The q5 i purchased here ended up being a piece of junk. Days after pulling out of the lot, all kinds of banging and clunking coming from the front end suspension. The ride has become very bouncy and shaky on the road. The AC worked for maybe 2 days before going out completely. Thermostat all of the sudden needs replaced. Never have I purchased a vehicle with so many issues this quick after purchasing. I thought going to a dealer would be the safe choice, but I was wrong. read more

I bought a used 2023 Audi A5 from Audi Novi. I feel that I could have just purchased one from an individual vs this dealership and saved money. The dealership was aware that the brakes needed to be replaced when I bought it, but they did not disclose that the car needed this $3200 service when I bought it. The only reason I found out about the brakes was because 4 days after I bought it, the car broke down for what was a warranty repair. So I had it fixed at Audi Novi. The service department sent me the inspection report which listed the brakes failed inspection. When the keys needed new batteries on the second day I owned it, that was an indication of things to come. When I confronted the salesman about it, he said, "Didn't I show you the inspection report?"Well, no, he hadn't. Nor did he have my signature on the report in the dealership file. When I asked for some help with this since it was not disclosed, the Sales manager declined to provide any remedy. Buyer beware. Apparently it is Audi Novi practice to sell vehicles with known issues and not disclose them. I wish I had read the other 1 star reviews here because there's an obvious pattern. Now, I'm waiting for the next shoe to drop because they know things about the car I don't know, and given the way the engine failed that caused me to need it serviced, I'm suspicious whether it was just enough to cause a problem that would lead to them getting me in for service. I flew from Nashville, TN to purchase a 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback after speaking with their team and being reassured that the only issues with the vehicle were a few minor cosmetic blemishes. I even asked if there were any other concerns at all, and they sent me three surface body flaws -- nothing else. Based on that, I trusted them, booked a flight, and made the trip. Upon test driving the car, it felt fine, so I completed the purchase. But halfway through my 10-hour drive home, I noticed a wobble. When I pulled over and inspected the suspension, I was absolutely shocked -- the entire suspension system is severely rusted, with visible holes, flaking metal, and deterioration, including the steering knuckle. I wish I could post photos. When I contacted the manager, Zach, I was told this was "normal surface rust for a snow car." Even when I pointed out the actual holes and structural corrosion, he said, "We've seen worse." I'm in the car business myself -- I sell BMWs -- and I made that clear to them from the start. They had a technician inspect the car before I arrived, so there's no excuse for them not knowing what they were selling. Even worse, they gave me a "green" inspection report claiming everything was fine. How does a vehicle with holes in the suspension pass inspection? I'm not trying to return the car. I just want help covering the $2,500+ in parts it's going to take to make this car safe again. I'll do the labor myself -- but it's disgraceful that this passed as acceptable, and that they let me drive it 600+ miles like this. If you're buying from here -- do not trust their word or their inspection. Get your own third-party inspection done. I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of transparency and accountability from a luxury dealership that should know better. Review of Audi of Novi / Farmington Hills Being a loyal BMW customer for the past 25 years, this was our first time purchasing an Audi -- and unfortunately, it's been a deeply disappointing experience. I brought our Audi to the Farmington Hills/Novi dealership for what should have been a routine oil change. The car has only 16,000 miles on it and was purchased just eight months ago as a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle. Here's what I was told needed immediate attention: * Rotors and brake pads - $1,700 * Dislodged sensor - $600 (Despite no visible damage to the front end and no indication of an impact) * Tire rotation - $600 * Oil change - free this time, but normally $250 Despite the car's low mileage and certified status, none of these issues were covered under the CPO warranty. The dealership offered no support or accommodation -- everything would be out of pocket. This experience completely contradicts what I expected from a premium brand like Audi. After 25 years with BMW, where service and warranty coverage have consistently met or exceeded expectations, this has been a real letdown. It feels like Audi of Novi is selling vehicles that aren't properly inspected or backed by their CPO claims. I strongly urge anyone considering a purchase from this dealership to have the vehicle independently inspected before buying. Update to my review. It is now 48 hours later and I still have not received a call back from Jerron the service manager. I left him 3 messages. This dealership is after screwing you out of money. My car is a 2024 and under warranty. Here are facts: #1, I had a low tire pressure light on. For some reason, the dealer put metal valve caps on my car when I got it. They were corroded on. I simply asked them to remove them so that I could put air in the tire. They wanted to charge me $250 to replace them with plastic. Again, I did NOT put those on. This is how the car came. I took the car to discount tire and they did it for free. #2. A light on my dashboard came on a few days after this. I went back to this dealership. Justin told me they couldn't look at my car but will make me an appointment. No problem- I made an appointment for the next week. I bought my car in and it sat there for 2 days with no information. They did not offer any loaner or any estimate of when I would have my car back. Justin then tried to tell me that my car was hit or someone hit me and that I may be responsible for $600 diagnostic fee. Never happened. I took my car to Auto Zone where they did a diagnostic on my car. Audi set me up to try to get me to pay. The light on my dash is completely not related to the alignment that they tried to say was caused by the "accident". So absurd. I cant believe this dealership can treat people like this. I have a Q5 Sportback Audi that purchased in 2024, it had 28miles on it is a 2022 model. I have been hearing squeaking noises when I turn the wheel and when I go at slow speeds when turning it makes a grinding noise--I took it to this Dealer in Novi--they kept the car for 2 days didn't tell me when it was ready I had to keep calling them, no updates were provided then they stated that there was nothing wrong-- I don't believe them this car is too new to have these sounds and issues. I called the dealer on Monday 6/23/25 to speak to the service manager and he did not bother to call me back. I called again today 6/25/25 and of course there is no one I can speak to. I have to admit, I was really ticked off about the recall on my new car and my last review showed it. However, I have to commend Farmington HIlls Audi, the second time around. They rectified the situation and I feel much more confident and valued as a customer. I love my Q3 and now that everything is running perfectly, I love it even more. I'm due for an oil change in the near future and feel confident that they will continue to live up to their promise of great customer service. I think the extent of the recent recall really caught the dealerships off guard and this is unfortunate and probably had a negative impact on them as parts were just not available (in the last couple of years, many of us have experienced delays in parts and products, sadly). With this experience behind me, I look forward to continuing my relationship with them. read more

