They therefore charged me for the full price (which was very high), faked on programming it on the phone when it was already programmed, then I found out it was not necessary. I question if they thereafter filed for warrenty as they had all of my personal information. Recently I had to replace another aid it came under warranty at no COST! Beware of stores who take advantage of senior citizens.

Anyway, I get this flyer in the mail just in time from Miracle Ear in Bensalem, offering free screening and some other discounts. Made an appt - the person on the phone was very friendly and in addition, the staff and doctor were as well. First time visit was great. Hearing test results revealed my hearing loss in left ear was about the same (not good), but right ear was good. I spoke with Dr. Kyle, very friendly and took time to answer all my questions, and showed me the different hearing devices and payment options. OK, I was sold. I ordered a transmitter for the left ear and aid for the right. WHAT - I can hear again. And I continue to go for checkups to ensure the quality of aids are performing as they should. These visits are included with the price of the hearing aids. I even had my first hearing aid stop working properly and it was replaced free of charge. I definitely would recommend Miracle Ear on Rockhill Drive in Bensalem, PA. He also has other offices, but this location is very close for me. When initially fitted, they used the results of a 5 month old hearing test. The new ones didn't sound right, so I made a second appointment and insisted on a new hearing test and reprogram, which they did. Still wasn't satisfied since my old set still worked better. Made a 3rd appointment and was told one of the hearing aides was missing data for several frequencies. Even after 3 efforts, I still didn't think they were right. Gave up and paid a different audiologist to perform a hearing test, erase the previous programing completely and reprogram them. It was his opinion that they were programmed by amateurs. Not only did the reprogram result in the new hearing aides working better than the old, I was told one of the domes was the wrong type, and that a separate program could be added to reduce background noise to enhance speech--a major problem for me. This program was added as a 5th program. Main Line only programmed 4 channels, one of which was totally useless. My visits were with 3 separate audiologists, 2 of whom had another person stop in to help. The audiologist I worked with in the past no longer worked there. I was a patient for at least 8 years and purchased my last set from them. Until last year the service was satisfactory. Something clearly changed.
