DO NOT PURCHASE from Audi New Orleans, I purchased a car Nov 2025 and received my license plate and registration May 2026, I called for months, left messages for GM Matthew Baker who was RUDE, ARROGANT and Dismissive, prior to contacting him I left multiple messages for title clerk NANCY, I received a return call after trying to contact her for almost 2months that they did not have a Title for my car it was lost!!!!! After 2 months this is the follow up I get ,this is the worse experience I have ever had with a dealership! I filed a complaint with the DMV and reported to my lender they sold me a car with NO Title! Bottom Line Up Front: Spotty communication, less than adequate customer care, required threat and initiation of action through corporate headquarters and state of Louisiana to obtain satisfaction. Initiated the purchase of a car using Car Gurus as a resource. After chatting back and forth, flew down to New Orleans to examine and potentially drive the vehicle back to the DC area. Car was not ready to be accepted: paint damage, a dent, poor alignment, one tire was sliced. Still interested in the car, so flew back home. Came back a second time, paint still needed significant correction which was then done on site. Shipped the car to DC. Turns out, when I brought the car to have PPF applied, I needed to have the front bumper painted (it was apparently in bad shape) to the tune of $900. Additionally, while this situation was going on, I was having difficulty with getting the car registered (turns out I didn't have all of the information i needed to accomplish this task). The person at Audi New Orleans wasn't calling me back as my temporary registration was due to expire. I finally reached out to both a state agency and Sonic corporate headquarters who intervened on my behalf. Within a day, I was speaking with the dealership GM who eventually made me whole from a financial and administrative perspective (Thank you). Suffice it to say, it shouldn't take this much work to purchase a car. I am thoroughly enjoying the car, very pleased with the final outcome. However, I can honestly say, based upon my experience relayed above, I would not recommend purchasing through this dealership, especially if you live out of state. read more

Horrible communication and service. I inquired about a vehicle, made an offer and got the robot text to confirm receipt. 24 hrs, no response to my offer whether accepted or declined. I reached out and was told they'll get to it soon. 48 hours, still no response. Reached out again and was told the same thing. It's now day 5 and I've reached out daily only to be told they will get to me soon. How long does it take to look a submitted number and respond yes or no? Not a good business model. He gave me his cell phone number for any follow up needs I might have. I went back in for information that I needed when I didn't understand specifics on my vehicle, he helped me as if he had no other customers. I was met with smiles from everyone. Everyone there is so friendly and they treat you like you are the most important person there. Since the purchase, I had to go back in for a quick service. I found that everyone on the service team wanted to make me happy. I had the misfortune of buying a used Audi A4 at this dealership with less than 60,000 miles and the car broke down within 10 months with a total engine failure that was not covered by insurance because it was a mechanical issue. They asked for $15,000 to replace the engine with used parts. My salesperson, Serkan Ozcan, lacked the basic human decency to even return my calls regarding this issue. When this issue is brought up, I'm told he's never heard of such a law suit and that I'm pretty much out of luck and will have to purchase a new sunroof from the dealership. However, in passing a salesman approached me and let me know of the law suit and that this isn't right. At this point, I want a to speak to a manager. Chris goes on a wild goose chase looking for his manager; 45 minutes later still no manager. As a CPA, I could not afford to wait around any longer and asked for a Manager to give me a call. Knowing that was not going to happen, I called the dealership 3 times, left 3 voicemails to what the receptionist claimed was the manager's line. I also texted Chris Burley Multiple times, called him multiple times and left multiple messages. NO REPLY - car was purchased 8/14/2020, I have still not heard back from them and have called a number of times. Complete disregard for customer safety and service, I cannot stress enough how poorly I was treated at this dealership. If you are like me and value customer service, this is not the dealership for you, hell Chris suggested I lie to my insurance and tell them a rock went through it, no words can describe the discontent that this car buying experience has caused me, not the mention the time and effort to get in touch with a manager only to be blown off. We bought a brand new A6 from Audi for an executive in our company. At 6 months old and with 8k miles, the car experienced a "bad gas" incident where it went into limp mode and we had to tow it to Audi of New Orleans for service. After several weeks of being in the shop, with no loaner car, they called to tell us we needed a new $42,000 engine as a result of the bad gas. Since we self-insure on property, we asked for a 2nd opinion. At this point, Audi reneged on their diagnosis and told us we'd have to wait for further analysis. 3 months later, we finally got a loaner A4... but still nothing on the A6. At this point, we purchased a new Mercedes for our executive. 7 months after bringing the car in, and after having to engage legal council, we finally got the car back. The diagnosis went from full engine replacement to a $300 valve swap! Needless to say, we were furious and outraged that this took 7 months for a $300 repair. Throughout the process, the service department was rude, hard to communicate with and obviously incompetent. We've heard similar horror stories from others that have had to deal with this dealership. I brought my car in to have right rear tire repaired due to a slow leak, and I needed to be dropped off at work while the repair is completed. I got a call about 2 hours later saying they found a nail in the tire and it would cost me $55 (deductable). I get off work at 3:00 so I had to call them to pick me at 2:00, but couldn't get anyone to answer till 2:45. I didn't get picked up until 3:50. When I arrived my bill was now $93 from the $55 I was told. To top this all off they changed the wrong tire (left tire). Now they want me to buy another tire at full price. Worst service ever!!!!! I was traveling to New Orleans for business from Houston. En route, the oil light and windshield fluid lights came on. When I checked my oil at the gas station, it was a little low. Although my vehicle is still in warranty, I did not want to do in damage to my vehicle. As soon as I was in town, I went straight to the dealership. Where do I start? I brought my car in and told the service advisor that all of the engine malfunction lights were coming on and he said "are you sure you just didn't have your seat belt on?". He claims there were no issues. It kept happening so I went back with pictures and miraculously they found the issue. When I left following the service, the tire lights came on and there was a panel missing in the trunk with exposed wires. I called on 10/13/23 to explain and the service dept. scheduler said "we can see you in November" and couldn't have cared less if she tried. read more