I brought my Audi Q7 in for an oil change and air filter replacement at this dealership. They told me that it also should have the spark plugs replaced, the engine cleaned and the coolant flushed. They presented me with an estimate of $1250 for these services. When I asked for an itemized break-down of the price for each item, it added up to $1067, not $1250. I was told it would take about 1 1/2 hours, so I waited on site. After 1 1/2 hours, I was told that the coolant was "hot" so they needed to let the car sit and cool before they could flush the coolant. They said this would take another 45 minutes. After another hour, I asked if I could pay before it was done as I was going to be late for a work call (not expecting my oil change to take three hours). As she pulled the paperwork together, she told me they would give me a discount b/c it took so long. And yet the final bill was $1142 -over $100 more than the cost of what i had asked them to itemize in their estimate. As I again asked for an explanation as to why the cost was now more despite them claiming they would give me a discount, she explained that the air filter cost about $28 more than she anticipated and she hadn't included the labor for the air filter replacement. I paid the bill but said I wouldn't sign their form confirming that i had authorized these charges until I could get home and review them carefully. I was then told they wouldn't give me my keys back until I signed their form confirming that I had agreed to these charges, b/c they "could be audited." i had to get a manager to get my keys back. when i got home, their numbers still didn't add up. their original "estimate" of 1250 was $200 over what the itemized charges actually were. The work took twice as long as they told me it would. and they charged $530 for labor despite telling me that they had to let my car sit for 45 min while the coolant "cooled" (despite the fact that i had only driven it ten minutes that morning). so their labor charges are apparently over $200/hour. needless to say i own two audis but will not be taking my cars for service at this dealership any longer. read more

This dealership has the worst service I have ever experienced. Every time I come here I try to give them another chance and they continue to disappoint. This time I come in to drop at 915. They take keys and tell tell me to sit. After 30 minutes I go ask if anyone is checking me in. They repeat what I made appointment for and say it will be a couple hours and if I was waiting... I'd like a ride. No need to call a Lyft for me I could wait for shuttle. Hour and half later I go ask about my ride . Or if car is almost done since it's been 2 hours. "Couple more hours before they will know the problem." They blamed me for missing ride. I asked others here. Noone ever came through. 25 minutes I'm still waiting. read more

