiance. The breakfast crêpes were large and tasty (although the crêpe was a little tough).

Au Petit Coin Breton is a wonderful crêperie right in the heart of Old Québec. The menu offers an impressive variety of crêpes--truly something for everyone--and they take food allergies very seriously, which we greatly appreciated. They do accept reservations, and although we arrived without one, the owner kindly took pity on us and squeezed us in. The boys loved the Eggs Benedict and the Assiette du Breton, while the rest of us thoroughly enjoyed our omelets. Hot, strong coffee was refilled regularly, and the service throughout was excellent. A cozy spot with great food and genuinely welcoming hospitality--highly recommend.

Stopped in here with my son for a quick bite, a drink and to warm up. We both ordered the French onion soup gratin and it was amazing! The best I've ever had to be honest! The waitress was super nice and super friendly. We went back the next day to try a crepe for breakfast. It was really good as well. The same waitress and again, she was great!

Amazing breakfast! French toast just melts in your mouth. Whipped yogurt too! Lots of strawberries in the crepe! Very filling and yummy breakfast

I couldn't wait to go back to the hotel to make this review. I'm still here and I wanted to say this is a very good restaurant for breakfast and you will definitely enjoy the food that they will serve you. The ambience is great . We got two omelettes and chocolate, strawberry crêpe, and a classic breakfast and all of them were so good .Pierre-Olivier is great and he checked on us every five minutes to make sure that we don't need anything and he kept filling up our coffee, which is very important to me to have a warm coffee. Big thanks to all staff.

Great food! Best crepe ever and the Gratin is so tasty too. The salad is refreshing, love the dressing!

What a delightful dinner we 3 ladies shared at this cozy restaurant that was oozing with authentic charm, delicious food and warm friendly service from Francis. We learned our crepes were made by a fourth generation family member of the original owners whose smile and joy were welcoming and made us feel at home! We enjoyed crepes, the French onion soup au gratin, a crisp and perfectly dressed salad and shared a lovely dessert crepe with pears, ice cream and hazelnut chocolate! A delicious ending to a perfect cozy dinner!

One Eggs Benedict with all of the delicious sides!

Everything that we ordered was deliciously wonderful including the coffee, which we had several refills! Service was warm and friendly too. We enjoyed watching the chef making the fresh crepes! We'll be sure to return to this charming gem!

The Mont St-Michel, pear and ice cream drizzled with light maple syrup enfolded into a very crispy and delicious crepe.

Right in the heart of St. Jean street in Quebec City we found this charming little restaurant called Au Petit Coin Breton. Their service was extremely slow but the crepes were very good and different from the usual crepe fare. Not that that's bad in itself. These crepes were very thin and crispy. We had just a regular crepe with lemon sauce (the Lorient) and a crepe with fresh pear and ice cream (the Mont St-Michel). I further drizzled the latter with a very light maple syrup. Delicious. Our waitress was dressed in traditional garb just like you see in the picture below. Prices were good, but the service lacked a bit. Still I'd return. Unfortunately their website off of Yelp* is gone. The functioning site is http://aupetitcoinbreton.ca/. You're welcome!

A good choice for breakfast. We shared a 3 egg omelet, a good decision since it as so large. It came with fruit & a tasty crepe.

The restaurant was packed and we were lucky to have gotten the last table. It was outdoors --- seems they do not always have the sidewalk tables set up -- and a lovely day for us to be outside, shaded by the building, gazing up at a church steeple not far down the street and listening to the native French speaker chatting away in the r neighborhood. All crepes are freshly cooked on traditional billig iron griddles, available in both savory and sweet flavors. I tried the duck confit with goat cheese, and it was incredible. The duck meat is tender and juicy, paired perfectly with crispy yet soft buckwheat crepe crust. Caramelized onions blend smoothly with rich cheese, bringing out such a savory and satisfying taste. Pair it with local cider or fresh Guinness draft beer, and your taste buds will be totally satisfied. A well-loved spot on Rue Saint-Jean in Old Quebec. Expect a short wait on weekends. After your brunch, you can easily wander around nearby bookstores and vintage shops for a nice stroll. Rating: 5/5