Coming from the world of BMW, I felt like Audi had some "big cars" to fill but I was super impressed with the customer service and state of the art dealership. I initially worked with another dealer but it was Johnny who got the sale! The entire process took about two weeks because Johnny was so efficient. He has a great rapport with his coworkers and managed to have me ride away in my car a day sooner than anticipated. He was great with his follow up and wasn't overly pushy. Johnny was very sincere with wanting me to ride away in my dream car and worked very intently to reassure me it would happen. 2 instances: I first came here trying to purchase a new vehicle. The vehicle they allowed me to drive was FILTHY and had cigarette butts still in it. When I asked to see a diffferent vehicle and work with me to find a different vehicle fitting of my budget, the sales person didnt bother to show me any other vehicles or work with me. So I took my business elsewhere. Second: I scheduled an appointment for service. I am returning for a second time and will have to return for a third and fourth because I wanted to point out an mmi problem but tech working outside was too busy eating chips when I asked if I could tell him if I could show him what was wrong with my mmi he told me to tell the person at the desk. The person at the desk told me they are too busy to take a look and that the problem I was having is occuring to all models due to an update they were having. I knew it sounded fishy so I called the dealer that i bought the vehicle from and they told me in fact that the update did not apply to my vehicle. I returned again to have it fixed but the new desk person was a lot more understanding but still told me it took too long so I would have to schedule a longer appointment so they could have more time and a loaner. Effectively making it 4 times I would have to return AT LEAST to fix my problem. read more

Just bought a pre-owned Audi A5 Cabriolet convertible with help from David and Stephane and it was the most seamless and wonderful sales experience ever. I've always leased cars and never bought before so I was pretty nervous especially about committing to such a fancy pants car, but they made me feel completely at ease with treating myself. (The phrase "YOLO" was used at least once). In all seriousness though, the dealership is beautiful state of the art building with all the amenities. Disappointed to say the least! Brought my car to Audi New Orleans, I was having issues with accelerating when I push on the gas. Dropped it off Dec 30th on Jan 14th they called and said I had a faulty thermostat and that's why the car was doing what it was doing, on Jan 24th some one called and told me my car would be ready tomorrow Jan 25(my son birthday) about 10, 10:30 but first they had to check the coolant levels. On Jan 25th at 8:11am I received a text saying the car was ready. I went to the dealership, paid the bill and let with the car I drove to Slidell no issues heading back to New Orleans for my son birthday dinner the car gave a warning COOLANT LEVELS were to hot or engine to hot, it flashed really fast then the car shut down on the INTERSTATE I was able to pull to the service road by the grace of GOD. But me and my son was stranded on the side of the road in NEW ORLEANS EAST for 2 1/2 hours he missed his dinner and Audi allowed me to drive the car and it wasn't fixed at all. I had it towed to Audi the next day I was given a loaner car and told they call me when they figure it out on Friday nobody called to see how I was doing how I made out anything! The service called Friday about 3pm and said a faulty thermostat was placed in my car and they would kept it until Monday or Tuesday to do a few test drives. I can't believe the lack of empathy I just can't believe it. I had a anxiety attack, was stranded in NEW ORLEANS EAST with the tail end of my car sticking out with my 14 year old son on his BIRTHDAY we could have gotten car jacked, robbed or had a bad accident THANK GOD none of that took place I'm still having panic attacks thanks to this incident and there's no empathy there's no sense of urgency. I'm so disappointed! My son Birthday was ruined I am hurt, he'll never forget that we are traumatized this is disheartening. read more