I have to edit my review to 1 star and tell why. I received a coupon by mail for a full synthetic oil change for $69.00 usually it cost 170.00 at Audi dealer. I thought wow great deal make an appointment and have it done. Big mistake the 1 hr oil change turned into a 4.3 hr headache. The finale bill came out to $379.00. I got the oil change then had a license plate bulb out and a brake light bulb out. The quote they sent me over text was $12 for brake light and $7 for plate light. They never said it was going to be $170 for labor. To change 2 stupid bulbs anyone could have changed in 5 minutes. When I got the bill after wasting all day I was floored. I asked the lady so your telling me it took 1 hr labor for a certified Audi technician 1 hr to change brake light she knocked it down to 1/2 hr labor $70. What could I do I'm stuck then she forgot to discount my coupon -$100.00 I had to remind her of that so my $69.00 oil change cost me $170 and they didn't give me my complimentary car wash either but by that time I didn't say anything because I was already there for 4.5 hours. My final bill was $169.98 for a $69.99 oil change. So disappointed never go here and expect what you would think would be Audi quality service. read more

Worst dealership and car repair I have ever encountered. Zero competence paired with terrible customer service. 8 weeks for A/C repair. 1 month later, A/C stopped working again. Refused to provide follow-up appointment in under 3 months wait. Finally, brought the car back and it took again 8 weeks. Loaner car was provided after over 5 weeks wait and two complaints to Audi USA. Terrible communication of status updates. I had to come in multiple times in person, since nobody picked up the phone or returned voice mails for days. Car also has drivability issues after cold start. Throughout the 8 week the car spent in the shop, I was told there is a software update that will fix it. When I picked up the car, there was no recollection that we discussed this issues multiple times and that I was told it will be fixed. It was not. Car also had brake shutter issues. They replaced only the rear rotors (not the pads that are worn too). Brake shutter issues persist. No acknowledgement of the issues or willingness to look into it further. I was willing to pay whatever it takes to fix these brakes. I guess they must have more important customers that get priority. Complaints to their general manager were useless too. I will never come back to this place nor will I ever buy Audi again. read more

Trent Pfauser -Dates for pick up he advised me changed not once or twice but 3 times. -Communication was horrible about vehicle status I had to drive up just to be added back to his text list. -Trent was very stand offish when his mistakes were pointed out. - He wasn't capable of advising of information on packages for purchase in regards to maintenance vs Audi Extended care plan. - He accused me of denying a service maintenance that he never presented. Argued with me about it. Very unprofessional. I have owned 3 Audi's, This is the only time I have had an issue with a service technician. All others have been great. All it takes is one person to ruin a companies Rep. Cheryl was great every time I dealt with her, With my S4 and my RS. She needs to be brought back, Trent needs to be sat down and talked to. I also received my car back with broken glass on the dash board still not sure what that was from. If I had a child with me in the car one of them could of been injured due to this. read more

