Upon arrival just a mediocre enclosure, carpet seams exposed, sub woofer not mounted into enclosure, no hardware for actual enclosure installation. Set an appointment for 10:30am to have my tint done, on 2 side windows and windshield. I arrived early so that it could be started on time. To my surprise though at 11:35am they start to pull my car in to get worked on. I was told it would be a hour and 30mins at most. That time came and went, now sitting past 1:30pm. I won't be coming here again, the seating in here is ridiculous. The store layout is a mess, wires exposed from all the junk they have hanging off the TV and displays that prolly haven't been touched or dusted since being placed in here it's just absolutely disgusting. read more

I came here for two services, install halo headlights, and install air suspension on my Dodge Challenger. A. Air Suspension - there's only one tech that worked on my suspension. There was very little communication regarding the process and completion. If that tech was absent, my car was just sitting there and no one in the building could give me an update. After it was initially completed, I had to take my car back to get fixed twice. It was very inconvenient as I had to rent a vehicle both times not knowing how long is have to have the rental car. B. Halo Lights - They create their own Halo's but I ordered mine from a different vendor and brought them in for installation. Obviously their knowledge on the lights was limited as it was not their product. That wasn't an issue. The issue was the web of wires under my hood after installation. Some were covered, some weren't. My LED fog lights weren't put in correctly. The wires eventually fell out from under my vehicle and ended up frayed from dragging on the asphalt. If you want good service, you have to annoy the hell out of these guys, and who wants to be that way? No one. I wanted to have a shop I could consistently bring my car to for different projects. These guys just aren't organized enough for me. Use at own risk. read more

Definitely a great car audio and tint shop. I had my 2000 Chevy Silverado stock radio replaced with something more modern. It had lost the ability to play any FM stations and was generally pretty old and outdated. Overall, I couldn't have been happier with the customer service, expertise and quality I received when going to Audio Designs & Customs. I now have a brand new radio, with blue tooth capability, XM satellite and great sound! I also had the window tint on my truck done while I was there and I was very impressed with the look and overall appearance. I now have a rekindled appreciation for my Silverado that will last a lifetime. The speed at which all this was performed was amazing too! I was in and out of the shop in roughly 90 minutes and the quality is superb! I couldn't have asked for a better experience coming here. I was just 16 when I went to this place to have my car worked on. I had just gotten my first car ever and wanted to add some racing stripes down the middle. I admit it's my fault that I should have done more research on pricing before deciding on this place, but almost 750 dollars for two small stripes from bumper to bumper is kinda a lot. Like, a lot. And now I wouldn't mind the price if the quality of work was what they had claimed, but sadly over time I've began to see more and more inconsistencies in the job and needless to say it pisses me off. My car ended up taking a whole extra day because they messed up on of the stripes. That gives you a whole extra day to check and recheck your work until you know it's done properly. I've got a Camaro SS, and before I paid I also asked about getting my emblems wrapped. He said 150 for both Chevy emblems. I said I'd hold off on them until a later date, so he told me he'd do the faces of them for free. Awesome! I figured since I'm already spending almost 750 dollars I should get these for free. I show up to pick up my car and the bow ties haven't even been touched. Now I wasn't really mad about this since I hadn't paid for it but it was still just a little annoying, and I wasn't going to leave my car with them for another whole day so I just let it slide. Another problem I've come across is that the vinyl is starting to get a little faded in some spots. This leaves the black a little uneven, not enough to be a huge problem but since it's my car and I see ever problem with it, it's just another little reason I wish I had waited and did more research. The customer service I must say was pretty cool. Chris was who I worked with and he was a really nice guy and I don't think he had any foul intentions in any way but I do think that a little more effort and attention to detail could have been put in by the team to make sure I was getting what I had paid for. Now the only reasons I haven't reached back out to the store is one, because these stripes were only meant to be temporary, I'm gonna be doing the entire car very soon, and two, reading other reviews shows me that the store isn't very open to helping you once you've left, so I saw it as a waste of my time and effort. I can't speak on there Audio side of things, but for vinyl wrapping and tinting, you can definitely find better work in Jax for a better price. read more

Sells on professional installation but the opposite of what you will get. Pictures says it all. They partially replaced carpet after removing speaker box months later. There was carpet remove and never placed back. Leather seats where not installed fitted correctly. Job took 2months after told a week estimate. Had to go in 3 times at there request to continue to have carpet redone. Glad I didnot pay for the rest of work through this shop. Not true installers, they contract out to less qualified on somethings and inhouse employee know very little on making sure details are done correctly, especially paying 4k for upgrades. read more

I would give their product and installation quality 4 stars, but my 2 stars are based on customer service experience. We had one of our cars tinted here and for the most part, it looked very well done. Problem was, the windshield tint was way too dark for nighttime driving so we went back to try to get it corrected the very next day. Not only were they not willing to redo the one problem area (just changing out the windshield tint) but they wanted to charge full price for new installation and even more money to remove what they just put on the day before ! Now I'm a reasonable person, and I understand they did the work they were paid for, but how can I know if I'm satisfied with the work until it's complete? shouldn't I be happy with all the work I paid for? If I'm not satisfied, I feel there should be some recourse without having to pay full price to remove and replace the problem. The nature of this type of service is that you can't know the full quality of what your buying until it is complete and a few days go by for driving day and night to test visibility and also to make sure the bubbles disappear. Bottom line is a shop should stand behind their work, which this one claims to do. To me, standing behind your work means making sure the customer is satisfied when there are REASONABLE expectations. I don't think we were unreasonable in our request. I get that no one wants to work for free, but I do think they could've redone the windshield for free (or at least at a discount) given the circumstance. It's not like someone gave us a professional suggestion in advance saying "hey this might be too dark at night in the front, typically, we do this color tint instead". After all, we aren't professionals that can pick out the best tint for our situation, we can only tell you generally what we want and point at samples. We paid for the entire car to be tinted and are still driving around with the front windshield untinted. So ultimately we paid for something we weren't happy with and no longer have. We removed it ourselves with a blowdryer and a neighbor who happened to be in the industry, otherwise I wouldn't recommend trying this yourself, as you can do more harm than good. However, I also don't reccomend paying someone to do it when they should do it for free. Good tint jobs are not cheap so I don't mind the original price of installation. It was competitive pricing for the quality of product, which is why we came to this place over others. Just do research on what you want and be prepared that it can cost you MORE if you're not satisfied, and you won't get your money back. In comparison, I had my Cadillac srx done somewhere else a few years ago and I could see examples in that shop on glass in different lights before I paid and installed the tint. My suggestion is, if you only have money/ time for one installation, maybe get the sides done first, drive around at night and see how you like it, then do the windshield seperately darker or lighter based on how you like the other windows. Or find a place that offers free satisfaction guaruntee. read more

