Another GREAT visit. Woke up ear pain after a shower. My ENT was unable to see me, so I called Main Line Audiology and they told me to come in immediately. UNBELIEVABLE SERVICE and CARE. They reassured me that nothing serious was wrong and discovered I had gotten some water in my ear during my shower, and told me it was already starting to drain naturally through my recently inserted ear tubes. They reassured me that my surgical ear tubes were working fine, and I left feeling so much better. Again, they are knowledgeable and compassionate. And they understand that ear pain is an emergency!!! What more can anyone expect? Love this group of Doctors. What is really great is if your doctor is unavailable, all other docs are ready to step in and fix you up. Don't go anywhere else. read more

Purchased Oticon's top of the line hearing aides to replace a 6 year old pair that were failing. Paid full price ($6,000) as I had no insurance. When initially fitted, they used the results of a 5 month old hearing test. The new ones didn't sound right, so I made a second appointment and insisted on a new hearing test and reprogram, which they did. Still wasn't satisfied since my old set still worked better. Made a 3rd appointment and was told one of the hearing aides was missing data for several frequencies. Even after 3 efforts, I still didn't think they were right. Gave up and paid a different audiologist to perform a hearing test, erase the previous programing completely and reprogram them. It was his opinion that they were programmed by amateurs. Not only did the reprogram result in the new hearing aides working better than the old, I was told one of the domes was the wrong type, and that a separate program could be added to reduce background noise to enhance speech--a major problem for me. This program was added as a 5th program. Main Line only programmed 4 channels, one of which was totally useless. My visits were with 3 separate audiologists, 2 of whom had another person stop in to help. The audiologist I worked with in the past no longer worked there. I was a patient for at least 8 years and purchased my last set from them. Until last year the service was satisfactory. Something clearly changed. It troubles me to have to write such a negative review, but I don't want anyone to go through what I did. Roy T. read more

Had not had a hearing exam in years, and having reached Medicare age figured it was time. Recommended by my PCP at Main Line Health (note: they are NOT affiliated with Main Line Health). Made appointment over the phone with the assistant, arrived on time, seen on time, departed 40 minutes later after a quite thorough exam and evaluation including the traditional "booth" test, and an examination of both ears, and a data analysis of the booth test results. I am posting this on behalf of my 92 year old father, a longtime patient of the practice, who went into their office to have his nonfunctional hearing aid removed. He stayed in the waiting room for one hour begging them to help him while my 89 year old mother waited in the car. When the technician finally came out to see him she reused to help and asked him to come back another day. Ten years of paying thousands of dollars and this is the service and treatment he received. The removal of a hearing aid takes five seconds, but instead of offering to help she turned away laughing. Disgraceful on every level. read more

I have a very unusual type of hearing loss ( reverse slope) . This is the only audiologist that has helped me hear . The office on Montgomery road is very nice and very little time is spent in the waiting room . I recommend Dr Goodman to anyone with a hearing loss she can help you . read more

I have been a client of Kathy for several years and have always been satisfied. My recent visit and the new hearing aids she recommended was nothing short of a mind-blower! One of the things that makes her great, is that she is always on the cutting edge of technology. I walked out with the latest Oticon aids, that are Bluetooth controlled. I can actually hear sounds, the volume of which controlled by my iPhone!!! so I can now hear phone calls directly through my hearing aids! and I can increase or decrease the volume based on the environment where I am. I hear sounds and nuances I haven't heard since youth!! I can also listen to Pandora or Spotify music directly through my aids. Where before I was embarrassed and hiding, I am now telling everyone, I am so excited!!! while on the expensive side, you owe it to yourself. I am certainly glad I invested in them. read more

I have had several sets of hearing aids but they never seemed to be ideal. I know, as someone with hearing loss, that attaining fully normal hearing is not always possible or expected. I decided to ask Main Line Audiology for an evaluation. Dr. Harrington was honest and thought is was likely I could do better. I was given a trial pair of hearing aids to try for a week. A tremendous difference. The Oticons I tried were like "Bose" to my hearing. Background noise diminished and overall sound quality improved. Thank you read more