I've had an incredibly disappointing experience attempting to purchase a certified used Q5 at Audi Farmington Hills. We saw the car online and sent a trusted family friend (an attorney) to test drive it, as we live in Ohio. Wanting to proceed with purchase, I called the Used Vehicle Director to introduce myself and explain our circumstance; during the course of our conversation, he told me he believed we were running a scam. Incredibly offended, I suggested he contact our bank, Navy Federal, to confirm our financing. I followed up with a phone call three days later and our friend graciously returned to the dealership in an attempt to finalize a deal. My husband, deployed in Japan, e-mailed the Used Vehicle Director and the salesman to confirm the validity of our Power of Attorney, financing, and reaffirm our interest. No one bothered to respond. I am thoroughly disgusted and disappointed with the service department of this dealership. My car was picked up for service for the replacement of an airbag, as per a factory recall. At the same time that service was scheduled, I also scheduled the repair of the TPMS (tire pressure) light not going out and replacement of brake lights. After the inspection, at 4:12 P.M., I was informed by Jessika Dlugosz (via email) that I needed a 900 dollar brake job, which I declined to have done at that time, as well as the replacement of a brake light bulb, which I requested be done while my car was in service. The time of my reply was 4:17 P.M. At 4:20 P.M., she contacted me and informed me that the brake light would have to be ordered, and that they simply "did not have time" to address the TPMS issue. At that time, my car had been in Audi service since approximately 9:30 A.M. My car was back in my driveway at 4:35 P.M. Even in light traffic, the distance between my home and the Audi dealership is at least a 23-minute drive.   I found it odd that a dealership with an expansive parts department would not have such a run-of-the-mill item as a brake light. I called to inquire, and was told that indeed, that part was in stock. Clearly, there was never any interest in performing that service, since it is obvious that they were in the process of returning my vehicle to me before I even replied as to whether or not I would accept their recommended  services. They kept my car for nearly 7 hours to perform what I was told was roughly a 2-hour job. I am glad that I have a regular, trustworthy mechanic. Purchased a certified used Audi with a clean carfax approximately 3 years ago from this dealership. Had recurrent issues with tires, but didn't think much of it since I purchased the tire protection service. After 3 years of ownership, I was offered by another Audi dealership during a routine maintenance to trade the car in. After their appraisal, they told me that the car has been in 3 accidents before I purchased it as the carfax was delayed in updating the information. The car was fixed but not with original parts from Audi. The initial tire issues I was having was related to bent axel. I don't know what certification laws are, but improperly fixed vehicles should not carry an Audi Certified Used title. This dealership's standards are questionable. Eight days ago a car a purchased form the Suburban collection was towed in for service. its been 8k miles since i purchased it. In those 8 days i have called 4 times to find out what was wrong with my car, and I still have no answer. To my knowledge my car still has not been looked at. I purchased from the Collection because of their reputation. I should have researched the service department better. That is on me; but what isn't is how my family has been ignored for a week. I didn't spend 75 to 100k on this vehicle, but my reality is this car was the most expensive auto purchase I have ever made. It been eight days of silence. Nobody has reached out to us to offer a timeline, to apologize for any delays or even to offer my family a loaner car to drive while we are without ours. The Brand Specialist Torben Neudoeffer, offered his assistance. I let him know that I was just browsing and I wouldn't be purchasing a new car anytime soon. That didn't stop him. Our experience was NOT good. We purchased our 2015 Audi Q5. Before the purchase my husband and I were told by our sales person that the car did not have the "navigation package"; however, we would be able to use Google in the car to connect and have a form of navigation. The next day after the purchase we drove up north. We tried to connect with Google and were not able to. We called our sales person, she said she would have to find out. She never called us back. When I called her back she told me we were unable to have any form of navigation and there was nothing she or we could do to add it to the car. I called her supervisor and he was very rude. He basically called me a liar; saying the sales person would never have said anything like that. The Audi is great. The people are a disappointment. read more

However, I received an estimate for some work at my 65,000 service that included work that didn't need to be done and more than half of the cost was for labor ($1,086.65). I have a few family members that work in the industry suggested I get a second opinion...boy am I glad I did. I don't want to assume that I'm being taken advantage of because I'm a female and I sure hope that's not the case. In any case, shame on this ridiculous estimate! This dealer was able to program a new to key to my A8. Took it to a dealer in Lansing that had it for two weeks and couldn't program the key. Had to it towed 90 miles to this dealership in Farmington hills. They had it programmed and running in less than two hours. Friendly staff nice place to relax while waiting for your car. read more

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Not only was the car not ready at the time it was supposed to be, it came with a windshield cracked. (I understand, things happen) Drove out there multiple times (45 minute drive) to be turned away because the car wasn't ready yet. They said they'd tint the windows for free for the inconvenience.. after being jerked around for a month, the windows finally got tinted. A month after that, they didn't have the insurance registered so there were multiple calls about that. Then, we were emailed saying they "misplaced my contract" and needed to re-sign it and pay for the first two months (one of these months SHOULD have been collected at delivery, but apparently never was). THEN - the piece to the grill that we should have had at delivery is STILL not here. We have been promised three weeks ago to get a call from the general manager to talk about all of the inconveniences we've had and how unprofessional they are... They said the GM knows about the issues we've faced but still has NOT called me. What GM allows a customer to deal with so many issues when purchasing a "high end" vehicle and doesn't reach out to them? Especially after being requested to? ON TOP OF ALL THIS, we still do not have the grill piece, almost 3 months later... and are not getting any responses regarding any of this.