I brought my 2016 Camaro to get pink vinyl stipes down the hood and trunk in February of 2016 and I'm January of 2017 I contacted the manager die to the stripes fading. I was told to bring the car by so they could take pictures and contact the manufacturer of the vinyl. I called once a week to get a status on the situation and the manager was never there to take my call. He finally went me an email and when my husband called him within the same hour of it being sent he was not at the ship yet again. My husband called daily for about 2 weeks and finally the new manager Aaron took his call. Aaron has informed us that the manufacturer is not going to warranty the vinyl. Evidentially they welcome you dropping $2k in their shop but won't back their products! I'm absolutely disgusted and will make it My goal to let everyone know that they use cheap vinyl and don't back their product they are quick to sell you on. Regardless in the manufacturer is backing their product or not you'll sold me on it, put it on my car, took $500 on my money for it, but you won't fix the problem?!!! read more

I was looking for a tinting guy to come to my house to tint the windows on my semi truck. A gentleman called and set up an appointment and added there would be a 40 dollar additional charge to come to my house. I consented and that was that. So the gentleman came did the work which was fine, no problems with the quality of the job. The shock came at payment time. Imagine my shock when the guy said 570.00!!! Needless to say I flipped out I'm no stranger to having windows tinted, and as such I anticipated maybe 300.00 but 570.00? Give me a break!! I've had 2 vehicles done for less than 300.00 and they were way more complicated curved glass etc. I settled on a somewhat lesser amount but way way more than it was worth. BE WARNED!!!!! read more

Took my new truck for stereo upgrade, and install of high end components. they used original stock wiring for all the speakers except woofers and I'm sure they would have if they could. Put wrong material on woofer box, carpet and not matching to seats. Has been 3 months and still haven't fixed it. Had to rewire a couple things when I realized it was set up improperly. A large amount of money was spent expecting a professional install. Would have gone to flea market if I wanted this lack of quality install. read more

This place is a joke! complete waste of time, simple radio install had to go back for it 5 times and they are not cheap. They lie, they do horrible work, use bad parts and try to get away with it. Please save yourself the hassle and go to a real shop, all of the 5 star reviews have to be fake, as I sat there on my 3rd visit out of 5 I saw multiple people coming back to get work redone, because of issues. Don't believe the hype. These guys do spotty work, they take short cuts, an when you call them on it they make excuses for it. I had my audio system for my bike done at this shop, it already had most of the installation done from another vendor. These guys charged me for work they didn't even do, the MANAGER Chris wouldn't even take my call after a called him on it, he made up every lame excuse you could think of. Not to mention to speakers were wired out of phase, and there were no quick disconnects on the wires to the bags on my Harley. Ran down my battery, then arc the post to the battery by connecting the hot to the negative post. Customer service sucks, I don't know who, so called voted this place #1 in Jacksonville, I think they lied about that too. So, take your business to these guys at your own risk!!!!! read more

wish i could give a -15 star on this review because they dont deserve a 1 star at all first let me say i have gotten service here before when darien was more involved with his shop but now that he isn't it is going down hill fastttttt and im not sure if he care or not because i have told chris(the guy he has running the shop now) multiple times that i wanted to speak with darien and still no call or follow up about the bad attitude chris has had the jacked up over-priced prices the shop has charged and the weak jobs they are letting leave the shop now. chris told me my car will take 6 hours to remove stripes that they put on themselves a little over 2 years ago i didn't get my car back until a week later ...how do a 6 hour job take a week??? and he stated they charge by the hour now so really they had to be playing around and not really working and just came up with an amount of time it took so they can over charge for something they know should not take that long if they knew what they were doing but clearly not then i called the shop 15 times to see when my car will be ready the day before it hit a full week and can you believe no answer..not one time out of 15 times(i have the calling record) who doesn't answer the phone when they have someone car in their possession ????? i had to eventually take a 30 min trip over there just to see him sitting behind the desk as usual doing nothing on top of all that the stripes left a brown looking stain on my car that after paying over 600 dollars to get removed he then say itll be more to buff it out so my car looked worst leaving then it did when i brought it in he told me out his mouth it all about the money and they have to pay 10,000 to rent that small space ...like are you serious??? so customers issues dont mean anything..its all about the money? he said with a serious face yes but if he was smart he would know that he is suppose to keep the customer happy so they will come back and that's what keeps your shop open but they lost one today...well a few because i have friends that i sent over to them for work too but they wont be back either i will neverrrrrrr go back here again and i sugguest no one else do business with them either its plenty of places that do way better work and will treat you better and not waste your time and money like they did to me..trust me this company is a joke read more
