While the salesperson was friendly enough on the lot, they could not have been less helpful in procuring an actual car. In addition, with our credit score of over 800 we were quoted a truly usurious interest rate. They then told me that the rate was set by Volks/Porsche and that the dealership had NO discretion on lease/purchase rates. After waiting for several days with no assistance forthcoming we proceeded to Porsche in Mobile, Al, on the way to our beach condo, and promptly bought a wonderful new Porsche, with a Porsche finance rate of ~4.5 percent. Sales staff here explained that money factor/interest rates are influenced by the dealership's desire to profit and are discretionary. Alabama's Gorgeous dealership, friendly salespeople, and great financing were all worth the trip. BTW, staff at the AL dealership were clearly used to NOLA's business coming their way.

I was promised a call after lunch with an update--no one ever reached out. I had to chase them down myself, only to be told they "couldn't recreate the issue," so they didn't even run a diagnostic. After I pushed back, I was suddenly told the issue had actually been reproduced earlier that morning--yet no one bothered to communicate that or explain what was wrong. When I picked up my vehicle, multiple warning lights immediately came on. Then I was told it needed to stay overnight, which made no sense considering they had already wasted an entire day doing nothing. I purchased this vehicle from them in cash and also bought a warranty, which has been completely useless. I ended up diagnosing the problem myself and paying to have it fixed elsewhere--something they should have been able to handle. They had multiple chances to make this right and failed. Poor communication, no accountability, and a complete disregard for the customer's time. Avoid this place.
