There is a seperate performing brand new building for this theater. Stadium seating with a space below that welcomes all children to have front row seating! Above the seating is where the band sits and they actually play live music for the shows! I remember coming to this community theater as a kid (now I am a adult) and they still put on a FABULOUS show! Summer months have even, in the past, offered shows outside! Another perk to this community gem, is the summer camp for kids teaching them about performing arts and of course a production for the community at the end! Great venue! Great shows! Live Music! Allegro has been amazing! It feels like a family and second home for my daughter and there is so much room for her to grow with Allegro as she ages. Lovely teachers, the owner is always friendly and present and checks on the classes, students, and parents. We love it at Allegro and will be there for years to come.

I just left the Crash Test Dummies concert. There was NO BASS GUITAR until the last song in the encore. From the start of the set until the encore, the sound was completely flat. It was murky and you couldn't tell the difference in sound between the piano, lead guitar, acoustic guitar, or accordion. It was all just one volume and a steady mess. I brought 7 guests with me as this was the 8th time I've seen Crash Test Dummies in concert, and my guests were extremely disappointed and did not enjoy the show. The band brought a great performance as always, but this venue is complete garbage when it comes to running sound for a rock concert. I will NEVER go and see another rock concert at this venue and neither should anyone else.

The tradition of the owner, and then the owner's son years later, introducing the movie by doing his 'don't do drugs & turn in a pusher' speech. Do you remember that? Hmmmm if not, you missed out. The floor was often sticky and eventually the chairs were so worn out you sat carefully hoping it wasn't going to break. The popcorn and snacks were always a super deal. But the climb upstairs to the bathrooms was a bit creepy and only one toilet per man/woman's side to accommodate a theater full of people, made for awkward situations. *sigh* reminiscing can be bittersweet sometimes. Now on to its current use. It was bought out from the family who owned it and converted into an events venue. From everyone I know who has since been to one, I am told they did an excellent job with the place and its a great place to reserve for your wedding, conference, etc. My baby sister even hosted a local bands showcase for all ages which worked really well here.
