    Fog Light Halo wires
    Jaron F.

I came here for two services, install halo headlights, and install air suspension on my Dodge Challenger. A. Air Suspension - there's only one tech that worked on my suspension. There was very little communication regarding the process and completion. If that tech was absent, my car was just sitting there and no one in the building could give me an update. After it was initially completed, I had to take my car back to get fixed twice. It was very inconvenient as I had to rent a vehicle both times not knowing how long is have to have the rental car. B. Halo Lights - They create their own Halo's but I ordered mine from a different vendor and brought them in for installation. Obviously their knowledge on the lights was limited as it was not their product. That wasn't an issue. The issue was the web of wires under my hood after installation. Some were covered, some weren't. My LED fog lights weren't put in correctly. The wires eventually fell out from under my vehicle and ended up frayed from dragging on the asphalt. If you want good service, you have to annoy the hell out of these guys, and who wants to be that way? No one. I wanted to have a shop I could consistently bring my car to for different projects. These guys just aren't organized enough for me. Use at own risk.

You can see the unevenness of the white space between the two stripes that were installed.

I was just 16 when I went to this place to have my car worked on. I had just gotten my first car ever and wanted to add some racing stripes down the middle. I admit it's my fault that I should have done more research on pricing before deciding on this place, but almost 750 dollars for two small stripes from bumper to bumper is kinda a lot. Like, a lot. And now I wouldn't mind the price if the quality of work was what they had claimed, but sadly over time I've began to see more and more inconsistencies in the job and needless to say it pisses me off. My car ended up taking a whole extra day because they messed up on of the stripes. That gives you a whole extra day to check and recheck your work until you know it's done properly. I've got a Camaro SS, and before I paid I also asked about getting my emblems wrapped. He said 150 for both Chevy emblems. I said I'd hold off on them until a later date, so he told me he'd do the faces of them for free. Awesome! I figured since I'm already spending almost 750 dollars I should get these for free. I show up to pick up my car and the bow ties haven't even been touched. Now I wasn't really mad about this since I hadn't paid for it but it was still just a little annoying, and I wasn't going to leave my car with them for another whole day so I just let it slide. Another problem I've come across is that the vinyl is starting to get a little faded in some spots. This leaves the black a little uneven, not enough to be a huge problem but since it's my car and I see ever problem with it, it's just another little reason I wish I had waited and did more research. The customer service I must say was pretty cool. Chris was who I worked with and he was a really nice guy and I don't think he had any foul intentions in any way but I do think that a little more effort and attention to detail could have been put in by the team to make sure I was getting what I had paid for. Now the only reasons I haven't reached back out to the store is one, because these stripes were only meant to be temporary, I'm gonna be doing the entire car very soon, and two, reading other reviews shows me that the store isn't very open to helping you once you've left, so I saw it as a waste of my time and effort. I can't speak on there Audio side of things, but for vinyl wrapping and tinting, you can definitely find better work in Jax for a better price.

I had the unfortunate experience of hiring Corey Adams from Sixth Gear in Jacksonville Florida to…read moreredesign my website. Corey was recommended by an SEO company and like a sucker I trusted their advice. I never met Corey as I live 5000 miles away from Florida. I am guessing that he works well with his family and friends but clients such as myself are another story. I paid half up front, $1750 and signed a contract after a lot of promises by Corey and a good 7 months of repeated calls from Corey to earn my business. He promised a fast turn around, and said I had all the content he needed already up on my site. I did express that I would be changing a few things, after all this was an updated design. I sent around 200 high-resolution images and ideas to start. After several home page designs it became clear that we had differing ideas for the branding of my company, this can happen, and perhaps it was time to move on. I even suggested he design another site I was working on, that was much smaller. I was concerned about how to bring this up, since I was basically telling him I did not like the design he created, or how he envisioned my site. I was respectful of his time and tried to express my ideas clearly. He also had my money. Corey did not want work on the smaller site, he said we had a contract and I was obligated to pay him the entire $3500 for the original site design. So, we continued. He also told me he could only talk on the phone Tuesdays at 10:00 AM. I am hours earlier than Corey's time zone. Corey scheduled several phone meeting, at his requests, and then would blow them off with no notice. Five months from contract signing Corey told me I was not a priority and that he would do nothing until all the "content" was delivered. I suggested that he work on the pages he had content for however he found this suggestion offensive. I did send updated written content and I spent at least a month sending over 800 high-resolution images and still nothing from Corey. Eleven months into this, having not talked to him in months, he told me that he was making progress on the site and I could expect to see a final design soon. After that email I waited 20 days and then sent a short note saying I was free to talk to him any time about the site. This last note was Corey's excuse to insult me personally, stating I was rude, as well as other personal and sexist insults directed at me. He said had no obligation to complete his contract finishing the website since he owned his own company. He was dropping me as a client and refusing to complete the site. He did not send a refund, but did sent a bunch of word press files and a site not even close to complete. It was obvious he had done nothing for the past months, no new images, no updates, and no new content, just the same site as I had seen four month before. Corey Adam's behavior was unethical, unprofessional, extremely childish and perhaps, a con. I live 5000 miles away and there is not much I can do. What a mistake to hire someone so far away. I cannot recommend Corey Adams or Sixth Gear to anyone.
