DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FORM AUDI OF SAN FRANCISCO. I have been trying to get a copy of the Title for my vehicle for over a year and they have not returned any correspondence from the Audit Credit company or returned my call. IT'S BEEN OVER ONE YEAR! I've wasted time at the Nevada DMV as well as the California DMV just for them to tell me that the dealership never submitted the title. Now, the VW Credit INC is chasing them to correct the problem and they have done nothing. This is the second and last Audi vehicle I will ever purchase. Audi of San Francisco has done nothing to help me or credit company in correcting their mistake. My next report will be to the Better Business Bureau. read more

My wife and I visited Audi San Francisco last week to replace our beloved 14 year old Audi Q5. We had a truly wonderful experience, and would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to make an informed decision on their vehicle in a no-pressure environment. The details: we called ahead to make an appointment and upon arrival at met with one of the dealership reps, Alastair Pakiam. Alastair immediately made us feel at home, and we let him know we were looking to replace our current vehicle with a new model. Alastair has excellent product knowledge and walked us through our options, and we quickly zeroed in on an appropriate. We then went on a test drive with exactly the vehicle we were interested, and decided to make our purchase. There was no sales pressure at all from Alastair, nor from the sales manager who kindly introduced himself to our family (and family pup, who made the journey with us) midway through the process. The sales manager learned we were looking to trade our current vehicle in, and we to go inspect it. His appraisal of the vehicle was very fair, which is to say 100% honest. We'd had it looked at by our mechanic a few days prior, and the manager had the same opinions - which made us very comfortable to proceed with the trade-in. We paid cash for the vehicle, so nothing to report on how financing works. That said, we did meet the finance manager Yakov to handle finalization of documents and review some extra vehicle prep services available from the dealership. Again, everyone was very professional and there was no pressure at any time. We also worked with Alastair to get set up on the Audi app, which requires some basic account setup. This was a seamless experience, and Alastair was very happy to answer all questions we had (and still is, I've contacted him since with a few questions). Overall, it was about as good as an experience as I could have hoped for. Audi San Francisco is a great operation start to finish. If you're in the market for a new vehicle, do yourself a favor and give Alastair a call. You'll be happy you did! read more

Don't spend your money here--these guys aren't interested in it. Made an appointment to see a car they had in stock. When I get there they realize the car is "loaned out to a friend of the owner's" and they have no clue when it'll be back. Then they offer to bring it to me to see when it's back as a "way to make things right"--a week later that's proven to be a total lie, and they want a guaranteed sale in hand before they even show me the car. I still make a good faith offer within 1% of what they're asking, they dismiss it and don't even bother countering. The salesman was kind and clearly doing his best to manage the unprofessionalism, but the sales manager spent maybe 15 seconds talking to me in the dealership and literally ran away when I tried to bring up how much of my time they've wasted. On top of that they tried to lowball the value of my trade in (also an Audi in excellent condition) until I showed them my Carvana offer, and made me find my own lender too because they couldn't come up with a rate even in the ballpark of being competitive. Literally all they had to do was show me the car and agree on price--they still haven't figured out how to do that. Sent a message to management after all this to see if anyone could be bothered to do their jobs, and didn't even get a response. They clearly don't care at all that they converted a 100% sale to a 0% sales due to sheer incompetence and bad management. Worst ever sales experience at a luxury car dealership. We wanted to negotiate our car lease via email and not go into the dealer until we had everything ironed out. Unlike other dealers, they were perfectly fine with this and were low pressure. To top things off, we weren't able to make it into the dealer to sign a few docs that required wet signatures. Guess what Alastair did? He drove the car to us (along with the docs we needed to sign)! I am not a car entuhisist. I need to trust the dealership as I know little or nothing about differences in product. I have purchased or leased my car from royal Audi 4 times as they have always bent over backwards to walk me though whatever special needs are correct for my family at our Age. I never negotiate and they never try and upgrade me to something I don't need. The service department is another reason why I choose them as they have always been upfront with me and to the best of my knowledge have never had to reimburse them for service. read more

I purchased my Audi Q5 from Audi SF in October 2018. The sale was sub par to say the least and was definitely not Audi standards. I am very aware of Audi standards, since I had previously owned an A4 which I purchased at Audi of Marin. Audi SF did not give me the extra key to the vehicle, they did not fill the fuel on the vehicle, they also did not provide the book that belongs to the car. All of those items had to be procured weeks later. The sales man was more concerned with taking smoke breaks and he didn't even ride in the vehicle with me when I test drove it. He handed me the keys and took off. To say the least, I was not impressed with their customer service. I loved my Q5 until I noticed (in March 2024) that the bumper was turning yellow. When I noticed this, I immediately contacted Barsotti's auto repair, which is one of two certified Audi authorized body repair shops in California. The other certified auto body repair shop is in Los Angeles. I have and always will take my Audis to this repair facility because they are certified through Audi. I will never go to any other place. That being said, both Barsotti's and I assumed that Barsotti's had painted my bumper previously when I had brought it in for a cosmetic repair/scrape on my trunk lid (that happened twice from my garage door track). On the day of repair, I brought my Q5 in to Barsotti's. They told me at that time that they had checked their records and did not see a bumper repair. They had only done the trunk lid twice, but not the bumper. I contacted Audi corporate and they said the paint warranty was 5 years, and I was out of that timeframe so it would not be covered. I decided that I would pay out of pocket ($3,500), since I did not want to drive a vehicle around with a yellowing bumper. When Barsotti's started the repair, the called me immediately to tell me that whoever owned the vehicle prior to myself had done a very bad repair on the bumper and that was why it was yellowing. They said the repair was so badly done that they did not remove the bumper from the vehicle, and instead taped off the lights and painted it while still on the car. I contacted Audi corporate (again) to notify them of the issue. They filed a claim and said that they would be contacting Audi SF to notify them that they are aware of the issue and for Audi SF to address it. I sent a detailed email to Audi SF, included the case number, Barsotti's emails regarding the damage/work done, photos, and the invoice. I received a call today from the manager at Audi SF. They are refusing to pay for the issue. Audi SF was the first and only other owner of my Audi Q5. They owned the car from September 2015 (first date of service recorded with Audi corporate), and used it as a loaner vehicle. They then warehoused it for a year, until I came to purchase it in 2018. They did not disclose any damage or previous damage at the time of the sale. The manager, Dave, said that they are authorized to repair any of their own vehicles, but my claim is not their problem and they will not be reimbursing me anything for the incorrectly done repair. I will never purchase a vehicle from this dealership again. They are shady and do not have any standards, let alone Audi standards. read more