I walked in here about two years ago and I never came back. I literally bought a car from CA and had it shipped to NOLA because I refuse to ever deal with their sales department again. (BTW Rusnak Audi in Pasadena shipped my brand new Premium Plus A5 to me for free!) The story: My partner and I were "offered" to lease an A4 with no add-ons for about $550 a month (plus tax and fees). I bought my last Audi in CA and perhaps I am spoiled from car buying in a city with multiple audi dealerships but $550+ a month is a TERRIBLE offer for a stock A4. I will never buy a car from this dealership because their prices are not competitive. Yes, I understand that an Audi is a luxury car, but I want the price of my Audi to be competitive with other Audi dealerships. These cars are nice but the staff acts like you need to be deemed worthy of buying a Bentley before they will seriously work with you. They get one star because my partner recently took in my A5 for regular service and the visit was without incident. This is an aging dealership with an outdated way of doing business. They don't understand that young people wearing casual clothes are savvy car buyers- we can afford nice cars and we want a good deal. You can make an appointment for service although on this last occasion that I went in was without an appointment to replace a tire due to a large nail in the sidewalk. The receptionist was knowledgeable and friendly as was the cashier. I was out in less than an hour with a new tire and a cleaned interior and exterior. I also appreciate the (free) coffee machine that dispenses coffee, lattes, espressos and cappuccinos. They also offer cookies and croissants while you wait. The waiting area is roomy and quiet and includes a TV. Also, if the wait for service is going to be long they offer a loaner - or a ride home or elsewhere. read more

We were told that for the first year, we'd be provided a loaner car, and a free tow should the car not be drivable. (and at the time, I thought... well, that won't happen to a new car) I have a 7 month old, 60 THOUSAND dollar car, with less than 10K miles on it sitting in my driveway. No loaners available, AND... the best part... we were told we'd have to pay for the tow ourselves. Please do not believe a word they say during the sales process. They're just saying it to get your money. I've had many cars in my life, and I never thought I'd have one that's as much a lemon as this one, and certainly never had to deal with the blatant dishonesty, and more importantly, total disregard, from any dealership I've done business with. Save your money, and sanity, and go somewhere else. I'd also like to add, when these engine lights started going off, we were told it would be A MONTH before they could get us into their service department, so evidently, a LOT of their cars are as unreliable as the one we wasted 60K on. After tons of shopping and research I decided to purchase a 2012 Audi Q5 from New Orleans Audi. The sales experience was up front and pleasant, that's also the only part that's been up front and pleasant. I've had my vehicle since August and it's been in the shop for over a month so far. The car sounds like it's falling apart, and their attempts to fix my sunroof have only made the problem worse, in addition to leaving large scratches on the glass. The first time I took it in for the sunroof they had my vehicle for an entire week, stating that they were extensively road testing it to make sure they got it fixed. I didn't mind the wait because I was confident that they were actually trying to fix it, I was wrong. My vehicle had barely more than 1 mile more on it than when I took it in for the routine service and sunroof repair. I asked the service manager how all of the extensive road tests only resulted in 1 mile, his answer was less than satisfactory as he tried to lie his way out of it, much to my aggravation. Since then I have taken it in twice more, during which time it's spent an entire week getting "fixed" only to pick it up and find that it's not only not fixed but it's WORSE. I decided contacting the manufacturer might result in a better resolution. After another 3 weeks, and no assistance from Audi other than "We are looking into it" I've had enough. I would stay as far as humanly possible from Audi, and especially from the service department here. read more

I purchased a used 2016 Q5 last October after being told the car was in perfect working order and had been checked for any issues. The day I got home from the dealership, I was looking at around at all the features of my new car. When I tried to turn on the "side assist" feature , the car read and error message, "Side Assist: System fault!". I was confused by what that meant, so I let them know right away that there was a problem. They scheduled a maintenance appointment-- the first available was two months out. In the meantime, I took my car to Audi Baton Rouge for a scheduled oil change and to look at getting an air filter replaced because my car started smelling like sour mold every time I turned it on. I guess the fact I was due for an oil change less than two months after buying my car should have been the first red flag. It was during their servicing, Audi Baton Rouge told me they found SEVERAL "critical concerns" with my new car... They gave me an estimate with a surprisingly long list of issues. The most notable concerns were a driver-side front axel boot tear, a tire replacement on "a relatively new" tire. As far as the side assist feature, Baton Rouge suggesting going back to Audi New Orleans, as they should have been willing to fix it for little to no cost since the issue existed before I bought the car and it wasn't disclosed. (Without the side assist issue included) The estimate came out to roughly $4,000 for my new, perfectly functioning car. So, obviously, I called Audi New Orleans very angry and confused. They said they'd be willing to "work" with me about the axel boot tear, considering this problem required Audi to replace my entire axel which cost over $2,000. They discounted that a little which was nice, I guess... they still charged more than what they quoted without letting us know. But truly, the saddest part is, the Side Assist feature has never gotten fixed because they were going to charge me over $2,000 to fix even though the problem existed before I bought the car. I even complained about the problem within two days of my purchase date. I might have noticed it sooner, like before I bought the car, but it was turned off and never shown to me. I'm still driving around without my Side Assist working. I've since come to the conclusion that they did not check the car practically at all when it was traded in. If they did, they turned the feature off and neglected to show me that when I was checking out the car. It's never fun to be ripped off. I would have at least negotiated the price or not bought the car at all if they had been transparent. Moral of the story--drive the extra 50 miles to Audi Baton Rouge! It's truly upsetting because Audi New Orleans was nice, but clearly not nice enough to tell me the truth about the condition of my car when I purchased DESPITE me asking if it had been fully checked for problems and if everything was in working order. read more
